How can you put a title on this?

Posted in Uncategorized on May 16, 2010 by Waya(Leanne)

Alright. So here it is. I really want to get rid of Wolfbane’s presence in my head.(Wolfbane is the wolf devil…I believe in Wolf Spirits) I see myself getting thinner and thinner, and the thinner I get, the more my mind screams at me- telling me that I am jiggly, fat, good for nothing, and ugly. I hate it so much, and I feel like I can’t do anything to stop it. It is like an addiction. Drug addicts can’t stop. I can’t start. I want to make something of myself, to be a protector of all things wild and free. But i’m losing myself, and it scares me. I don’t have much energy at all, and I cannot do the things I used to love. Simple things like running a few feet are almost impossible. It takes so much out of me just to live. My legs are slowly starting to go numb. The doctor called it “drop foot.” What if I actually lose the ability to walk? What will I do? This is the logical side of me typing this. I know that to get better I need to just go at it and eat and eat and eat some more. But when I go to the kitchen, Wolfbane sneaks in and tells me no way. I listen to him, and why do I listen when I know he is the evil one? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY!!! I’m going CRAZY. I DON’T WANT TO DIE!!!

Secret Obsession

Posted in Uncategorized on May 10, 2010 by Waya(Leanne)

Does anyone have a secret obsession? My guess is that most people do. Human animals are so strange in the fact that they keep some of their interests/hobbies secret from others, just because they think that people will look down on them for it. So today, I am going to tell the world one of my obsessions, because I am NOT afraid of what others think!(Is that the wolf part of me speaking? Hmmmm…) So here goes:  I have really loved Pokemon, ever since it first came out! I was really young, and everyone in my neighborhood was crazy about it. So naturally, I came to love that little electric mouse too. I remember my mom buying me a lunchable, and on the back were mini pictures of the pokemon.(Remember when there were only 15o? Haha.) The idea was to cut each one of them out and trade them like the cards. I made my mom buy me a bunch of lunchables so I could collect them all. What I didn’t realise was that they were not the actual cards, so when I proudly went over to my neighbor’s house to show her my collection, she laughed at me and said “Those arent real!” We got into an argument. Now that I think about it, kids back then took their pokemon cards very seriously. Tons of fights had to be broken up by parents because of unfair trades, card theft, etc.. Pretty funny when I think about it now! Anyway, Pikachu was my first favorite pokemon, and I still love it, but my new faves are eevee and Umbreon. I also went through a Lugia/Latios phase, but those have passed even though, like pikachu, I still like them.  The coolest thing for me was getting to go to the Pokemon Center in Tokyo, Japan. I lived in Japan for three AMAZING years, but it was on a coastal island called Okinawa, and not the actual mainland. I was so close and yet so far…but then, when we had to move, my parents took us to Tokyo as we left. The Center was awesome, and sooooooooo full of pokemon glory. We were the first ones in line!!! I spent about $200 total. 0-0 My little sis had filled her shopping basket completely full of figures…we had to gently explain that she had to put some back. My favorite thing I bought would have to be my pikachu plushie, and my canvas eevee plushie. They are soooooooo kawaii!

Here are some of my pokemon plushies! The canvas eevee I got from the Pokemon Center is the one in the back. I recently got the pokedoll eevee for an Easter gift!

The Boo-nanna King

I was going through my messy closet today, and guess what I found? My camera cord!!! Yesssssssssss!!! So now I can FINALLY upload new pics.

The past few days have been really icky. I skipped school for a week, and I’m feeling out of wack again. It sucks.

Last week, my mom and I went to Target to get some poster board for my younger sister’s project. Our Target just opened up a fresh grocery section, so you can imagine that they are advertising it like crazy. One would think you could just walk into a Target, snatch what you need, and leave quickly. Wrong. As we entered, an overweight man with a BUNCH of bananas came over and stopped us in our tracks. He began asking us all kinds of questions about bananas and other fruit. He talked kind of weird, like a mentally challenged person…or just a person with a very low IQ. We could tell something was kind of wrong with this dude, so we just smiled and nodded. But he wouldn’t leave us alone. 0-0 He just kept going on and on about fruit. I thought to myself, “Target, if you want people to go to your fresh grocery section, this DEFINITELY not the guy you want advertising. Eventually we got the guy to stop talking, but not before he broke of a banana from his big bunch and gave it to us. We weren’t sure if it was free or if we had to pay for it, so we just put it down in, yes you guessed it, the fresh grocery section. Wow. He really  IS  the boo-nanna king.(Charlie the Unicorn reference. If you dont know what that is, go to YouTube.) The grocery section actually has a decent selection of goods, and my fave thing there was this:

Yummy! It's a sweet potato! I love this because of the fact it is in a wrapper, and can be cooked in the microwave. Quick and easy!

Last Day

Nanana…I didn’t much feel like posting anything today, but then I realized that it was the last day of April, and I said, “Oh fine, why not?”  I’ve been feeling rather sick with a headache kind of thing for the past three days. It is getting a little better today, but I’m still not 100%.

