I've been having a lot of fun with the game thus far, and I have high hopes for Hytale in the future. In an age where Modern Minecraft is so utterly shit, we need a new breath of fresh air to provide us with a new voxel game, to start with a blank slate. So far, nothing has gone wrong, you can play anarchy servers and say nigger, it's an ungoyified game, not a troonslop game. You can even mod it to do whatever you want with it.
The server experience is basically the closest thing you'll ever get to early Minecraft, because the game is definitely in an early state. The game has a shit ton of polish, but the servers are a bit rough around the edges and I love that. I feel like I'm experiencing Minecraft for the first time again and that's all I ever wanted.

Minecraft used to be a good game, but now is a shit game owned by a shitty jew company. The newer versions are completely zogged, and you're not even allowed to have servers like 2b2t anymore, Mojangs Enforcers are out to get you for just about anything that "tarnishes the Minecraft brand"
Some mods for MC are good, but overall the game sucks, older versions crash on certain mods and use up a shit ton of memory. Hytale is fast and compiled directly to machine code, but that makes cheating harder, as you need to write an inject or use gameconqueror, so I haven't even bothered for anarchy servers because I'm having fun just playing, don't need hacks.
