I go next to the washing machine

The great big asterisk that dangles off every post I've made critiquing Lorch's work.

* Is this really the content that makes everything she's done okay?

I'm an absolute shitter to my core, I know this. Though as much as I love treating her as the joke that she is, sometimes you do gotta be serious. I'd never be caught dead participating in this double think where Lily is both a threat to everyone and a self-important goober spinning her wheels, though a threat to a few she certainly is.

I'm about done pulling punches, so if you want to see me pop the lid off my cool, do please read past the cut.

Anthony Gramuglia refused to call out TactikalTemplar for supporting the Klu Klux Klan which was from a edited post of a Frieren art of Frieren about to do justice to a Klu Klux Klan member then TactikalTemplar reedited it poorly with a LGBT flag in place at his Templarsvoice twitter account. Showing TactikalTemplar would rather the entire planet be getting rid of the LGBT community like the fascist piece of shit and racist apologist TactikalTemplar is. Anthony Gramuglia refuses to address incidents like The Tulsa Race massacre and it would have shamed TactikalTemplar and exposing him like the hypocritical christian he is protecting those KKK terrorists. I think Anthony Gramuglia is just trying to farm engagement than solving our problems against grifters, racist bigots, transphobes, and homophobes. TactikalTemplar's account Templarsvoice got suspended from twitter for his violent fascist nazi 1984 opinions.

That sure is a situation. While I do agree this Tactical Templar guy probably needs a good shitcanning. I am very much only now hearing about this. From a little search, I see Ant has debated this guy... Fuck, I guess it might be something of a fuax pas to just call your debate partner a white supremacist and move on??? Well I hope he gives us an answer, because refusal to fuckin go in on a Klansman ain't a good look.

If you were to make Lorch as a DnD character (in 5e or otherwise) in a campaign to RP as, what would her character sheet be like?

Depends. If it was based on how she perceives herself, it would be 20's down the board with proficiency in everything.

Though to treat a shitpost a little too seriously for the lols. Half-elf bard with int-dex as top stats, str-cha as mid stats, and wis-con as dump stats. A key thing I will bang on about how I see her is that she is smart but not flexible in the knowledge ergo high int and low wis. Otherwise, the bit where charisma is a 10 is simple enough I won't explain it.

I'll be leaving it there, though. As picking up my books to find colleges and map level progression is more than I am willing to do when mediocre bard with a complex already says far more than enough.

