So basically I do flips for fruit snacks, function as a top tier TTS bot, emit gremlin noises, and have heart attacks--then I call it a stream!

I stream VRChat, variety games, and my inevitable descent into insanity! Height is approximately two pens tall.

Personality

Filian is a very energetic streamer with a cheerful and confident personality. While a fully functioning adult,^{[note 2]} she is not above immature humor, likes playing pranks, and doesn't like taking things too seriously. She is also very clumsy, often running into walls/objects or falling over.

Filian tries to maintain a "family-friendly" image, and rarely swears^{[note 3]} and tries not to engage in lewd behavior.^{[note 4]} She is very daring, going through with ridiculous "punishments" which often involve embarrassing herself in public worlds in VRChat, ingesting undesirable combinations of food items, tweeting out self-damaging statements, and more.

Appearance

Being a VRChat streamer, Filian switches between different 3D models fairly often, but the two most used by her are Mint (also known as Lil' Fil) and Rindo (both customized to have a consistent color scheme). Filian is a cat girl with white hair of varying length depending on the model, and violet eyes. She is small in stature and has a slim body build, evident by the fact that during her first PO Box stream she was able to put on kids' size clothes.

Content

Unlike the majority of VTubers, Filian almost always streams with full body tracking, and rather than having her model mostly in one place (simulating a webcam, customary for a VTuber), she actively moves around the screen, uses interactive elements (such as VRChat games), and performs gymnastic moves. She streams from VRChat the majority of the time. Her preferred categories of content are video games and streamer challenges (such as You Laugh - You Lose, You Scream - You Lose, etc.) These streamer challenges usually entail performing a randomly selected "punishment", with some of the punishments being labeled as "jackpots", while most others are ideas from her community on Discord. However, if she herself deems a punishment too much for herself to handle, she will either bargain, cheat, find loopholes, change the rules of the punishment itself, or skip it entirely. You Laugh, You Lose is what she usually streams the most. Unlike with the rest of her content, it is guaranteed on almost every Saturday.

Before Filian gets to the main content, she likes to stall for an hour or longer, which could sometimes end up being longer than the actual main content itself. The stalling session itself at one point was even over three hours long. Such activities while stalling include unban requests, looking at the Discord, fooling around in a VRChat world, playing a browser-based game, and viewing videos either by her own accord or through chat. However, her stalling can result in the main content being cut short if she stalls long enough. Even after she's done with the main content though, instead of ending it there, she will sometimes switch categories and play some kind of game, whether it be Minecraft, a gacha game, or some other game, with some of them being sponsors.

History

Background

Filian's Twitch channel was created on 27 February 2018.

Prior to becoming a streamer, Filian simply hung out in VRChat with her friends, who eventually convinced her to start streaming. She made her first Twitch stream on 17 April 2021, a VRChat stream titled "Fruit Snack Goblin ~ Scuffed first stream!" It reached 7 viewers at peak.^[13]

On 18 July, she opened her YouTube channel,

On 8 December, upon completing her hardcore Minecraft challenge with Crelly, Vedal, and Neuro-sama, her screen started glitching and a knocking sound could be heard. The screen went black and we saw Filian running away from something. She said that she was running out of time and would be gone for a little while. She said that the Snackers would see the world. "My world#.^[29] A mysterious link was found in the glitchin. The link started what seems to be an ARG. Filian has not returned since the end of the marathon and she is presumed to be lost.

• On 30 November 2024, Filian participated in the Dokibird x Oversight Apex Custom tournament organized by Dokibird, as part of team "Catnado" along with Nekrolina and Monsoon.

• Filian's fanbase is called The Snackers, referencing her love for Welch's® Original Fruit Snacks®.

• Her favorite food is Welch's® Original Fruit Snacks®. Despite the fact that Fruit Snacks are prominently featured as emotes, sub badges and even fan-base name on Filian's channel, the company has made no attempt at having a partnership or sponsorship deal with Filian.
• Her favorite anime is Death Note, which she has quoted multiple times, especially quotes from the protagonist, Light Yagami. ("This is my perfect victory!", "I'll take a potato chip... and eat it!", etc.)

General

• Filian's default alert sound is a recording of her saying "Whenever, whenever, whenever, poggy woggy." This unusual quote was a result of Filian getting distracted by a chat message while trying to speak. The full quote is "Whenever, whenever, whenever, poggy woggy, whenever I drop them through the bottom of the world, they kill me half the time on their way down."^[37]
• One of her popular sound alerts, "TJAAAY," is also a recording of her voice. Because of this, Filian's voice is sometimes likened to that of Toad from the Super Mario franchise.
• She claims to have ADHD (self-styled as "HDMI"), which makes it hard for her to keep focus on one activity or thing at a time.

• She once set fire to her kitchen on stream by accidentally turning on her stove and burning mail that was placed on it. She used a hoodie to put it out.^[39] Days later, she ended up exploding a tire.^[40]
• She failed her driving test a few times. The first time, she got nervous at the last second and hit the accelerator instead of the break and almost destroyed the car. The second time, she missed a turn due to trying to avoid traffic.
