Description

We know Flippy was not alone when he fought in war, he had a team of his own, Sneaky and Mouse Ka-Boom, but there could've been another soldier we were recently introduced of in one of the recent episodes of Happy Tree Friends, the mystery soldier. Who was he, what connection did he have with his team, more importantly, what connection did he have with Flippy?
what we DO know about the mystery soldier, is that he could've been an old ally of Flippy who fought alongside him in a war, where he dies an unfortunate death, presumably from war chemicals. He wears a gas mask, which ironically didn't save him from the deadly war chemicals from melting his face. Much like Sneaky and Mouse Ka-Boom, he never came back in future episodes as he only appeared in Flippy's flashbacks in one of the recent HTF episodes "In Over Your Hedge." This theory points to these possibilities of who this mystery soldier was and how he was close to Flippy.

The mystery soldier was Flippy's family member, which could explain on why he looks EXTREMELY familiar to Flippy however we didn't see what facial features he had, since his face had melted off. it's possible he could've been Flippy's father who fought in war before and Flippy wanted to protect his country like his father, or he could've been his twin brother who wanted to protect the country with Flippy.

The mystery soldier does not exist, he could represent Flippy himself as he feels guilty not saving his fellow soldiers and imagined it to be him instead. In fact, we did see a glimpse of Flippy's war flashbacks in an HTF "Double Whammy Part 2" when Flippy thought he was seeing the enemy soldiers using flame throwers to burn his fellow comrades, however it seemed that Flippy only imagined his comrades to be him.

"Fliqpy" is the mysterious soldier, since he is an alter ego that was made from Flippy's traumatic memories from war and acts as a vengeful ghost and haunts Flippy through his memories, bad dreams and hallucinations. "Fliqpy" would appear as one of Flippy's fallen comrades or enemies, all to get Flippy to black out so "Fliqpy" could possess his body and kill everyone. This makes sense since "Fliqpy" fought Flippy as an attempt to gain control of his body all for himself in both "Double Whammy" and "Autopsy Turvy." Sadly all of this was nothing more than a frightening hallucination to traumatic experiment.

Had pretty much the same idea of him being family. My take on him would be that he'd be his older brother named Calmers and his personality would be more laid back, basically the opposite of flippy. He'd die horrifically judging by his face and would set off flippys first rampage.
