Two robotic characters with glowing eyes and hats appear under rain in a stylized comic book cover titled "Murder Drones #3" by Wyatt Kennedy and Jo Mi-Gyeong.

In September of 2025, we had the opportunity to talk to talented writer Wyatt Kennedy about his Glitch Productions/Oni Press comic book adaptation of Liam Vickers Murder Drones. After completing an extremely successful Kickstarter Campaign, Murder Drones Issue #1 is coming to stands in February.

Wyatt: I’m incredibly grateful to Oni and Glitch for being able to work on such an interesting and exciting project, and I hope that fans of the series will love the final result!

However, Glitch and Oni Press are focused on getting the word out as quickly and as widely as possible about this exciting new collaboration. In advance of that, thanks to the good people at Oni Press and Glitch, our fans are getting this exclusive sneak peek of the covers for Issue#3. Cover A by Alessio Zonno,  Cover B by Jo Mi-Gyeong (along with the full art cover), and a variant cover by Patricia Martin. Murder Drones, Issue #3, releases on April 22nd.

Cover of "Murder Drones" Issue #3 featuring four robot characters with glowing eyes in a dynamic action scene, set against a dark, futuristic background.

    Issue# 3

Where might a worker drone go to get away from it all? A wilderness getaway on the uninhabitable surface of Copper-9, complete with murderous councilors, hurricane force winds, and other “distractions”! As Uzi and her classmates  set up camp in this little slice of paradise, the unseen force which has been systematically killing and eating the drone population makes short work of the other campers, and as Uzi discovers, the killer is much closer than she realized!

If you are a fan of Murder Drones, be sure to check out Issue 1, coming to stands next month by Glitch and Oni Press.
