With this small pettiness out of the way, I will never personally deny Ukraine’s history and their right to exist. Ukraine and Ukrainians are certainly victims of their geography and the whims of the larger powers that surround them.
My issue is, and has always been, with this faux-superiority complex which focuses not only on falsifying their own history but minimizing and degrading of Russia’s to a point of absurdity.
Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians share a long and interwoven history, some of it is great and some of it isn’t. Rewriting this history isn’t going to change it.