oblivionbladetdAnonymous asked:Don't forget that Lev's spaceship deal included putting in a good word with those Elders to allow the spacer to settle on the station which is now like a) why is a good word even needed when the station is getting a ship and labor and/or genetic diversity out of the deal, all things it badly needs, b) why does Lev's word trade for jack shit with a leadership group he holds in such contempt that this negotiation apparently would have gone "if you don't let this guy sell me this ship so I can take my sister and leave, I'll snap you all like the geriatric twigs you are"I did forget it was 112 potatoes AND a good word. Though looking at how Lily worded her explanation recently, I think she did, too.All in all, it really doesn't rattle my argument. They seem both unimportant but also very important. It's the mixed messaging that if I were to be frank, it probably wouldn't get cut, Should ol' Lorch actually be doing more than 1 draft anyway. Also, I won't complain at more evidence that Kestri and Lev are psychopaths. They said yes, but if they changed their minds, it's time to ice old men! YIPPEE!Lastly. Yes, I did the math, assuming they are limited to a roughly 1200 calorie a day diet for two weeks with the calories of a potato rounding out to about 150 on average for a medium potato. Boom 112 potatoes. oblivionbladetdSo... rather than talking to these venerated Elders, they'd just beat them up for being in the way? Classy.Like I said, patch one hole, and the pressure differential blows open more. This one, I will admit, isn't the worst... but it's one of very many quibbles that leaves shit looking like a screen door. Though just to get it out of the way, Elders allow misogyny but have no power anyway haha!Though trust me, that's not the end of it, or even my main problem.Culturally speaking, Elders are revered for their wisdom, especially before the modern age, in a time where living that long was genuinely rare and the wisdom you got from living so long would be unfathomable to a youngin learning everything the hard way.Given that they are actively referred to as the elders, that sticks their leadership merit on their age.... Why is there only A GUY watching out for them??? They can't whip up ANY support to keep one of their SUPER FINITE SHIPS UNDER SCOTIA ALPHA CONTROL??? Forget that they would have to go alone to physically stop Servant and Kestri from fucking off with a clapped out, but still irreplaceable bit of machinery...The fuckin cop metric was all I needed to hear to know what this really is. It's a commentary on these aging career politicians making the system worse with each year as they slowly lose their fucking minds to old age. The thing is, they are kept in office by a cabal of third parties that specifically benefit from them being part of the government, who will pay top dollar for golden speeches they can read off and smear campaigns on their opponents so damning that it could make Christians give up on Jesus. THESE SYSTEMS DO NOT EXIST IN Into The Void! Like yes, Lily, I am real fucking sure you could beat the brakes off of Donald Trump if he had none of the measures that keep him safe from terror, both domestic and international, if the medical speculations are true he's likely to choke to death on his own drool, if you couldn't beat him up that's just sad.The Elders are JUST OLD. They don't seem to be elected or part of a succession. They might allow corruption but are not fully beholden to corrupt third parties like politicians today. In context, this has the sister and her cultist just assault old people for being old and a minor inconvenience. Honestly, it seems more like a mean-spirited jab in the sides of cultures that hold reverence to the long-lived community members. MAN, I sure hope she doesn't consider herself part of a culture that does this. The more things don't change.... I don't remember that quote. Is that her talking about Tales of Valkyr? Cause I mean, shoe still fits anyway. You are right. The power to make procrastination feel productive is THE pure uncut Columbian cocaine of the creative process. You're filling out the world! How could that ever be a waste of time!... in a story like Into the Void, which isn't about the greater whole of the fictional universe? It's an easy bake oven that churns out wasted time like an m60 loaded with faux-productivity!Like I've said before, she either uses none of it, and I get to be right about her wasting time trying to flex how smart she is... or she does find a way to pack all in and we have a full novel of, and please pardon my crudeness and possible insensitivity, two retro-futurist space hippies openly guffawing at the barbaric lives of the literally us in the here and now. Sorry for not being oceanic levels of moist at either prospect, Lily.Lastly, and I can not say it enough, She does know better. She goes after creators for it all the damn time. She has multiple tips against doing it. She knows the drugs are bad, and you should NEVER EVER DO IT FOR ANY REASON!!! oblivionbladetdAnonymous asked:Agreed, CD hasn't lost her grip on reality, she just has a very myopic view on it and an aversion to study that goes deeper than reading Wiki articles or Reddit discussions. She's chronically online and doesn't socialize much outside her own community. She literally keeps dating fans? Bragged about how she lost her one public-facing job almost immediately because she couldn't not be a rude shithead to her own coworkers? This is not a person with a grounded adult understanding