Personal decision, as the person who said lyrics belong to does not want them on streaming services for very understandable reasons. If you want to listen to them with vocals, bandcamp and YouTube are the only places I can provide said versions. Sorry for the inconvenience! But I respect said persons boundaries

DE (( or simply known as Higgsbury )) is a duo project between me and SH4RKBAYT/v0tumst3ll4rum ! We both came up with the idea of the character and they did all the designing / art related things. They’re responsible for all the cool art and I create the music.

Other than that they just kind of….exist….

Genuinely a good question because I don’t even KNOW how to answer. Suicide simulator (( sim for short )) hasn’t really developed into its own character yet. It used to go by the name zippertits and was this deer-thing but when I actively started working on funerary art it lost its touch.

As of right now, sim is nothing. I kind of associated it with myself for the time being (( which by the way, the character on the cover for funerary art is supposed to be me )) They came to be during one of the absolute worst periods of my life and it shows in the works I put out under this name. They’re one big mess full of repressed anger. It’s the only alias ( next to some of Brooklyns work ) that is truly just personal work.

So….to answer your question for now…..sim can be anything….it is all up to your interpretation, just like it’s musical work :) but I do hope go attach something to it one day

how do you feel about fans or ppl making remixes of ur music?

Completely fine with it and even encouraged ! In the past I had dropped stems for certain tracks so people could remix them or use them for recourses. Getting your work remixed is so cool so if you have remixed my work or know of someone who did let me know pls!!!! I am always curious to see what people create.

Yes!!!! I’ve wanted that ever since I started this whole project. I already have designs for t-shirts / stickers / charms etc. Just need a good place to actually manufacture these on since redbubble and teespring arent really the greatest quality wise.

As for physicals, I hope to release a bunch of CD’s / tapes and maybe even vinyl one day. CDs are my go to since I do enjoy working with them the most, but I’d love to have posca on vinyl once !! Would be cool for like gabber / hardcore dj’s that play vinyl sets.

I just never had the time to properly think any of it through since I am a very busy person ( work, college and an internship ) and with me being European sending stuff out is incredibly expensive.

Hello everyone! Since we’re approaching the end of the year I wanted to do a big compilation album! Catch is that YOU can vote for which songs to be on it! It would mean a lot if you could all fill in the forum !

Once I’m done with selecting every song based off of what people like the most I will put it together and send it out asap! All money made from it will be going to both Dierenlot and Dierenbescherming, two Dutch animal protection organizations that take care of abandoned, abused, sick and neglected animals and make sure they have a home or can safely return into the wild. Every animal deserves a good home this Christmas, and it would mean a lot to me if you could help me donate to these lovely charities ♥️ this will certainly not be the last time I’ll do a charity event! I hope that in the upcoming few years I’ll be able to do more charity work.

Brooklyns a bit of an odd one mostly because I haven’t fully figured her out as a character yet, but there’s a few things that I can tell you about!

- Brooklyn has a girlfriend named Hayden! She was planning on purposing to her until she became terminally ill.

- I’ve mentioned it before but she was the first character for this project! She used to be this somewhat pastel blue and purple colored red panda. I ended up changing her a bunch to somewhat for the narrative I wrote for her at the time.

- her illness is hard to explain as I still haven’t fully figured it out myself yet, but the tree growing out of her eye IS in fact real and It grows bigger every day. Due to this disease she’s blind in one eye and suffers from insanely bad nerve pain and constant migraines due to the pressure being put on her skull.

INTERACTIVE VISUAL ART EXPEDITION AND BROOKLYN

Hey all, with the release of IVAE I really wanted to share the concepts I was working on when this project was still active before I gave up on it. A lot went into it and it makes me sad if I don’t talk about it!

Who is Brooklyn?

Brooklyn was the first ever character created for the BBSI project. She was part of my old oc universe panic Paradise (( before I purged the idea and started over )) she’s a maincoon cat that produces experimental Foley music. She’s in a relationship with Hayden which all went well until Brooklyn was diagnosed with a terminal illness that had no cure. Due to her fear of death she’s constantly on the run trying to find a place where she’s not reminded of her incoming death. IVAE is one of those places. Her running away has made her girlfriend insanely worried and is on an ongoing hunt to find her. Doomed yuri!

