The online portal will remain accessible through 5:00 PM JST (1:30 PM IST) on March 31, 2026, on the official JLPT website.

If you took the test in India (or other Overseas locations):

If you took the test in Japan:

Q: Why can't I see my results yet?
A: Traffic is extremely high during the first few hours of release. If the site doesn't load, please wait and try again later. Also, ensure you are checking after 10:00 AM JST.
Q: How long are online results available?
A: They are available until March 31, 2026. We highly recommend taking a screenshot or saving a PDF immediately, as the link will expire after this date.
Q: When will I get my physical certificate?
A: If you passed, your official Certificate of Proficiency will be sent via mail, typically arriving between March and April 2026.
Q: What if I failed one section but passed the overall score?
A: To pass the JLPT, you must meet both the minimum sectional score (benchmark) and the total pass mark. If you fail to meet the benchmark for even one section, you will not pass the exam.
