When it has gotten to the point that he thinks "stalkers" have made his bathroom tiles slippery, so his dad would be facing the end of his life, his mental illness just simply cannot be ignored any more. To play into this anymore is just cruel, not that I think his "harassers" knew this, and he certainly had it coming. He needed help, and by his actions in a bad state of mind, he made it basically impossible.

Untreated mental illness is a very real problem in Japan, there is a stigma about it and it leads to tragic events such as what happened to Yoshi's parents. I feel so sad for them. They were victims too.

Yoshi had been delusional, but once the trolls actually started to gangstalk him... Yeah, even if he ends up recovered from his conditions, I think it will still be very justified for him to occasionally doubt things again. Because, well, he saw it first hand, there're actually people that will travel to someone else's town just to troll someone for the lulz.

I knew a man with schizophrenia and he was the kindest, most compassionate, empathetic person I have ever met. He was a wonderful father and a brilliant drummer. God rest his soul.

This is such a sad story because its very clearily a mentaly unstable person geting harased until he has a breakdown, the part about him not being able to visit his dad due to his paranoia is tear jerking, the internet is the fucking worse man.
