My take on what is clearly murder: a bunch of insufficiently-trained ICE agents dog-pile — and subdue — the victim with multiple guns drawn (why were the guns out?!). One of agents accidentally discharges his improperly-drawn gun, spooks the rest, and then they all unload in to the unarmed victim.

Entirely possible other videos will show something else/more. I think it's also possible one of the agents was pistol whipping the victim with his gun which might have caused it to go off. Unbelievably reckless; depraved indifference.
I'm not saying they need training! I'm just observing why I think these monsters had their guns drawn when they shouldn't.
Even run of the mill staties will panic and start dumping rounds when a squirrel drops a nut on their car, you can't train "dog biting you because it farted itself awake" instinct out of these morons
look i dont think a lack of training is the problem here, the existence of a fascist militia is
Eagle never said it was the problem. Stay focused on the pancakes.
They don’t need training, they need to be arrested.
They feared for their lives you see, their colleague shooting startled them so they had no choice but to shoot the prone unarmed man
At what point do people start exercising their second amendment right against the government clearly overstepping and imposing tyranny on it's own people?
These incel cunts are playing out Call of Duty. They didn’t see this man as human. He was an NPC.
I think it’s also possible they discovered the victim had a concealed carry and the agent discharged that one when grabbing it, freaking out the other agents and they started shooting. Hard to tell from that angle.
I watched the second video once, and I don't intend to watch it again. It looked like something spooked the first agent, and then he fires the first shot. I don't think it was an accidental discharge. Maybe he heard someone say that they'd found a gun, and misunderstood.
Obviously that doesn't excuse him, or anyone else involved.
I dont think training has got nothing to do with it their doing what they want because they were told they could
It's pretty simple, the goal is unrest. However they reach that is superfluous. ICE seemingly goes out of their way to cause trouble. It's not by coincidence. "Comply or die".
I respect your perspective but I don’t think any extra training would fix this.
Was he unarmed? I’m seeing that he had a gun in his waist band.
ICE agents with guns drawn for no good reason is standard operating procedure for them. I experienced this 15+ years ago.
I'd make a note of this page - www.justice.gov/crt/deprivat... - and check back every day to see if they've deleted it yet.
"There are no accidents with guns, only negligence"* -- *"...and intent" -- corollary by me
The shooter had 8 years of experience, and a whistleblower has leaked internal documents that ICE agents are being verbally instructed to ignore their formal training in at least one instance. A lack of training isn't the problem here; the point of a system is what it does.
Sorry, I am just used to my Senator proposing $10 billion in additional ICE funding in order to fix the problem of "President Trump has created a secret police force that is immune to laws."
I'm not saying they need training! I'm just observing why I think these monsters had their guns drawn when they shouldn't.
Hasn't he been identified as CBP? Just like Ross who was a trainer and Bovino, who takes instruction from the WH? Defund CBP. Training is not the issue. They don't want real training. They do not respect or understand the concept of professionalism or the rule of law that would inform training.
Law Enforcement, Immigration Agents, Border Patrol Agents, are all trained to escalate violence. The only training they lacked was the trained to not get caught on camera. Training isn't the question anymore. The entire institution needs to be demolished.
I think the mistake with bringing up the training thing here is simply that it is immaterial to the situation at hand.
I mean, yes, but also not exactly. INS didn't carry firearms. The present DHS régime is derivative of the militarization of internal police agencies in the Clinton & Bush era. It is and it was a policy to enable a kleptocracy. Trump's gang is just more reckless & greedy than the professional pols.
I thought ICE guys were always pointing guns at people just because they can. The videos always seem to show them pointing guns for no good reason. It's a wonder they don't have accidental shootings.
They’re just bullies. Emotional children who want to do violence to others!
Even got Legal Eagle jumping to the "M" word now. We all see it. Now it's a matter if there will be justice or not. But as history has taught me in America...
That is generous. Understand that they are not insufficiently trained for their dictatorial mission. They are executing the plan (and their fellow citizens). Absolutely no need for them to have drawn weapons unless that is part of their actual training/orders.
There's a zoomed in video of the incident where it looks a lot like one of the agents removes a firearm from the victim's hip. Suggesting: 1. He never took the weapon out, 2. He was unarmed when the agents opened fire.
Hello :) Its enraging to see.. More so when these Agents say crap like this “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” < You can hear it on one of the videos
I'm sorry Devin, talking about their training is really not meeting the moment and not necessary, especially since we know some of these Gestapo thugs had plenty of training like Jonathan Ross who had been in the business for over a decade
Training ain’t the problem, boss. These are white supremacists hired to do white supremacy things. The entire organization needs to be dissolved and every agent investigated for abuse of power and any crimes they committed.