of people, politics, or history.100%, though I feel I must add that just writing her off as just a crazy bitch living in a separate reality really only serves to minimize in a very unhelpful and potentially harmful way.For example, I'd never sincerely critique Sonichu, as it is in every way the fantasy of a woman with a grip on reality that is tenuous at best. Anything there is to say is quite easily covered under the umbrella that Chris-Chan is too far gone to truly know better. Lily displays frequently that she does indeed know better but chooses not to be better for the many reasons my anonymous friend here has said.On a more serious note to dismiss Lily as just crazy absolutely minimizes the effect she's had on many vulnerable people. As much as I detest the double thought that Lily is both a laughing stock and a dire threat, though I will also acknowledge that I live well outside of the people she preys on. As intelligent as she isn't, she is smart, certainly smart enough to manipulate vulnerable people in bad situations, be these bad home or life sitations, or simply just finding a rare voice you have common ground with. She spends a lot of time maintaining an image that she is smart and her enemies are just too dumb to ever even interact with, from cropping asks to deleting comments on YouTube, she knows she has to keep that mask of being the last word. She knows that she has to build up those that question and those who leave to be disloyal. If you see past these masks, it is hard to go back, but she's not after you anymore. It's why while I will indulge in being mean for the sake of it like the not great person I am, I will always try and find a lesson to be learned, a way to turn knowing into understanding. As the greatest weapon against her is understanding her. If anybody reading takes nothing else away from this, it is that while Lily may be uncurious, behind the times, and myopic to the point of near parody! She has never, at any point, been unaware of what she is doing... and I would never do the people she has hurt the sheer indignity of pretending for even a second that she is even a little unaware.#lily orchard#lily peet#lily orchard critical#cd call#cd call critical#lily orchard is an abuser16
oblivionbladetdAnonymous asked:What are some of the most telltale signs in Lorch's works that her sense of reality isn't what it used to be beyond her views on inflation? In a world where Chris-chan is... well, Chris-chan... I struggle to cosign that Lily has lost the plot on reality. More just isn't in tune with people in a general sense. She's a violent narcissist who managed to form a cult of personality. Not a person that screams of dimensional merges where she is god-queen of all the land. She is somebody who thinks they know it all and will deny having been wrong ever as a way to save face rather than just not being in sync with reality. That being said. Her character writing. While I reiterate that she isn't living in a separate reality than us, her character writing is packed to bursting with the kinds of actions and dialog of somebody that has a rough approximation of how people talk and interact, but JUST misses the mark.... I mean, she puts a lot of effort into controlling her community. Though I think to just say she sucks and that's that doesn't leave a lot of room to learn or even be a satisfying answer. So let me break it down. Now, let me actually explain. Just thought we'd have a little fun before the depression that is Lily.Keep readingishtanyaDid you just thought for a moment that the worldbuilding could carry a message inherently? A bleak and depressive message, but CD likes to write bleak things sometimes.First, the Canzuk alliance take Earth but can't save it.... yeah, that's the realistic and logical outcome 😅If we managed to take back all governments and corporations right now and made them stop polluting immediately, according to most climate models Earth would already be damaged beyond repair and would suffer from the consequences of our negligence for decades if not centuries. Now if a coalition of weak countries managed in a nearish future to wrestle global control from the US and allies and were in charge, they would face an even worst situation than now and would probably be fucked yeah. That is a plausible scenario, climate restoration and depolluting don't happen in a blink of an eye. You seem to have a very childish and simplistic view of how the world works, all actions have inertia, the more complex an action, the more inertia it has.As for the next worlds, I confess I've usually skipped that part of the world-building but "Mankind was saved to ends up not learning from their mistakes and repeating them" is a classic trope of sci-fi, I don't understand why you're surprised 😅As for Heaven's Gate and Nova Scotia, you seem to think that christians are the only misogynistic patriarchal humans on Earth, have you read about other cultures? Like, at all? 