Hey y’all. I’m desperate. Someone abandoned a litter of kittens near my apartment. I managed to rescue one yesterday from under the hood of my car. Today I found another one but he keeps running away and hiding in tight spots where i cant reach him, I’ve spent hours upon hours trying to get him to come out, he has eaten plenty of wet food in all my attempts to get him but he never comes close enough for me to catch him. He is so scared, I have tried everything and he just keeps running away. He is now in my neighbour’s garden hiding somewhere I guess. I can’t deal with the anxiety of knowing there is a little kitten out there, I haven’t stopped crying since morning. BTW I live in rural Portugal so do not suggest trying to find help near some sort of “professional” cat rescue… there is none whatsoever.
Yeah, they are trying to use you. If I were you I would just weight all the pros and cons. If they can pay your tuition and that’s something you cannot do on your own maybe insider it (?) or if you need/want some money. Just see it as a transactional situation. You have a kidney that they value so so much. Take a look at the situation and decide if they can give you enough things (and/or money) that would make it worth it for you. Also, if you decide to do it get all the money and compensation up front. She abandoned you once she will do it again however it is a good opportunity for you to get something out of this situation just don’t think that what your getting is a mom cause that ship sailed the moment she left you 19 years ago.
