I’ve seen a lot of people hating on objectums on TikTok and Reddit bit I’m really curious as to why. Yes I get a lot of objectums on TikTok are attracted to computers with faces on them but I’m really curious as to why. We don’t hurt anyone do we? someone once told me objects didn’t consent to my love which makes me really confused like.. it’s an object? It doesn’t feel does it? Sure I like to think it feels but even if it wanted to tell me it consents could it? Can you guys give me reasons why people don’t like objectum , I’m thinking of making a video about this stuff. And if there even are any objectophobes on here you should tell me why you dislike objectum too!
So I had posted in another sub asking if there was a specific word for the fear of being objectified/fetishized because I have a character with that fear. And while most people were kind and came to a calm conclusion that there wasn’t one specific word for it, someone just decided they felt the need to shame me for being objectum??? Like girl that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. I think they said Smth like “Well I’d just call it the fear of being objectified, but you post in communities that get crushes on objects so that’s probably a good thing for you.” I just calmly explained that those are two very different things and blocked them. not super worked up about it, but just thought it was a weird interaction and wanted to share. If you find the person who said this, don’t harass them, they aren’t worth any of y’all’s time :3
when i think about being objectum and i see objectum content i get butterflies and i feel weird and i'm wondering if that's common or if anyone else feels that way?
