Customer Reviews
Very easy to follow along, just having issue with the zipping part
Since this is marketed towards complete beginners on Instagram, there are a few points where the instructions could be clearer:
- Do you double the thread? You don‘t.
- Do you tie a knot at the end of the thread? You don‘t.
- Which direction do you follow the bead diagram in? This could be clarified with some arrows (although it only matters for some patterns, so it’s not a major issue).
I also would‘ve appreciated a list of colors for each fish, for example „26x black beads (e.g. Miyuki XYZ)“. The exact bead count would be optional, but even a rough list would make the instructions much more accessible - both for beginners unsure which colors to buy and for people with limited color vision.
I ended up just buying a bead set with 24 colors, which I looked back and forth at to see if it had every color I needed. Of course, you‘re free to use any colors you like for the patterns, but starting out, I just wanted to recreate the ones shown in the product pictures.
All that being said, if you take the time and have enough patience to understand the basics, the instructions are accurate and result in some very cute little fishies. I’ll definitely be making many more of these little guys and I’d happily purchase additional pattern add-ons 😊
Amazing step by step guide! Will be following for my more patterns!

FAQs
Is this bead crochet?
No, it's not bead crochet. My designs are made using a mix of different bead weaving techniques like peyote, circular beading, and brick stitch and sometimes even a few of my own methods.
Each pattern includes step-by-step illustrated instructions so you can easily follow along and recreate the piece.
Do you provide video tutorials with the patterns?
Not for now, all my patterns come as PDFs with detailed step-by-step illustrations. They’re designed to be as clear and easy to follow as possible.
I may add video tutorials in the future, but for now, the written instructions include close-up diagrams and visual guides for every step.
What beads do you use?
I mostly work with Miyuki Seed Beads (not Delicas), usually in transparent or luster finishes. These beads have a beautiful light reflection and a soft shine that make each piece sparkle just right ✨
Other brands like Toho also work great, as long as the seed beads are very uniform in size and shape.
What thread do you use?
I use Miyuki 330 dtex 100% nylon thread.
Here are a few great alternatives I also like:
- KO (made by Miyuki) or One-G (by Toho)
- Nymo
- FireLine or DuraThread
Whatever you choose, make sure the thread is thin enough to pass through your beads several times and strong enough not to fray easily.
Can I sell the creations I make with your patterns?
Yes, absolutely, you can sell the finished pieces you make using my patterns.
All I ask is that you don’t resell, redistribute, or share the patterns themselves (including screenshots or copies), and please credit the design to me if someone asks where it’s from.
