I will be taking the night off. There is a protest tonight at Henry Whipple Building (every day/night) however I need to rest for the remainder of the week/weekend. I will continue covering the ICE raids bright and early tomorrow and theres a veteran-led protest at noon at the Whipple Building. I appreciate all the love and support I’ve been receiving. I couldn’t do it without the support of my community ❤️

We'll look for other coverage - you're going to want to get your gear together for the waterpark party they're gonna throw us once it's colder. You do not want to be wet in that.

Here screaming for all of us tonight! They swarmed us in riot gear with the lamest show of intimidation that I've ever seen just to retreat. 50% of them looked barely 20yo. Tax payer dance recital... and it wasn't even good

An insight into how social media is rotting people's brains: In new NHK polling, only 8% of Japanese voters on average think "policies concerning foreigners" (green) was a top gov concern. That number hits a whopping 17% among voters aged 18 to 39.

When asked to select the top priority for the Takaichi Cabinet this year from six options, respondents chose countermeasures against rising prices at 45%, foreign affairs and security at 16%, social security and measures against the declining birthrate at 13%, issues concerning politics and money at 10%, policies concerning foreigners at 8%, and constitutional revision at 2%.
Text in Japanese from NHK: 高市内閣に、ことし最優先で取り組んでほしいことを年代別で見ますと、すべての年代で「物価高対策」が最も高く、50代以上では50%前後に上りました。

一方、「社会保障・少子化対策」は50代以上では10%前後だったのに対し、40代以下では23%と、より高くなっています。

[...trimmed]

Translation (auto): Looking at the top priorities for the Takaichi Cabinet this year by age group, “countermeasures against rising prices” ranked highest across all age groups, reaching around 50% among those aged 50 and above.

Meanwhile, “social security and measures against the declining birthrate” stood at around 10% among those aged 50 and above, but was higher at 23% among those aged 40 and below.

Additionally, “policies concerning foreigners” was less than 10% among those aged 60 and above and around 10% among those in their 40s and 50s, but reached 17% among those in their 30s and below, higher than other age groups.

(*Note: For segmented analysis, the number of respondents in each segment is generally set at 100 or more as a guideline.)
