A Czech retailer (Smarty.cz) has already put up a preliminary listing for the upcoming Valve Steam Machine (512GB) 
The product page doesn't display a public price yet, but checking the site's source code via browser developer tools reveals a hidden price in the page data:
512GB model: 19,826 CZK (approximately $950 USD, pre-tax)
2TB model: 22,305 CZK (approximately $1,070 USD, pre-tax)
This suggests at least one retailer has internal pricing ready, even though nothing is officially announced or visible to customers.
Keep in mind this is a third-party seller, so the official price directly from Valve/Steam could end up lower resellers often include their own markup.
