Rules and Policies

We believe in free expression and user choice — but not at the expense of safety, dignity, or trust. These rules protect the community and keep UpScrolled usable for everyone. We focus on clarity and fairness, not censorship.

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Any content or conduct involving hate speech, harassment, sexual exploitation, violence, or threats will be removed, and the responsible accounts may be suspended or permanently banned.

UpScrolled Community Standards

  • Expression with Responsibility: You can share your voice freely, but not in ways that cause direct harm.
  • Transparency: We explain why actions are taken.
  • User Choice: We give you tools to filter your own feed, mute, block, and report — so you control your experience.
  • Legal & Safety Compliance: Some rules are required by law, and some are required to keep the platform safe and open.

What’s Not Allowed

  • Violence: Threats, glorification of harm, or support for terrorist/violent groups.
  • Child Exploitation: Any child sexual abuse material or grooming (zero tolerance).
  • Harassment & Hate: Bullying, targeted abuse, or attacks based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or similar traits.
  • Suicide & Self-Harm: Promotion or encouragement of suicide, eating disorders, or unsafe stunts.
  • Sexual & Adult Content: Full nudity, sexually explicit material, or sexualized depictions of minors.
  • Privacy Violations: Posting private details (addresses, IDs, financial or health data) without permission.
  • Deception & Spam: Impersonation, scams, bots, or coordinated manipulation.
  • Illegal Use: Using UpScrolled to promote crime or restricted goods/services.

Privacy

  • Private Info: Do not post someone else’s private details without consent.
  • Non-Consensual Nudity: Sharing intimate content without permission is banned.
  • Account Integrity: Hacking, stealing, or misusing accounts or data is not allowed.

Authenticity

  • No Spam or Manipulation: Don’t use bots, fake accounts, or coordinated tactics to artificially boost or bury content.
  • Civic Integrity: Don’t use the platform to interfere with elections or civic processes.
  • No Impersonation: Don’t pretend to be someone else to mislead or deceive.
  • No Deceptive Media: Don’t share manipulated or synthetic media likely to cause harm (such as deepfakes) without clear context.
  • Respect IP: Honor copyright and trademarks.

Advertising

You may not include third-party advertising, such as pre-roll video ads or sponsorship graphics, in video content on UpScrolled’s services without prior consent.

Reporting

  • In-App: Use the report button on posts, profiles, or messages.
  • Email: For urgent or complex reports, contact support@upscrolled.com (include links, screenshots, and any context).

Updates

We may update these Standards; continued use means acceptance of the latest version. Material changes will be communicated in-app or email.