😅Misogyny is a worldwide phenomena, and it was not better in previous epochs, the current state of women's rights is one of the best of all human history.... and what CD describe on Nova Scotia or Heaven's Gate could totally happen in our society 😅Now I'll grant you one point, I find the way people are able to freely leave the station to the point of depopulating it a bit far-fetched, but that's far from the worst plothole I've ever read in sci-fi 😅oblivionbladetdI in fact did just thought for even a few moments. The problem is that the inherent message is muddy and, at times, incoherent. I would not argue it's all just not possible. It's the fact that it peaks and dips at near 90-degree angles. It's half fix-it-fic, and the other half is so much proof that it wasn't worth fixing in the first place. In ways that I don't have faith that Lily would be on that 5-d chess shit to actually pull off. I'll just put it like this. We'll just go ahead and say that despite everything saying otherwise, the Lore is fuckin ATOM tight. There's no weird bits like a guy getting a comedy Emmy for... Murdering several world leaders... no, just murdering several world leaders, not even in funny ways. Sorry, I got distracted. As I was saying, we'll just pretend it's all flawless and thoroughly researched.Okay, why?Deadass for what reason do we need it? Why do we have an on the nose reference to a Christian extremist group when there are none? Then they name the remains after the Hebrew true name of God??? Above all that, what in the fuck does any of this directly have to do with Lev and Kestri??? The implications being this is either like using the Horus Heresy as background details of peppa pig, or that the two talk about it all at length to kill time. The latter opening the holes even wider since that implies that the fall of Earth is not only well documented but well circulated enough that even these societal pariahs consider it casual conversation. (There is the possibility that Kestri knows and collects the knowledge and lectures it to lev to his disbelief, but that is so pretentious it hurts, and we are in the spirit of giving Lily too much credit today)The best case scenarios as I see it, is that the lore is bad because it's almost entirely worthless, or the lore is bad because it is the main ingredient in a cake that's 99% frosting. Either doomed to not be part of the story or absolutely tortured into it. Again, it's bad even if this lore was tungsten solid. As it actually sits, the inherent message is that even with everything supposedly going right, humanity is utterly and irreversibly doomed, and this is going to be a novel about two sociopaths laugh at how doomed it is like they aren't part of it... I can already feel my money struggling to stay in my wallet.Like always, if it was just Lily barfing her thoughts out as is usual, I probably wouldn't be as harsh. She's made it clear that she intends to write a full novel of this that she'd expect payment for. I will not apologize for having standards and saying it isn't worth a cent. People, you are 1000% incentivizing pirates to sell you the children of their murder victims as future breeding stock.(In b4 Lily huffily defends this system with some weaksauce blather about the fact children would obviously be able to identify their parents' murderers and stations wouldn't pay in that case!!! Because in Lily's universe humanity has just randomly stopped committing distasteful atrocities, despite the extreme conditions.)((Ironically this DOES create conditions that could explain respawned sexism with an emphasis on the breeding stock issue, but that drives the written social response to it even deeper into the realms of surreality. Pregnancy is not exactly easy on the body and tiny humans need care as well, so theoretically more manpower = more opportunity for babies???But I guess the incestuous duo has to get a child to play house with somehowI fuckin suppose. Isn't the population hurting like, everywhere? How many is significant in this context? Maybe, just maybe, giving that much thought into shit that effectively doesn't matter backfired. Though who knows? Maybe Lily will screenshot me again and let us know.Now. I will confess... As much as I tell people not to, I do frequently try to think of ways to fix Lily's shit. Mostly, I have a physically demanding but mentally understimulating job. Even as I do this, I quite often find myself at a critical junction... I just end up thinking up something barely related because that's always easier than trying to repair a ship that spontaneously grows new holes when you think about patching one. In the end, I only kept the basic premise at the beginning of "escaping" a station, the population crisis, and a few names. Namely, I overhauled Heaven Gate, so it's worse. Where the women are only expected to make kids, but live in what is at a glance an ideal little communal area, ergo why they call it heaven's gate. In reality, the station does treat them like cattle and will just quietly disappear anyone who isn't making more kids for one reason or another. Classic gilded cage shit, but no less potent for it. Have a pair of sisters basically pulling off a jailbreak because nobody in a naturally misogynistic scenario would even spare a thought that they could until they're most of the way through actually doing it? Damn near writes itself. I mean sure maybe some dickhead will go "You made this like this? It your fetish or something?" Though such is the price of not looking like I'm writing children running from mild inconvenience. Give your characters something to actually run from... at this point even saying it's inspired by Lily is a bridge too far, if anything I took more from The Giver, what with this supposedly ideal society actually being quite awful once you get a peek beyond the veneer.Anyway, thank you for coming to my Ted talk about how the least interesting thing in Lily's stories is the actual story.#lily orchard#lily peet#lily orchard is a bad writer#lily orchard is a bad critic#lily orchard critical#cd call#cd call critical#cd call is a bad writer#into the void8

