Enhanced Backup Solutions
Our DVS plans include a complimentary additional storage backup VPS, matching the total capacity of your VPS instance. When placing your order, you can choose an unmanaged storage VPS with NAT connectivity and a cross-site IP for communication with other servers in our infrastructure, which you can manage and use as you wish. Alternatively, we can automate the backup process, backing up your entire VPS with a single retention, allowing clients to restore on demand.

Frequently Asked Questions
DVS is a dedicated virtual server, better known as VDS (virtual dedicated server).
The acroynm VDS has been tainted over the years for not truely being dedicated. Our DVS range on the other hand is truely dedicated.
A DVS means all allocated resources are dedicated to the user. KVM virtualization is implemented to reinforce this fact giving the feel and performance of the host machine.
Nested virtualization is enabled by default and with a DVS, if you so choose, you can spin up a VM or 2 with a single core without the need of worrying that you may be disturbing your neighbours.
Yes!
Our DVS plans means that a physical core from the host server with 2 threads has been dedicated to your VPS instance.
Pinning means no other server can request a share of the core or thread remaining available only for your VPS.
The answer to that question is dependant on the option you have chosen.
If you have opted for an automated backup, then other than restoring on demand, there is not much else you can do it.
However, if you have opted for a self-managed VPS, you can do just about anything you want with the storage, however, bare in mind the NAT VPS is not fully dedicated.
This would be due to the way your instance has been pinned and bound to the physical core. In order to assign a CPU topology that pins a physical core, your instance needs to be assigned 2 sockets on a single core to be able to multithread that core x2.
So a socket (2) multiplied by the actual physical core (1) multiplied by the threads (2) will show as 4 cores in your VPS instance (the same will be true for 2 cores), however, this configurations simply ensures the entire core is dedicated solely to your instance.
If you have opted for our automated backup, then you will have no control over when your backup is taken.
Backups are taken daily at 12 midnight GMT+0 meaning, you will have access to the state your VPS was at the time of the backup.
Restores of the backup have no limit.
The NAT VPS will come with 1GB RAM, 1vCore and the same amount of storage your DVS plan has.
Indeed!
Our NAT VPS will proxy your additional internal IP to a domain name that will then function on port 80 or 443. There is no need to use one of your allocated ports and add port numbers to your domain to access them.
Further, you do not need to proxy via your IPv6 either (although a /64 is provided).
With our NAT VPS, you have many options how to use it. The choice is your’s!
