A MAN charged with killing his girlfriend and her son is awaiting trial for murder.

Alex George, aged 31, is said to have stabbed Anita Ings, 47, and Gavin Ings, 25, and killed their dog in July last year.

The bodies of the mother and son, who were living at Coxwell Road, Plumstead, where the attack took place, were found by police officers.

George, of Coxwell Road, did not enter a plea during the hearing and will reappear at the Old Bailey on March 4 when psychiatric reports will have been prepared.
