What McKinsey Can Learn From MAGA
Learn from the barbarians at the gates.

The New Right intelligentsia, a group that is both larger and more interesting than centrists imagine, delights in a mocking question: Do you know what time it is? By which they mean: Do you realize (like them) that we live in a world of combustible geopolitics in which raw power reigns supreme? Or do you still live in the old world of liberal pieties about the rule of law and free trade?
MAGA intellectuals are too willing to use the idea of new times to justify everything that strongmen, particularly Donald Trump, deem to be convenient. But they have a point: Far too many establishment figures, cocooned in their tenured jobs and surrounded by like-minded professionals, have failed to recognize that the rules of the world have changed.
