4 instances of IIT Delhi's Woke and Radical Activism
IIT Delhi and Ministry of Education were sleeping, until the voice of X users woke them up.
This morning, earlier at 1 am, IIT Delhi posted a clarification from their official handle. It acknowledged serious conerns raised over the quality of speaker and content at the premier institution.

"Critical Philosophy of Caste and Race" conference (Jan 16-18): Serious concerns have been raised over the choice of speakers and content of the conference. The Institute has sought an explanation from the concerned faculty, and a fact-finding committee with independent
This conference was organised by Humanities Department's Faculty Member Divya Dwivedi. This, however, is not a one-off instance of her activism. Farhnana Ibrahim (HOD, Humanities) was also present in one such conference of 2024.
We taxpayers are funding IITs to get radical and woke discourse in return.
Here are 4 instances where IIT Delhi has gone woke:

1. 2024 Conference on Critical Philosophy of Caste and Race

Penn State University Press runs a journal called Critical Philosophy of Race. It dedicated a special issue to Critical studies of caste.
Readers should not get confused with the word 'critical' here. This is not a literal criticism; but critical viewpoints from Cultural Marxists such as Antonio Gramsci and Frankfurt School of Economics.
Using critical theories only, the oppression Olympics is being played and every thing is analysed from power structure. Either you are oppressed or you are oppressive is what critical studies do.
'Critical' word is a dogwhistle to attract likeminded Social Justice Warriors for activism.
This is not a place for diverse viewpoints on caste and race; but studying caste and race by considering woke theories as absolute truth.
Here is one of the topics discussed at the conference:

2. GIAN Lecture on Critical Philosophy of Race

Ministry of Education runs the GIAN- Global Initiative of Academic Networks- initiative.
Under this initiative, the ministry expects to pull entrepreneurs and scientists internationally to teach Indian students.
IIT Delhi offered a certified course on Critical Philosophy of Race.

This course's coordinator was also Divya Dwivedi. And Robert Bernasconi, who teaches at Penn State University, was a faculty member.

3. India's Future Without Hinduism

Divya Dwivedi wants India's future without Hinduism.
article says:
During a discussion on 'India's Moment: What Stakes at Delhi G20 Summit?', Divya Dwivedi, an associate professor in the department of humanities and social sciences at IIT-D, told France 24: "There are two Indias - there is an India of the past, of the racialised caste order which oppresses the majority population... Then there is an India of the future, an egalitarian India without caste oppression, and without Hinduism. That is the India which is not yet represented but is waiting, longing to show its visage to the world."

4. Hinduism was invented in 20th Century

Yeah, not kidding. According to Divya Dwivedi, Hinduism was invented in 20th century.
article says:
“Hindu Right is the corollary of the idea that India is a Hindu majority population and this is a false majority. The Hindu religion was invented in the early 20th century in order to hide the fact that the lower caste people are the real majority of India…” Dwivedi said on the show that discussed Gandhi and politics.
These instances indicate a pattern of woke activism on the name of academics.
Ministry of Education and IIT Delhi administration were caught in deep sleep.