Which I guess she still has in Void what with the world ending wars, but it's even fainter background noise than usual. Then again her current drum to beat is that abuse is boring (a sliver of truth hidden within - real life abuse often has more mundanity to it than narrative abuse) and Void is already a transparent stitching together of Lily's Disjointed Personal Beliefs. But if that's as far as she wants to go then she should have just stuck with the RV setting you suggested.I hear you there. I haven't read Tales of Valkyr or her other various works of yesteryear. Have no plans to, but I often hear how wrought with bloody revenge they are. I mean... shit I don't know if I'd even say it's a weird patchwork of personal beliefs. I think it's these pings of self-awareness, which leaves her scared. Like, "I'll make the men pigs, but I don’t want people saying I have a fetish, so I won't let them assault the women" type shit. Which ironically doesn't help the incest subtext, but I'll give her benefit of the doubt in that it's incompetence rather than intent. oblivionbladetdAnonymous asked:"Your stalkers are so weird, now they're upset that into the void doesn't force Lev and Kestri to stay on the station and reproduce..."Yeah, it's easy to get our arguments shot down as 'weird' when you feed Lily a complete misreading of them. Please. 'Into the Void' is not an individual. It can't do anything.In-universe, it strains belief that the station is so overflowing with re-budded misogyny that they're experiencing a critical drop in population because apparently half the population hates these 'policies' that their would-be oppressors can't even enforce, and neither half of the population is doing anything meaningful about any of it.Thematically, it's weird that Lev and Kestri seem wholly indifferent to their place in opting out of their failing station on a micro level and the struggling continuation of humankind on a macro - I wouldn't expect them to 'stay and reproduce', but some self-awareness about the implications of their choice and how it reflects their personal philosophies would add depth to their flat-ass characters, including how them later adopting a kid does or doesn't change those beliefs. But no, give us more paragraphs about Lev inventing space pizza, because that's gripping.Out of universe, it's painfully obvious that Lily's entire frame of reference for social ostracism is 'being bullied in high school'.It really is just that. In the micro and macro, the ease with which the siblings leave just opens up a lot of questions that start tanking any immersion without answers.Let me put it like this. The station is heavily patriarchal, but it's all talk. You can leave for a pile of spuds that is comically large for one person but comically small for a ship. It is fuckloads of wind-up only for them to drop their arm the very second the fist to swing forward. A joke with the nastiest, raunchiest, longest set-up, only for them to stand stock still and silent, as if offended we'd demand they finish the joke. With this wobbly wobbly lore, we have problems in-universe. Nothing is QUITE bad enough... So, it makes the characters look bad. The women seem unbelievably shallow if they'd swear off men who never go beyond being mildly sexist, compounded by dire lore. The men also seem like whimpy simps for only using words when the setting is dire enough that they could feasibly justify force. Of course, the creme de la crap of it all is both Lev and Kestri seem both especially stupid and like sociopaths for giving up this little post-post-post apocalyptic relative PARADISE for.... crude words and a single case of "bad" touch. Things have become somewhat inconvenient. I guess the human race was a waste, time to fuck off forever lmao! She put in all the right shit to really cook with gas!...but seems to be terrified of lighting the fire. Then we notice out of universe, we see the hand, nothing seems natural, we see Lily's hand making it all horrible, but also not so bad anything Is like, offensive or "too far". On every conceivable level it's got its fangs bared, but it has no fucking teeth. It's like she's afraid that a step too far to make a point would have people claim she's into it... so at least we know she hears herself talk sometimes. It is just the work of somebody who peaked at 14. Who thinks a mean note and public shunning keeps humanity's worst in lock step, and that people being shitty to you is just the fucking worst. A child in their dad's three piece suit who has heard of grown-up problems but never once internalized them. If I didn't know better, I'd feel awful, for this is just so painfully childish in its execution. Especially looking at where it's all supposed to go towards... all this wishy washy bullshit for???.... Lev and Kestri to make space pizza... it's like Lily 5 year old self and her fourteen year old self have a scheduled writing rotation. She wanted a fluff piece and a space epic and managed to mangle the two, so all of its worst traits are front and center.#lily orchard#lily peet#lily orchard is a bad writer#lily orchard is a bad critic#lily orchard critical#cd call#cd call critical#cd call is a bad writer#into the void24

