back in october 2024 soyteens doxxed the creator of WEBFISHING, Westthewerst, for being a furry degen that allowed minors to get groomed in the games servers. now Rift Fishing/glimmerloft is attempting to do the same thing. they already have a 'cord server set up with 0 age verification and playtesting has begun today

<what can i do to help

glimmerloft has a linktree set up with all of their social media posts, its a solo dev so it should be easy to scour their accounts and find their identity

I'm going to be honest here, I'd much rather we just push them to add proper protections for minors. If we keep 'oxing the devs for these things we're going to make them martyrs and eventually risk people continuing the project out of spite. Plus, I like fishing games and Animal Crossing so I'd hate to lose out on this when we could actually improve the situation instead.
