WARNING! Cognitohazard Zone!The existence of Pooners has recently come to my attention, and while some may consider this superfluous as there's already a Transphobic Memes thread (which is awesome btw and has some funny shit) the Pooners already on the site are scattered throughout multiple threads, making it difficult to find them.
So I thought while I have five minutes, I'd create an enclosure just for these strangest and most disgusting of tranny representatives to be displayed.

What is a Pooner?
Pooners are caricatures of FtM transexuals that are drawn by FtM Transexuals about themselves, named after poon or poontang which is slang for a vagina.
Imagine if late 19th/early 20th Century Picanniny caricatures were made by Black people, thats a Pooner.
Why FtMs chose to depict themselves as such freakish, misshapen golems is anyones guess, and likely comes down to the extreme self hatred and body dysmorphia that female troons experience, its like if anachans were to draw each other as ghoulish skeletal Lich's.
Pooners display stereotypically gross features of FtMs, they have pink skin, caused by testosterone abuse, they often are described as smelling like Tuna or rotten fish, as FtM Fujoshis typically have terrible hygeine, and testosterone causes vaginal atrophy and imbalances the natural Ph levels, causing them to reek.
Pooners are also typically short, weird, weak little creatures, displaying the FtMs knowledge and resentment that as hard as they try they can always only be manlets, and will never be taken seriously.
The big lips are anybodies guess, there are various theories, perhaps because women tend to have fuller lips than males, just another give away sign that the will never be men.
They also tend to have visible self harm scars, (another indication of the self loathing), huge stretched ear gauges, and often the tell tale flayed arm that comes as a result of the FtMs fake Phallo surgery, where a chunk of flesh is flayed from their arms and rolled into a rough approximation of a penis (to a blind person maybe) and then stitched to the Pooners crotch until it likely rots off.
Pooners come various guises, but normally all share these particular points.
Origin
The origin of the Pooner is surprisingly complicated to trace, but the earliest Pooners seem to be the creation of a user on Reddit who went by u/babybabybaby222 at the time, and was also responsible for the Toob/Choob memes that regulars on Philosophy Tube's thread will recognize. While they may share a common origin, the Toob drawings failed to capture whatever Zeitgeist the Pooners have that have made them lodge in the minds of the TiF community, (no doubt spurred on by the knowledge that the Pooner is an all too accurate representation of themselves) many of whom have started to create and share Pooners of their own, thus giving this meme its spark of life,
and beginning its spread. The information uncovering this was in a large part down to @gorororo in a post on page 5 on this thread:

The AGP Lovecraft Pooner, if this is correct, the Ur-Pooner, the origin of the species, so to speak is here:
If this was indeed the first true Pooner, it would not be the last, u/babybabybaby222 had connected to a dark part of the TiF psyche, one that resonated with many it touched, likely because they saw their darkest fears reflected in it, in gazing into the Abyss, they found Pooners looking back at them, and a uniquely hilarious and disgusting meme was given shape.
Despite it being relatively young, there is something about the Pooner meme that sticks with people, it's creator u/babybabybaby222 has since been banned on that account, but wasn't above a little humorous self promotion, as a satirical Vice article @gorororo found on Reddit shows:
Pooners seem to have connected to a dark part of the FtM psyche, and from them spread with the randomness of any true meme onto the wider knowledge of the Internet, as more people have enountered them.
They are hilarious, and disturbing in equal measure, and while definitely gross also have the haunting feeling that you are getting a window into a very dark part of the human mind, one thats tied up with identity issues and self loathing, I think a quote adressed to the first artist sums it up quite well:

Once that door is opened it can't be shut, and for good or ill, the Pooner is now released, to bring comedy, disgust, or whatever you take from it.
As a relatively young meme, it'll be interesting to see where this one goes.

A running theme here also seems to be infantilization and a fear of abandonment
As well as a recognition that despite all their rage and the ratty bois they keep in their cages, they're always going to be weak, pathetic manlets, that people find hard to take seriously
something that sadly, as seen by recent events, can cause the more delusional of them to act out in a violent manner.
When you have unscrupulous people gassing up already delusional and mentally ill Pooners with stories of an imaginary "trans genocide" and calling for them to take up arms, its not surprising that eventually some of them will be crazy enough to take it literally, and sadly being the weak, innefectual creatures they are, they go for the softest of targets

As for why Pooners are, that is again, anyones guess, but if you're looking for something to blame, there seems to be a dark thread that runs through the human psyche and manifests itself in the art of the mentally ill in particularly disturbing ways. Pooner Art stands as a window into the self loathing and twisted soul of the most pornsick and deranged members of society.

As you go through the thread you may notice a recurring character who keeps popping up. If AGP Lovecraft is the Ur-Pooner and Origin of the Species, theres a particular Pooner who seems to keep appearing, perhaps because its the Pooner that IRL Pooners most relate to, perhaps because its just neat, who knows, but if there's one Pooner who is almost the "Where's Waldo" of the Poonerverse, it's this guy, see if you can spot it!
