Anima Aeterna: a Hymn to the Lord Creator of all things. It is no coincidence that Earth is the first word of the text, and, at the same time, a solemn call to rediscover the Christian soul of our continent. The homonymous multidisciplinary project – conceived and founded by Andrea Buttignon, music producer and composer – enjoys the support of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the institutional operation of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation – EGTC GO. Through the union of symphonic music, cinema and technological interaction, Anima Aeterna aims to give expression to cross-border identity, offering a vision of brotherhood that transcends European geographical boundaries. A journey that many times seemed stuck in the impossible, has proven to be an authentic occasion of spiritual rebirth for the people involved and for those it has encountered along its path. In a world often blinded by the material, precisely the immaterial has proven to be the guide and real solver of even the practical unforeseen events that such a complex initiative inevitably brings with it. But in the end “Everything is possible for those who believe” (Mark 9:23).
Toward the Complete Symphony: Throughout 2026, the piece will develop into a complete symphonic work: an exciting musical journey that aspires to establish itself as a significant reference point in contemporary European culture.
Anima Aeterna is an ambitious cultural project conceived to transcend time and borders, officially included in the Legacy of GO! 2025. Born on the foundations of the European Capital of Culture, the project proposes itself as an innovative point of convergence among music, cinematic language and the new dynamics of social media communication, with the objective of spreading its spiritual message, conveying the cultural, artistic and gastronomic excellence of the Territory.
This project is the result of close collaboration with territorial institutions: the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and EGTC Go have been the fundamental entities that, grasping the profound essence and elegance of the work, have guaranteed the necessary support and backing for its launch. Thanks to this institutional synergy, Anima Aeterna today unites regional talents with an artistic expression of international scope, creating an ideal connection between tradition and modern multimedia languages.
The initiative, focused on the synergy between choral and orchestral resources, together with the renowned gastronomy of the Region, will see its official launch on February 7, 2026: a pivotal event that will mark the beginning of an artistic journey with a broad horizon, conceived to consolidate and expand in the years to come.
