i think the idea that NRS 2019 was overrated just comes from people watching shitty jewtube video essays where they just directly compare 2018 and 2019, so they just see how different of a direction 2019 took it, the features it removed, and the initial reaction and say that means it was overrated but now that we've had many more installments, we can look back and see that NRS 2019 was exactly what the series needed to feel fresh again