There's an insidious social crisis contracting their population to a dangerous degree and fucking off isn't forbidden or particularly difficult to do, and space transport ISN'T a hot commodity? There's literally a food shortage because they don't have enough people to run all their hydroponics, and space transport ISN'T a hot commodity? The station is on the brink of quiet boring collapse...and space transport to go literally anywhere else ISN'T a hot commodity?I got one other thing to answer. But this is older and will be part of that one, so here goes. Absofuckinlutely. It is just a comically low price for astronomic value! And it's not like nobody knows there are other stations. In fact, if other stations have hydroponics, then why wouldn't they just steal away those fed up with Alpha-bama here and take them for boosts to their own space station?Do the women just want to stay to shun the men because they can rub sloppy lesbian make outs in their faces??? That sounds stupid and childish BUT THE SHOES FITS TOO WELL WITH ALL THE OTHER BRAINDEAD BITS....#lily orchard#lily peet#lily orchard is a bad writer#lily orchard is a bad critic#lily orchard critical#cd call#cd call critical#cd call is a bad writer#into the void5
oblivionbladetdAnonymous asked:I could accept patriarchy re-spawning in a futuristic setting with the right justifications, even if it's just 'desperate people romanticizing a shallow understanding of ancient outdated traditions'. The big hole for me is that patriarchal systems endure even today because they promise significant benefits, like power, property, and social credit. People fight for the structure because the structure works for them.Meanwhile Lily's written a shrinking station where patriarchy is growing - like a mold, yes - despite it being socially punished. For generations! Even the slutty mean girls of Kestri's generation don't want to knock boots with the chauvinists. So what is the basis for this sexism? There's no capitalism according to Lily, romantic relationships aren't needed for legal or social credit, there's supposedly a huge emphasis on community because togetherness is necessary for survival meaning every human should be valued, the corpse of Heaven's Gate is hanging around as its own absurd warning - how has it gotten so bad that all the women are on social strike? Are there no women Elders to help correct the system at a political level? Why?Whatever. Stick it to the incels, I guess, at the cost of your setting being able to get a coherent message out around its own slack-jawed drooling brothers and sisters with simply no other choice but to be driven into each other's arms.I am right there with you. Some googling brought me to the understanding that while there is no universally agreed upon "cause of patriarchy," with some signs that modern patriarchy started as early as AGRICULTURE. For those who don't just know this stuff, we are talking 10,000 BC. It's not impossible for it to crop up in a vacuum (lol), but to the degree that it actively interferes with repopulation? Really though I remember back years ago where I'd tell Lily she'd get away with a fucking lot if she wasn't fucking frothing to make sure nobody else got the last laugh. With stuff like the Joon video and a wombo combo from Sai, Antgr, and Crim a while back... way too late now. So why not grab the wounds with a white-knuckled grip? It's too late not to bleed now. oblivionbladetdAnonymous asked:It's hideous! We're down to 18 fertile girls on the station, but the elders won't fix the situation because they are gross pig men who see no issues with patriarchal entitlement, though exactly what men are entitled to is a mystery since no one is obliged to do anything with them or, as you say, even forbidden from just booking it off the entire station. Just incredible work."they thought she could give them a good word like she was a reference on an old world resume" tfw the gaps in your worldbuilding are so huge you're resorting to the exact same similes you'd use in a modern setting, but with 'old world' slapped on front. At least she flinched and didn't make me look at a brother sincerely asking his sister if they're mates.Oh, naw. It's like actually that bad. I looked up to see if metrics exist and they do! It's called the 50/500 rule. Basically, the minimum number for keeping genetic diversity in a population that would be sent out to populate a new