East Asian men have been totally overlooked in all these DEI, race equality conversations. The best manager I ever had was a Korean guy. He ran out team efficiently, morale was high and we constantly outperformed every other team. when his boss left, we all thought he would easily get in there as did folks from other teams but it went to a white woman who had less experience and middling performance level. half her team hated her. a decent chunk of good people left after that. she ended up trying to sue the company for discrimination because some of her subordinates complained that she was throwing them under the bus, even in front of clients.

This seems to be happening on the Korean Peninsula at the moment the norths replacement rates is by some estimates 4x higher than the south. In 40-50 years the north won’t even need to fight the south they’ll win by shear demographics.
