Poachers test track

The track/scenery side of the hobby, although it is very well appreciated, is not what I do. What I like to do is run my trains and to do that, I travel to Lincoln on the third Sunday of every month, to the Poachers test track at the Birchwood Scout hut (LN6 0LX). A visit to this excellent 4 road track is fully recommended and the quality of models in action every month is superb. If you appreciate quality and strive to improve your modelling skills, then being a member of a club such as the Poachers is a must in my opinion and regular members Bob, Bruce, Keith, Pete and Terry will be on hand to help or advise. All of the locos in my collection are kept in full working order and can be viewed at work at the Poachers.
