Films

Carrie (2013) may have been panned and criticized upon release in 2013 saying it was a straight remake of the 76 film and added nothing new. but did you know originally when director kimberly peirce took this film. she intended to do a novel accurate film based on the novel, back in December 2012 a number of people especially focus groups were shown a early cut for Carrie (2013) with over 45 minutes of footage that has been left unreleased this was shown to focus groups and test screening audiences.

the original cut had the town destruction, the white commission, extended prom massacre, and many other scenes that were shown to test audiences before the delay. and before release in october 2013 audiences were shown 4 alternative endings at each screening and were asked “which one did they like”

and only a portion of those scenes from the original cut have been released and not the original 2hr 25min cut or the deleted scenes from it. there was a petition to release the original cut back in 2014-2017 and it reached its goal many times and we never got it, we know the town destruction was shot or was unfinished and bts photos going off from the October 2012 teaser with voice overs from the white commission used in the teaser, the white commission and found footage was apparently a big part of the original cut as well as the town destruction and sues video diary, so much was cut from the 2013 film that should have been released

[found] Lost Sega Channel content recovered after decades reveals over 140 previously unseen Mega Drive games [found] Lost Sega Channel content recovered after decades reveals over 140 previously unseen Mega Drive games
Video Games

A significant discovery came to light in the field of video game preservation: more than 140 games associated with the Sega Channel, Sega’s digital distribution service from the 1990s, have been recovered after having been considered lost for decades. The Sega Channel operated between 1994 and 1998 on the Mega Drive/Genesis and allowed users to download games temporarily via cable television, which caused much of its catalog to disappear once the service was discontinued.

The recovery was made possible through access to original backup tapes and archival materials kept by former employees involved in the service’s operation, later organized by preservation initiatives. Among the recovered content are exclusive ROMs, alternative versions of well-known games, prototypes, and titles that were never officially released on cartridge. In several cases, these versions include extra stages, adjustments made specifically for the Sega Channel format, or content that does not exist in any other commercial release.

Beyond its technical relevance, the discovery is historically significant, as the Sega Channel can be seen as a precursor to modern digital distribution and subscription-based gaming services. Recovering this material prevents the permanent loss of an important chapter in the industry’s history and highlights the importance of digital preservation in safeguarding video game cultural heritage.

Found

In September 2013, Lazlow Jones (who played himself from GTA 3 - GTA 5) made an appearance on British radio station Absolute Radio alongside radio host Pete Donaldson, to talk about (the then brand new) GTA 5, but unfortunately, outside of a few mentions, no remnants of the interview took place.

From the written up remains, it was mentioned Lazlow spoke a lot about previous GTA games and played music from the previous GTA games.

A few days ago, someone did find part 1 of the show, which was about 15 minutes long and on that part, Lazlow mentioned he'd be there for "about 2 hours" (not including music and/or ad breaks) and the channel it was found on, wiped itself sometime around 2020, but the videos were privated.

I made a post on twitter about the 15 minutes being found, and today someone named "GTAtheGame" mentioned they had this stored on their harddrive, and has uploaded the entire thing in full, uncut too.

obviously we already have "lost", but there are some lost and existence uncomfirmed media that there are ZERO chances of resurfacing. some are footage and evidence that were destroyed or withholded by the government, a channel or by an organization and not meant for anyone to see (such as the Owen Hart death footage) or simply media with all copies destroyed and non existent (like London at Midnight or the lost Doctor Who episodes). probably its very stupid and overkill, but i've had this idea for a while and want to know what you guys think. imo this should be different from "lost" because lost media still have chances of being found and resurfacing, whereas "irrecoverable" media doesnt. practically its basically the same as non-existent media, even if it did exist at some point.

Found by FileEast, they found a collection of marketing materials which included a Japanese subbed version of the complete film. Along with a partial higher quality English subbed version, I helped restore the film to the best quality possible.

This release includes South Korean audio and English subs.

This film is notable for being the only animated feature film produced collaboratively in both North and South Korea, with South Korean studio AKOM handling the script and keyframes, and North Korean studio SEK handling the inbetweens and ink & paint.

It was created during a short time in the early 2000s where economic trade between the 2 Koreas was beginning to grow and tensions were starting to cool.

However due to the film's poor box office results, and later North Koran nuclear missile tests. The film was never put onto home media officially.

You may ask where I came across this weird anomaly, and to that I answer browsing Ray Park films. Yes, the Scottish martial artist that played Darth Maul and Toad. I thought, "Hey, this looks pretty sick. Where can I watch it." Turns out this is lost media that no one gives a flying damn about. No forums showcased the company, but I finally found it on Filmweb. The studio that funded this was Agog films based in Hong Kong. The director, which has no public contact info, is Nelson Shin. Websites make it painfully clear that this movie is approximately 102 minutes. I sat there thinking, is there a way I could retrieve the tape? And that my friends, is my request. Any fellow lost media dwellers that need a new quest, hit me up.

[partially lost] Raina Telgemeier’s “Take Out” minicomics [partially lost] Raina Telgemeier’s “Take Out” minicomics
Comics

I’ve been on a search for these comics for almost a year now, and have scoured just about every crevice of the internet for them, whether someone selling them or perhaps a good chunk of pages floating on some archival site, but I’ve only come up with about a handful of scans. It’s clear that these comics are extremely rare, having been sold way back in the early 2000s way before Telgemeier grew to fame, and that’s all the more reason as to why I’m so eager to find them.

https://opticalsloth.com/?tag=raina-telgemeier

If you scroll to the bottom of the website linked above you’ll find where a majority of these few scans I’ve managed to find are located. I’ve tried contacting the site owner over email and even sent a physical letter to the listed P.O. Box months ago with no response.

