i have a lot of work left to do this week but, luckily, i am also being extremely hard on myself about it

the bus kidnapping story took me back to when i was in college in boston and constantly riding random buses to and from NYC. every time we were at a rest stop sitting there waiting for the driver to come back i'd always wonder "what if he doesn't come back?" a rogue driver never occurred to me lmao

definitely had at least one instance of the bus breaking down at a completely random place on the side of the highway and we had to just stand there on the side of the road for literal hours waiting for another bus to show up and get all of us, including the driver

genuine shout-out to fung wah for driving down the greyhound bus prices, as well as other nyc<>boston buses that were overcharging for years before fung wah was like "you will only pay $15 and you may or may not end up on a bus that catches on fire but you WILL only pay $15"
