Hi, I'm looking for a VPS in Turkey, and I plan to use it as a DNS server. The more traffic, the better :)

    wow , what kind of resolver is this?

    my secondary DNS server with ~7000 domains bandwidth for december : December, 2025 5.64 GB

    Yeah, you can point whole Turkey and their grandmothers to that DNS and it would be under 4TB

    We are transparent about our network policy, most providers offers "unlimited" but they limit your network speed and asks for more payment. There is examples :sweat_smile: , feel free checking our solutions.

    I use https://vps.tc for a VPS Istanbul. They're pretty cheap ($3/month for 2 vCPU, 3 GB RAM, 50 GB disk, 3 TB/month bandwidth) and even if you run out of traffic, you're only throttled to 30 Mbps (still more than enough for DNS). I've been sustaining about 16 Mbps in both directions and they're fine with it. They also take cryptocurrency.

    There are some caveats, though:

    • CPU steal is VERY high (2-4% typically, but I've seen over 10% at full load)
    • They enable memory ballooning, so add "blacklist virtio_balloon" to /etc/modprobe.d/balloon.conf

    So don't expect a powerhouse. Expect:
