Our mission is to make images searchable

When we started TinEye, we had a simple vision: help users search using images. Today, we are delivering image search solutions to a wide range of businesses where image search is mission critical.

The image shows the TinEye robot painted on the front of the TinEye HQ. The mural features a playful robot, with large eyes, bold black lines, and bright accents in blue, white and red. The sky is partly cloudy, and a neighboring building is visible on the left side of the image, with a more muted, worn appearance, creating a contrast with the lively mural.

About TinEye

Our story started in 2008 when we invented reverse image search. Today, we are a boutique software company with expertise in computer vision, pattern recognition, neural networks and machine learning.

We have built a small, exceptional team based in Toronto. And today, TinEye’s image recognition is used by millions of people and powers billions of searches across a wide range of industries. We are privately owned, profitable and founder led.

Our culture

  • Our clients come first. Always.
  • We are mission-driven and we give a damn: about our work, clients, and colleagues.
  • We take care of each other and make sure everyone can enjoy the journey. It is not just about a paycheck.
  • We run on earned trust.
  • We have a sense of humour.
  • We give the boot to overtime. That’s just poor planning.
  • We win together.
  • We persevere in the face of hardship. We don’t bail.