world, 50 being the minimum to stop inbreeding in the short term (relative to multiple generations of people) with 500 being the minimum for zero issues. Some have argued that these figures account for selective breeding and not random, so real figures with the stations' hands off model would be 500/5000... not accounting for the elderly Scotia Alpha would have a breeding pool of.... 150, seeing as it has declining birth rates. So yeah. While Kestri, being a womb haver, is a huge loss. Lev is so important to this struggling gene pool that losing him is also downright abysmal to the stations long term survival! GIF by rikudoesstuffWe'll just conveniently ignore that by all logic, Lily assumes that oppressive and openly sexist patriarchies just grows wherever there's enough moisture and food crumbs, like a mold. Instead of being products of power systems backed over hundreds if not thousands of years (all of which by all rights should have died with earth), but I'm just a shitposter, what do I know?Speaking of shitposting! I think the tortured "old-world" bits are her way of remembering that this is set in space. Axe the combination over and underbaked worldbuilding and this could take place TODAY in an RV.Though, if we want to talk about truly massive Lore holes. One hole I noticed from a careless tumblr post that there are stations that do HRT. Which in a non dire setting is actually quite cool and based. No notes. Unfortunately, this is a dire setting. Like, unless 3d printing hormones comes at little to no cost, wouldn't they prioritize making medicines for otherwise healthy and actively reproducing people, not cranking out hormones and letting people who could very well be making more people damn near sanitize themselves for comfort? Which I know is a very extreme way to say that, but being a transmasc or transfem in Into the Void would not just work like it does in our modern day unless I as a cis man have missed something... which now having said that out loud, I'm open to the notion that I probably have and welcome others' opinions on the matter. If it is the former.... I mean, I'm not an omni-disciplined super scientific wizard, but if you can mass produce these hormones with that much ease, we are rubbing up on just as easy genetic engineering... which I feel I don't need to go at length on how hard that invalidates the problems of this setting. Also I had an invasive thought writing that last bit, a crew of trans people that got tired of being left to suffer in silence hedging their bets as space outlaws making their own black market HRT sounds a million percent more interesting than plausible deniability space incest... then again, watching paint dry is also more interesting than plausible deniability space incest. I shall leave the public to decide if my invasive thought is cool or not too.#lily orchard#lily peet#lily orchard is a bad writer#lily orchard is a bad critic#lily orchard critical#cd call#cd call critical#cd call is a bad writer#into the void23
oblivionbladetdAnonymous asked:Tell me if this helps at all: Those to have experienced a decline since getting involved in Pokémadhouse or others from the same maker such as buying any merch thereof, career or otherwise. Basically, touching the poopAh... that was the other thing I thought you meant... well, I do know one. Now, to preface, I do not keep up with a lot of buzz around Lily's fics. Stemming from my own personal beliefs, there is no specific tweak that will fix any of Lily's fics. While I do believe that they COULD be fixed with enough skill and effort, I do not think they SHOULD. Lily's fics are transparently masturbatory, and to torture this metaphor, trying to fix her fics are trying to get rid of the smell of the crusty rags without washing them or getting new rags. Impossible? No. But for the love of all that is good, why would you want to???Which leads me to Bonnie's Day Out... While I personally am unaffected by its existence. I've seen why people don't like it, especially on the grounds it's a fix-it-fic for what is very inseparably a tale of justifying and excusing rape...That's some next level YIKES, and i can't blame anyone who is offended or sickened by attempts to quote "make it better", even if I do think there is no malice on the author's part. My advice to her and any others who try to rewrite Lily's work. Your efforts are always better spent elsewhere. Every time.
