@panda Given Luna was going around telling people I "tried to date a 16 year old" (every part of that sentence is a lie) I suspect it's something along those lines. Those kinds of accusations are the best way to get people to hate someone without evidence...

@deivpaukst It's actually been almost a year. I first notified them of Luna's abuse and her hinting of involving herself in the FDo community publicly in January 2025.

At the time Karol was already financially supporting Luna and allowing her to manipulate him. Sima (then CoC member) had also been in contact with Luna (unbeknownst to me), and then mocked me for making that CoC report, despite the fact that making a formal report was suggested by another CoC member at the time (Lyude).

At the time, Karol claimed he'd recused himself from the situation and Sima later stepped down.

Now Karol is publicly and privately involving himself, I strongly suspect Sima is still pulling strings behind the scenes (the uncredited DM claiming they have "a plan tm" to deal with me sounds a lot like how she speaks), Luna is making a concerted effort [gitlab.freedesktop.org] to insert herself into the FDo community despite having nothing of value to offer to the ecosystem and no reason to do so other than to push me out (a few incomplete personal pet projects with zero users, written in a niche programming language with incomplete support across major distros do not, in fact, make any sense to host at FDo), and the rest of CoC is basically allowing all this to happen and apparently agreeing with a "well we don't know who the abuser really is so we're just going to do nothing" take (which, of course, means the abuser, Luna, wins).

I don't know how anyone thinks any of this makes sense.

@lina Jeez. A year? And they apologized and now are doing the same thing again. The lack of decisiveness is jaw dropping.

@deivpaukst As I've found out, Luna has copious amounts of free time to spend manipulating people, and given enough exposure to her tactics, there's a certain class of person who will completely warp their worldview to agree with her.

Karol has demonstrated he's one such person, and I'm pretty sure Sima is as well, and possibly others in the CoC team too by now. There are others too. I had to block people I considered friends because, after a year+ of exposure to hours and hours of Luna's traumadumping and manipulation like this, they'd started to believe outright hallucinations and false memories (that could easily be proven false by checking chat logs if they cared).

One year later, this is how a whole CoC team ends up, effectively, batting for Luna.

(How does Luna end up having so much free time to hurt me? Well, she seems to be getting away with basically doing almost no real work on her actual product for a year+. She even managed to get an NLNet grant. At the end of the year period she visibly crunched on her projects, even quietly backtracking disastrous project direction decisions that had triggered a fork by the largest active contributor while acting like that was the plan all along, I guess to be able to claim enough work was done that they'd pay her the final transfer.)

@deivpaukst Okay I snooped around and in a recent thread, apparently both Karol and Luna have some of the worst takes on climate change I've ever seen. Like trivially disprovable with high school math level.

I'm actually kind of happy seeing this level of lack of critical thinking skills. It's not just about me and the FDo situation, these two just live in their own world where even the laws of physics don't apply.

It's almost like Luna is the leftist version of the brain virus that turns normal people into deranged culture warriors in no time flat starting from the day they have their first mildly transphobic thought.
