VirVir, where art thou?
Same reason as before and it's been upsetting me but there's nothing I can do at the moment but wait for a response. We've received one response over the last 3 weeks.
I'm just logging in to let everyone know they should not be worried about me and I apologize for making you worried. I'll come back here full time once it feels appropriate. I'm not abandoning you guys or our customers and things that are within my direct control should start improving soon to some level as I begin to (finally and hopefully) catch up.
I'll try to touch on everything else I remember with a couple sentences each:
There are definitely several nodes down but the majority's San Jose. Other nodes have been quickly fixed where possible. Atlanta is the most affected location. Los Angeles was initially some carrier issues and then switch issues which I'm trying to wrap up.
I apologize to anyone who I've disappointed, especially from this community (such as @msatt)
Tickets have an unfathomable backlog so I'm just confirming what everyone's suspected, tickets have been currently abandoned.
We didn't do Black Friday as a result of the long-running tradition of not trying to do anything if it even feels like a cash grab or adds to the workload at a critical time
Oklahoma is still alive and well. It's still not a priority, and I'm excited for it to be a priority again. The routing issue here can be immediately fixed by removing Cox Communications, I've just wanted to do it "properly" after communicating with them which hasn't happened yet. Beta testers will get a "reset" on their due dates as if they've received the beta period for free.
"What about [insert server name or insert my issue] and why no updates?" We'll get into this later with a wall of text, maybe. I already have several pages of thoughts I've been saving for when I'm back, if I decide to post it.
I hope everyone's doing well, once again, I am doing well and I do not want you guys to think anything happened to me. This doesn't mean I'll be back immediately, but soon