Her work throughout the years

Being my first ever character, her first release was Dreamscape back in April of 2019, alongside stuck in a dream made in the same year. She later came back for a duo album with wolf mrdr ( obsessive love disorder ) in 2020 alongside appearing on body mismatch. 2022 would mark the next solo album for her, but later disappearing fully and only showing up once on victory lap. Over these years her music style has drastically changed, going from a form of downtempo, to lo-fi, to some form of psy-juke ish stuff and then finally finding her home in foley music and ambience.

THE GREAT LIL TRAUMA BOY INCIDENT (( STOP SUPPORTING O96O ))

Last year I had been sent an email from YouTube regarding a copyright strike on Lil trauma boy which I assumed to be one based on sample usage but turned out to be someone who had reuploaded my work under their name without prior contact or consent from me. Ever since then I’ve had an active back and forth with YouTube, Spotify and my distributor with proof of the work being mine in a full on document. As predicted none of them cared enough to look into my document and had completely swept me away, leaving me to never be able to upload the entirely of gabber due to them having copyright on my work.

I cannot express to everyone enough how much that entire scenario had impacted me, since I’m not a big artist nor did I ever think I’d be in a scenario like this, but due to the sudden rise in popularity the song had I guess it just caught on.

I wasn’t the only target here. They also uploaded the following without permission:

uhm, hii i liek ur music, someone has been stealing ur music on spotify and yt! someone by the name of o96o, has stolen Lil Traumaboy, and re-uploaded it as their own, i hope ur aware !!

I am and sadly have been aware for a very long time. Despite the many claims I’ve made both on YouTube, Spotify and even my distributor they refuse to do anything and it’s gotten to the point where I simply give up. It honestly just upsets me to see that people couldn’t wait for me to upload it myself let alone ASK if I was okay with it. Not only that but they refuse to take it down so no matter what I do I cannot get my OWN song back up.

Ive said it before and I’ll say it again, I don’t appreciate shit like this. And I truly hope the person who’s behind it who’s profiting off of MY work knows that I am highly disappointed in them. If you wanted my work on Spotify so bad you should’ve contacted me about it. Not take matters into your own hands.

I’ve been thinking about this for a bit now since I never really expected people to be that interested in my characters so!

I think I’m rather chill with what I’m ok with and what I don’t like, but when it comes to self shipping I basically just don’t want people to make any lewd content or just NSFW of them. I really don’t care if you wanna get married to like posca or anything, if that brings you comfort then it’s all fine by me! I just don’t want to see anything related to NSFW.

I also do kindly ask for people to respect each other if they do happen to like the same character!!! Pls don’t fight each other !!!! I remember that was a big issue back in the day so pls be nice. Sharing is caring after all

Outside of that, for HC’s I also don’t have a lot to say besides that I don’t want my characters to have anything biggoted or hateful or just really nasty connected to them (( like having a HC where one of my characters is like. Idk a Nazi. Pls don’t do that )) I also ask to not give my characters like…any fetishes or paraphillias…but I assume that’s kind of basic knowledge!

But if you want to assign a character an illness you have or anything along those lines that completely fine! (( like for example chu chu has adhd, that’s all cool!)) as long as your respectful about the topic!

I would really like to! However I sadly do think that for the time being I’m only gonna be able to do pre-recorded mixes. I’d still like to get my hands on my own personal pioneer DJ deck instead of borrowing one, but that shits crazy expensive.

Next to that I’m sadly running into the issue that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to play irl shows or even online shows due to my condition which does massively suck…….but for the time being I’ll try to find the time to just make some prerecorded mixes! While it’s not the same as actual live mixing, I do think it’s still fun to do as it allows me to show off music people might not even know of. I’m looking for an alternative to make DJ’ing more accessible for me in the meantime though

I was the lead musician for Vs omori week 1 (headspace / reverie / guilty ) and then also did the pause screen, main menu and game over music and also the grand finale AKA alter. The last thing I did for vs OMORI was a remake of guilty which I’ve actually uploaded on my channel! Alongside that I’ve also done most of the backgrounds for black space bossrush. Needless to say yes I do know the FNF mod and have been part of it since it started :) I think people that are new to my work don’t realize I worked on vs OMORI due to the fact it was under my at the time artist name Angelgutz.
