Even if its a small endevour where you get paid to mitigate in crypto to only a few clients it would be awesome to see someone step up and push the boundaries of the Internet a little bit back to where they were.

I'm on TOR and the site is working quite well for me. Definitely faster than usual. Had an issue where I opened multiple tabs at once and was given an error, but all I had to do was refresh the pages and they loaded up just fine. I have some issues with getting videos to load but I'm quite sure that's just me being a little retarded.

IMO it's working pretty good, occasionally the page doesn't load right maybe 1/20 times, just refresh and it works. Haven't gotten kicked out for "too many requests" like the last one.

Nice work, I can only imagine how salty DDOS faggots will be seeing that KF is getting beefed defences.

This is beautiful. Actual inspiring stuff as the troons are no doubt losing their shit over a little ground green bird putting a better defense than the overpriced flying blue one.

Flares are defensive countermeasures used by aircraft to defend against missiles. Therefore flare is a valid metaphor for DDOS mitigation.
I hadn't thought of that meaning of the word in connection to what it is. I think you're right and "Cloudflare" was supposed to be a metaphor for digital countermeasures for cloud computing.

A metaphor/simile could still be unique enough to be trademarked if you're the first person to come up with the idea of using it in such a radically different context though.

E.g. a company named "Fort Knox, Inc," is the registered owner of trademark #73369288 for "FORT KNOX" in the context of "Gun Safes and Wall Safes to Provide Secure Storage for Guns and Valuables," even though the name is nothing more than just a metaphor for how secure their products are. This is actually an interesting one because looking at the trademark history, it looks like it was initially rejected, appealed, approved, and then an opposition was filed, but the trademark application was eventually accepted and registered as a trademark. So, clearly, there was room for argument, but the trademark registration was ultimately successful.

Every 4 or 5 actions on the site if thats responding on a thread, checking alerts, or replying to a post.
OOPS Somthing went wrong! Using Thor. Have to New Ident re-log in and it does it again after 5 or 6 actions.
Bruh!

My main issue right now is something happens where the fucking thing locks up after a few hours and starts sending white pages out. I don't know what's causing it.

That's the only issue I've encountered so far. Don't know if it matters, but I've been reusing the same tabs since it launched, and only got the KiwiFlare page once. The white screens happen about once an hour for me, and last about 2 minutes.
