Me
I'm Taylor. I like computers. I have done since I was a small child. Computers are the most obvious example of magic, and software development is one of the best ways to be a wizard.
Though, if we're considering D&D classes here, I've generally considered myself more of a sorcerer. I've found that my mind is good at emulating how a computer functions. I've developed the programming skills I have by smashing my face against the various things that I've wanted a computer to do until the problem gives way. I've gotten decent at it, and the bruising is mostly gone.
I work professionally as a video game tools engineer. I make the things people use to make games. Outside of my job, I'm currently working on Tangent. If you found this page, me trying to get eyeballs on that project is probably why.
I make software in my spare time because I have to. My Monkey Mind will not leave me alone otherwise. It demands that I work on whatever concept currently has grabbed my interest.
I sometimes make games myself, though not as often as I come up with grand ideas for games I will never make.
I do things other than tell computers what to do. A big chunk of those is letting a computer tell me what to do. Games are great. I do other stuff though, I swear. You'll get some of that here.
The Monkey demands it.
