兩條天橋已經先後完成安裝工程團隊利用BIM（建築資訊模型）模擬唔同吊運同安裝方案，喺工地先將超過200件預製鋼架結構組裝好，然後用「自行式模塊運輸車」將重達500噸嘅天橋精準運送到位，再配合液壓起重系統完成吊運同安裝

[Railway 101 Station construction under Tung Chung Line Extension 3] One of the major works for Tung Chung East Station is the construction of the pedestrian footbridges that will directly connect the two station entrances to the future Tung Chung East new development area~

Both footbridges have now been successfully installed The project team utilised BIM (Building Information Modelling) to simulate various lifting and installation plans. Over 200 prefabricated steel components were assembled on-site in advance, and a Self-Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT) was used to precisely transport each 500-ton footbridge into place, completing the lifting and installation with a hydraulic lifting system