I really want to upload some pictures I have taken of random things, but I am unable to do so because my camera cord is lost. 0-0 I MUST find it!!!

I wish I could go swinging today…but I can’t because of my weight. I’m still deathly thin. Why can’t I make myself eat more? Life has become such a tremendous struggle. Why, why, why? Why me? Of all the people in the world why me?

Last Summer…

Posted in Trips on April 25, 2010 by Waya(Leanne)

Last summer, I went on a super fun road trip that led me many places.  I would like to take the time right now to tell about my awesome adventure.

Ok, so the first thing we(my family/cousins) did, was drive to the Kentucky Horse Park. It was a rather hot day, and many of the horses were not in their stables. Supposedly there was a really great museum about the thoroughbred horse, but we didn’t have time to walk through it.-_-

Haha, my horse is so well trained!

I DID get to go on a trail ride though. It was the first time I ever rode a horse.(Yes, yes, I’ve been on plenty of  lame “pony rides” but those don’t count!) I had a great time overall.

That's me with the yellow shirt^^ My horse was named Indigo.

After the whole horse park thing, our journey continued. We drove all the way to Minnesota! That’s where the real fun happened.(For me at least.) We went to my grandma’s old farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. It is nice because there is almost NO civilization around for miles. One feels a sense of peace and contentment.

The long driveway to my grandma's house. The mailbox is all the way at the end, so in order to get the mail my grandma has to take a LONG walk. 0-0

On the other hand, it is not nice because the shower is ice cold and the house is FULL of creepy dolls(my grandma collected them) There are around 500 dolls total, and they are EVERYWHERE. On the beds. On the shelves. In the CLOSET. *Shudders.* They scare me.

This is only a tiny, miniscule, microscopic portion of the dolls in my grandma's house.

On the second day we were there, a random farm cat found its way into the front yard. It was very friendly and sweet, and followed us around!

We fed the cat bread.^^ I bet she is thinking, "Where iz ta cheezburger?"

For lunch that day, we went to a restaurant. “What do MEAN you went to a restaurant? You said you were in the middle of nowhere!” Hmmmm, well, that isn’t entirely true. There is a town close by. It consists of a restaurant, a nice house with some horses, a flag, and…well, thats about it! Here is the town sign/flag I mentioned. This has to be the smallest town in the world!

Hahaha...Vinje.

The lunch sucked. On the menu there was a “veggie burger.”  Being a devoted vegetarian, I ordered it. Turns out, their idea of a veggie burger is a freaking huge hamburger with onions, pale tomato, and lettuce. Icky gross. -_-

The time had come to leave my grandma’s. We all needed a little civilization. So, we packed our bags and drove to my cousins house. When we got there, we all relaxed for the rest of the day. They have a swing set, and I LOVE to swing. Needless to say, I spent a good amount of my time there swinging. My mom snapped a photo while I wasn’t looking.

Weeeeeeeeee

The next day we decided to visit the new bowling/arcade place that opened up. It was fun, especially since I won the game. Im not usually that good at bowling, so I was happy and suprised to win.

Enjoying root beer as we all wait our turns...

When night came, we knew we needed to have a campfire with smores. Oh do I LOVE the smell of a good ol’ campfire!

Ahhhhhhh...fire is fun!

I stayed at my cousins house for a while longer, and we did a few more things like: Go to Grand Avenue(GREAT place, with funky artsy stores, and yummy cafe’s.) and visit the Mall of America. I had a great time, and wish I could have purchased every single wolf item the mall had to offer. I really had my eye on a light up wall picture…it was huge, at least 5ft, and only costed $100! I didn’t have room for it though.:( I DID manage to get my paws on a cool wolf statue, a wall hanging, and a cedar wood jewlery box. There goes $70! Hahaha…

Speaking of wolves, it was time to begin the highlight of my trip…visiting the International Wolf Center! We only stayed in Ely(The location of the Center) for two days, but it was uber-fun. The wolves were beautiful…even when tearing into a roadkill deer carcass.

Yum?

The wolves seem to like it!^^

I could have spent the rest of my life here…wolf photography is so fun! You never know what kind of photos you might get…

Like this...

Or this...

and yes, even this. 0-0

There was a wolf themed museum, but it was being renovated and therefore closed. Bummer! We did get to play WolfQuest, a wolf themed video game, as well as listen to presentations about wolves/watch wolf video in the Center’s wolf theater. It was sooooooooooo fun.

Awww...

I run with wolves!!!

Ely is a small town(Not as small as Vinje hahaha) and they had a nice little coffee shop that I could not resist visiting.

They served a fair cup of coffee!

Our journey in Ely was at an end, and we drove back to my cousins house to celebrate my 16th birthday! I had a great birthday party with my family. I tried soy ice cream for the first time, and it was soooooooy good!

Our trip was finally at an end. We packed up and left for home soon after my party. I  have to say that this vacation was one of the best of my life!

I don’t know what to do…I want to be normal, but I just can’t seem to be. I will have a few good days in a row and then boom-back to feeling like this. Crappy and blah. No happy happy friday this week. I need to post something cute to cheer me up…
