Mydas Moros is a third year and the Vice Housewarden of Ignihyde! Born the child of two absent high-up S.T.Y.X. employees, Mydas was assigned to be Idia’s playmate after Orthos untimely death. The Moros family has worked under the Shroud family for generations, never leaving the Isle of Woe and dedicating all their time, talents, and treasures to S.T.Y.X.. This meant it was only natural for them to volunteer Mydas to placate Idia, without even asking Mydas what he wanted. Being the same age and into many of the same things, the pair grew close while also growing to resent each other for what they represented in their lives. For Idia, his regrets and his failures. For Mydas, his lack of choice and freedom. Their bond became tighter and tighter as they spent endless hours together, bringing out the best AND the worst in each other.

After graduation, Mydas is expected to skip his internship and return home to train under his parents to continue working at S.T.Y.X., doomed to live in the Isle of Woe forever doing a job he hates with people he hates. He feels as if his soul is sold, trapped to work for the Shrouds until he dies. Throughout his time at NRC (which he only attended because Idia attended) he’s been slowly hatching a plan to escape. He’s saving up money through odd jobs and VTuber streaming so that he can run away on the last day of third year and never return.

His plan seems solid, and he knows what he wants, but there’s only one thing holding him back: Idia. His lifelong friend, his biggest annoyance, his childhood crush, and the first person to treat him like a human. Will he leave everything he knows and loves behind to try to build a life of his own? Can he convince Idia to come with him? Or will Idia convince him to stay?
