"The Truth About Hayden" is a video by theBluePuffBall. It was uploaded to YouTube on August 15, 2022. The video is meant to expose the Certified Sanji (then known as Hayden the Red Engine)[citation needed] for his behavior on Discord. At first, it would get positive reception, considering the Thomas the Tank Engine community at the time hated Hayden, but after DeadwingDork reacted to it on a live stream, theBluePuffBall and everyone else involved got heavy criticism for harassing Hayden instead of blocking him.[citation needed] The video has since then been privatised, but it is still available as a reupload to this day.[citation needed]

Why It's False

  1. To get the elephant out of the room, at the time this documentary was made, Hayden was 11 years old, making him a literal child.[citation needed] While this does not make him immune from criticism, theBluePuffBall went way too far with it when considering that he was a child, as his brain was still developing at the time.
  2. The whole drama surrounding Hayden could have been avoided if everyone who was harassing him (including theBluePuffball) just ignored and blocked him.
  3. The video has so much filler, that it takes two minutes and 24 seconds to get to the disclaimer, and eight minutes and two seconds' to get to the main reasons why Hayden is so hated.
  4. The disclaimer contradicts itself. It claims that the video is not for kids, yet still encourages kids watching "as a lesson of what NOT to do on the internet."
  5. The first thing theBluePuffBall talks about is Hayden's origins. In this part, he doxxes Hayden's last name, birth date, and location. He also used Hayden's Wikitubia page to get the information, which has a high chance of being false.
  6. False advertising: Even though it claims to be a documentary in the title, the video itself is anything but a documentary. It starts off like a film, continues as a Top 10 list and ends with a musical number. TheBluePuffBall's idea of a documentary is different from ours.
  7. Most pointers on the top 10 list are terrible:
    1. The first pointer claims that Hayden bashes opinions, even though there is little-to-no evidence to support this, with the evidence involving a screenshot of one of Hayden's posts, which does not even back up theBluePuffBall's claims, and an interview with TTTE Guy.
    2. The third pointer talks about Hayden having a sexual fetish, which is personal, and also there is nothing necessarily wrong with it.
    3. The fourth pointer points out Hayden's alleged actions towards an girl named Tangela Douglas, of which there is no proof, and it is unexplained why theBluePuffBall and Judah Hughes were allegedly even there to witness it. They also allegedly did not do anything to stop it.
      • TheBluePuffBall also uses the excuse of "it was so vile and extreme that I do not think it is up to YouTube standards" to not show any evidence, which is not an excuse.
      • Not to mention, Douglas (now known as Ross, who is a member of the Object Show community/OSC), has actually stated in the comments that she allegedly doesn't remember Hayden doing something bad to her, he was always nice to her, which means that the 4th pointer might be just false allegations.
    4. The fifth pointeer claims that Hayden "cheats the system." This means that Hayden is using subbots to get more subscribers and that he is monetized. This is despite the fact that it is highly unlikely that an 11-year-old's channel could be monetised.[citation needed]
      • Why do they think an 11-year-old knows how to buy subbots for their YouTube channel?
      • Why do they think Hayden will lose all their subs if some of their subs are subbots? Subbots cannot unsub to Hayden’s channel.
    5. The sixth pointer (and it’s also the worst one) claims that Hayden does not say thank you. When it comes to online communication, saying "thank you" is uncommon. While it is still a good thing to do, it is unrealistic to expect all people online to do it.
    6. The seventh pointer claims that Hayden identified as transgender instead of apologising, with no evidence.
    7. The eighth pointer claims that Hayden's only purpose on YouTube is to troll people, and that he just wants attention. If this is true, making an entire half-hour documentary about Hayden gives him all the attention that he wants.
      • He also puts in a clip from one of George Carlin's comedy shows with a completely different context, which is disrespectful considering that George Carlin passed away in 2008.
    8. The ninth pointer claims that Hayden hides his identity by constantly changing his username and profile picture, which is just a thing many people online do.
    9. The tenth pointer claims that Hayden "pretends to be friends" with people. The explanation of this pointer is just theBluePuffBall complaining about Hayden. He also claims that Hayden tried to make an intro for him, even though he already had an intro. It was just the TTTE[clarification needed]intro with his profile picture slapped on it, and it was made with Kapwing. He also shows off his intro, saying that he doubts Hayden's intro is better than his, even though his intro is just TTTE footage with text and a photo of him at the end, which is slightly egotistical and also likely not the case.
  8. When Hayden apologized, theBluePuffball took one of the texts in the apology video ("I did an inappropriate thing to a girl? I can't remember.") and misinterpreted it, despite it being in a question context.[citation needed]
    • Not only that, but the question context implies that Hayden probably did not even do what theBluePuffBall accused him of doing, and theBluePuffBall is probably lying about it just to make Hayden look bad.
  9. In the "Hayden's Future" part, TheBluePuffball claims that Hayden will never take his or his friends' advice, and that he will never change. He did change though, it is just that nobody gave him the time to change.[clarification and citation needed]
  10. The musical number at the end has terrible, some of which are off key and/or off beat.
  11. The audio mixing is bad, especially some of the sound effects that are plastered through in some parts of the documentary and the musical number at the end.

True Qualities

  1. After the video got privatised, theBluePuffball got into a call with Hayden and apologized to him for harassing him.[citation needed]
  2. The part where theBluePuffball says that some of the second half of reasons would go into touchy territory, and it just cuts to "Hayden forgets to say thank you" is unintentionally funny.
  3. TheBluePuffball's image choices in the second reason are also unintentionally funny.
