杏林大学について

杏林大学の建学の精神は
「眞善美の探究」です。

「眞善美の探究」を通じて、優れた人格を持ち、
人のために尽くすことの出来る国際的な人材を育成することが、本学の教育理念です。

「眞」真実・真理を究めるための学問をすること。真実・真理に対して謙虚であるとともに、自ら進んで学び、研究することを意味します。

「善」倫理観を持ったよき人間性・人格を形成すること。他人に対してやさしく、思いやる心を持った人格を自ら築き、人のために尽くすことです。

「美」真理に対し謙虚に学び、人を尊重し、自らの身を持するのに厳しくあれば、自然に風格のある人?に成長していくことを意味しています。

　杏林大学は建学の精神である「眞善美の探究」のもと、学問を通じて教養を深め、他人を思いやる温かい心を持つ、個性溢れる人材を多数輩出してまいりました。また、医学部付属病院は、多摩全域において唯一の大学病院本院として、高度専門医療と救急医療の両立を図り、良き医療を提供する使命を担っております。私共は、これからも教育、研究、診療を通じて、社会に必要とされ、人の役に立つ人材育成に力を注ぐ所存です。

We produce people who are useful to others in “Pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty”

Kyorin University has produced many unique individuals who have cultivated a warm considerate heart for others and acquired culture through education based on our founding spirit, “Pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.” Kyorin University Hospital is the only main hospital in the Tama area of western Tokyo, and takes on the mission of providing quality medical care around the two axes of highly specialized medical care and emergency medical care. Through education, research, and medical care, we will continue to concentrate our efforts on developing human resources that are needed by society and useful to people.

学長挨拶

すぐれた人材を育成し、広く人類の福祉に貢献していきます

　本学は、建学の精神である「眞善美の探究」に基づき、「崇高な人類愛と高度の科学精神を基盤とするすぐれた人材の育成を目的とし、もって広く人類の福祉に貢献する」ことをその使命として掲げ、医学部、保健学部、総合政策学部、外国語学部の四学部を擁する総合大学としての地位を確立して参りました。今後とも、この使命の達成に向けて、時代とともに変わりゆく社会の要請に謙虚に耳を傾けつつ、建学の精神のもと、「大学」の本来あるべき姿を追求していきます。
