私は、日本国総理大臣として、イラン情勢に関して、以下のとおりメッセージを発出いたします。
１ 現在イランで発生しているデモにおいて多数の民間人が死傷しているとの報に接し、日本政府として情勢の悪化を深く懸念しています。
２ 日本政府は、平和的に行われるデモ活動に対するいかなる実力行使にも反対の立場です。
３ 日本政府としては、今回の事態が平和的方法により早期に収束することを強く期待します。
４ また、日本政府は、引き続き、イランにおける邦人保護に万全を期していきます。
1. The Government of Japan is deeply concerned about the worsening situation in Iran, having received reports that many civilians have been killed or injured in the ongoing protests.
2. Japan stands against any use of force against peaceful protests.
3. Japan strongly hopes that the current situation will be resolved promptly through peaceful means.
4. Japan will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure the protection of Japanese residents in Iran.
