    I don't recommend offering, seeking or accepting invites anywhere "public"

    1) offering invites in "public" is a bannable offense on a large % of private trackers

    2) you don't really know who your inviter/invitee is, if they get banned you could end up getting banned too

    3) using public invite forums is often a bannable offense, even having an account can red-flag you

    I recommend the the What.cd interview (study study study) > pu+ > internal invite-forums > PTP/etc

    Recruitment from T-I is put on hold. Try from a reputable tracker's PU forums (what.cd, BTN, AHD, etc)

    You guys do know that many good users, tracker staffers and even a couple of tracker sysops started out at Torrent-Invites.

    But I fully agree that bad users should be banned globally. Membership at T-I does not automatically mean that a guy is a bad user. Most trackers understand that and won't ban you unless you are scum. But there are some trackers that will immediately ban you for being a T-I member. One of that site has Registered Users 9,700+ and Disabled Users 14,000.

    I would hope nobody goes off the rails and starts banning matching IPs/emails since it would entail getting tons of innocent people along with the guilty. People falsely accused tend to want to spite those who burned them.

      /r/trackers respects do not traffic requests (see the no movement list on http://www.reddit.com/r/trackers/comments/1rfvup/consolidated_invite_thread/?sort=new).

      And no one (yet) is trying to sell it for $50,000.

      /r/trackers is a subreddit, not a site, and nobody 'runs' it. It is entirely community based and moderated by actual tracker staffers.

      I've personally perused their seedbox setup guides which are fairly thorough compared to other places and sometimes their reviews of trackers are pretty good too. Although I do understand that they aren't exactly liked within the community.

      Yes, because they bring trouble among the community. They aren't liked because they exist solely as a way to get into trackers against the rules. I know disliking them isn't a popular opinion here, but they've really earned it. They're weasels who will try to twist words to make it sound like they're in the letter of the rules while they're really pissing all over the spirit of them. So no, I don't like them.

      I am assuming FTN purchased/accessed the user database. Care to give an account of how many accounts got banned from your site? I also find this tactic disgusting and as you 'as a representative of FTN', like this, I can only assume you want the sites database hacked/sold and made public. I was one of the accounts deleted I had never given away any invites on Torrent-Invites and had been an account owner on FTN since its inception so cheers for that.
