97L is trending stronger and would not be surprised if the east trend persisted and became more evident. This will likely be significant for the eastern Gulf coast. Get ready folks.

There is potential for coastal storm development along the east coast later next week/next weekend with the tail-end of the cold front being cutoff and possibly becoming more dynamic. Whether this becomes non-trop/sub-trop/trop and if it can develop is TBD, but worth eyeing.
