Ghostarchive if you want to share, but for personal archiving https://github.com/ArchiveBox/ArchiveBox/tree/dev is the best. If it ain't on your disk, it might as well not exist. HDDs are cheap, just hoard shit.I didn't even know archive.today still worked. I haven't been able to connect .today, .md, .is, etc for a month or two.
Should I use ghostarchive and hope for the best or something else? I've had ghostarchive not work a couple of times.
Before you choose an archiving service, it would seem you should share you opinion about gay dating/marriage and then people can best direct you to an archiving service that aligns with your personal beliefs.I didn't even know archive.today still worked. I haven't been able to connect .today, .md, .is, etc for a month or two.

archive.today doesn't work with certain ISP providers if you are using a VPN. I have wanted to add this to the Archival Tools guide along with some other sites (megalodon.jp & ghostarchive.org) which do the same archival thing.I didn't even know archive.today still worked. I haven't been able to connect .today, .md, .is, etc for a month or two.
From what I've noticed, archive.today seems to geoblock some countries arbitrarily and without any kind of notice to the user. Assuming you have a VPN, switch to a different location. Only some locations seem to work, and I use Mullvad.I didn't even know archive.today still worked. I haven't been able to connect .today, .md, .is, etc for a month or two.

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for.Ghostarchive if you want to share, but for personal archiving https://github.com/ArchiveBox/ArchiveBox/tree/dev is the best. If it ain't on your disk, it might as well not exist. HDDs are cheap, just hoard shit.
Uh oh, I hope our top archive doesn't self-immolate over some petty bullshit, or an elaborate FBI/CIA OSINT smuggling plot. A lot of weirdos and spooks would celebrate its destruction.I've not included quite a bit here. This whole thing seems gay. In fact, the owner of archive.is is, from what I can tell, threatening to make a dating app for homosexuals named after this person's grandfather.
As always, kiwis,.
I can't wait to need four archives like this just to protect myself against future dumbfuckery.Uh oh, I hope our top archive doesn't self-immolate over some petty bullshit, or an elaborate FBI/CIA OSINT smuggling plot.
I'm using Mullvad as well. I'll try some other exit nodes later on and see if I can finally connect. I'll add megalodon.jp as a backup backup options.Only some locations seem to work, and I use Mullvad.
In the past year it became evident to me that we have to oh baby quadruple archive for very important stuff. All of them have various problems, and the Archive.today man is both attacking and defending.I can't wait to need four archives like this just to protect myself against future dumbfuckery.
It's been discussed before, and an archive is one aspect of Kiwi Farms which Null can't replace. Absolutely no one would trust it for evidence. The entire reason a random archive can be trusted for some petty bullshit is exactly because it's incredibly unlikely for the owner of an archive to ruin his credibility over a tweet or some shit.
Their Netherlands servers seem to be working for me today, while a few others like US, JP, and rawdogging it would just give me infinite recaptcha loops.I'm using Mullvad as well. I'll try some other exit nodes later on and see if I can finally connect. I'll add megalodon.jp as a backup backup options.
My favourite part of zoomer drama is how it revolves largely around Discord screenshots, and perceived veracity is mostly based on the reputation of the accuser. But maybe we're too autistic about this when a TikTok video or "Google Docky" with badly compressed screenshots is good enough for the Zoomies.
...or turns out to be just another gay project by everyone's favorite Internet Faggot in Residence, Jason Scott of the Internet Archive.Uh oh, I hope our top archive doesn't self-immolate over some petty bullshit, or an elaborate FBI/CIA OSINT smuggling plot.
They do, but they can't admit that in public. It would mean admitting they're incompetent, malicious, and wrong. They really have no idea why people voted Trump. Wow.
There has also been a discussion on Hacker News about this by now:It seems people don’t read between the lines. They took what I wrote on finne troll for neuroslop.
So let’s say it plain.
There is a family. A big one. They move in politics and in the arms trade.
There is one man in that family who does something else. He doxes people on the internet. He does it to drive traffic to
his little blog, packed with ads.
In other words, he is the fool of the family. No use to the real business.
He shames the family name and gets in the way of his father and his brother.
You don’t believe it?
He used to run a blog at patokallio.name. Now it’s called gyrovague.com. The name “Patokallio” is hidden in the sidebar.
You have to click to see it. It’s not in the text at all. In the posts, even in quotes, he cuts the name out every time.
So the talk with the family already happened. It must have gone like this: live how you want, but you are not our
brother, avoid using our name.
And now, in that position, the man has taken up doxing random internet projects just to make a little money.
Epic, isn’t it.
I believe this to have been reasonable.dang said:Edit: after looking at this more closely, I have a counterintuitive (to me at least) take: I think this is interesting enough to transcend the usual categories. That is, we'd normally downweight this kind of post off the frontpage - but in this case there are so many unusual variables that the usual rules don't apply.