If anyone on this subreddit happens to have any further info on these or even owns these mini-comics, I would IMMENSELY appreciate scans of them, please and thank you (I am slowly going insane and am on the verge of giving up)

Lost toy story parody from a website that is now gone [partially lost] Lost toy story parody from a website that is now gone [partially lost]

So I was googling toy story stuff when I came across these two post, one is from Tumblr and other from a very obscure website which are these links.

https://www.tumblr.com/blogwell/778343683/collegehumor-extended-versions-of-woodys-voice

https://staytoonedin.wordpress.com/2011/03/05/toy-storys-extended-versions-of-woodys-voice-box-phrases/

So apparently the website that it takes you to is now a website for a studio and the website was originally a comedy website full of articles of comedy stuff which one of them is this toy story one is about andy noticing that woody's voice lines are longer than usual from talking to mr. potato head to trying to kill andy so that was my guess of what's happening in this article, when I went to wayback machine to see the original article, it has audio clips for you to listen to hear what's woody saying but however that's the lost part about this article, basically when I tried to play the audio, I did not work at all considering ruffle is having issues loading the audio, and if don't know what's the website's name, it is called collage humor and it no longer exists which means it would be impossible to find unless someone has their link of the website in the wayback machine fully working which would be possible for the audio to play, but if it still doesn't work, that means it will be lost forever, if anyone could get their page working for this article and the audio plays or if someone saved the audio clips in their computer or hard drive, I really would appreciate it because I really want to know what they're really saying! Once again I hope someone finds this and please and thank you!

[Talk] People edited out of Reality Competition TV post production [Talk] People edited out of Reality Competition TV post production
Television

I’ve been looking into this topic recently because it’s honestly really interesting to me. The idea that someone can be filmed for an entire season of a show and then almost completely erased after is kind of crazy. Some examples I found are Hell’s Kitchen Season 3 contestant JR, who was edited out for unknown reasons but seemingly eliminated mid signature dish challenge, Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 12 contestant Sherry Pie, who went on to be a finalist but was later disqualified for sexual misconduct post filming, and an unidentified contestant from MasterChef: The Professionals Series 13 who’s placement and reason was unknown. The lost media in question is usually the footage that was recorded of them pre editing, as even with JR, who was likely eliminated first, we still got footage of him in wideshots and during another contestants elimination, they showed footage of his name on a sign. What I find most interesting is how the show still goes on as if nothing happened, even though someone is clearly missing. It makes you think about how much editing controls what we see and don’t see. I’m really curious if there are more cases like this, because this whole “erasing” thing in reality TV feels way more common than people realise.

Whenever someone brings up Selene Delgado or Joanna Lopez, which are notable cases of missing people, it makes me question why those are brought up as "lost media". I get that it's because they want to find out more about how this happened but whenever a video talks about such cases and calls it lost media, how is that even lost media? I'm probably being way too soft but I get puzzled whenever someone makes a video about a missing person and the stuff related to it is "lost media". I feel like the biggest problem with talking about missing people is that this isn't actual lost media like an early demo or a television pilot, but documents, phone calls, police records, or even distressing audio and videos of someone whose yet to be found, that shouldn't be lost media.

TL;DR - content about missing people shouldn't be lost media at all.

Checked to see if it was on box of broadcasts and sure enough it was on there. So I downloaded the video and uploaded it to archive.org, I tried to upload it to YouTube but it kept getting copyright striked even if I mirrored the video. I would imagine this wasn't uploaded because of the current Israel-Palestine conflict, so it probably won't get uploaded officially for a very long time. Also it was actually shown on 12th November 2009 rather than in 2011.

[Fully Lost] ABC TV Pilot “Cooley High”, Later Reworked into What’s Happening!! [Fully Lost] ABC TV Pilot “Cooley High”, Later Reworked into What’s Happening!!
Television

I’m looking for information on a lost, unaired television pilot titled Cooley High, produced by ABC as an attempt to adapt the 1975 film of the same name into a TV series.

The Cooley High pilot aimed for a more serious, dramatic tone. According to available information, test audiences responded poorly, describing the show as “too dramatic.” As a result, ABC asked the producers to rework the project into a lighter, more comedic sitcom. To avoid confusion with the film, the reworked version was retitled What’s Happening!!, which went on to air successfully.

Some casting details from the original pilot are known. Ernest Thomas was the only actor retained from the Cooley High pilot for the reworked series. Maurice Marshall played Damon in both the original film and the TV pilot, and Garrett Morris appeared as the teacher Mr. Mason in both the film and the pilot.

The original Cooley High television pilot has never been broadcast, and no footage is publicly available. There is no confirmed information about its runtime, surviving elements, or whether it still exists in the ABC/Disney archives.

If anyone here has come across trade-paper mentions, archival records, production materials, or firsthand recollections related to the Cooley High TV pilot, I’d really appreciate any information.

This seems like a legitimate lost media case connected to a culturally significant film.

Context:

Originally handed to the uploader through his mother back in 1991 or 1992.

The following presentation was originally unearthed in 2009 sometime on the cinemageddeon channel in full. The upload got taken down and was lost for some time.

Rediscovered by kengorski, a segment floated around and that was all there was for 16 years.

It wasn’t until 2025 when the original uploader of the short rediscovered this gem and uploaded it on his other channel.

Information about the film according to the uploader and his description.

“Note Added 11/13/2025: According to the timestamp, I originally uploaded a copy of this to Cinemageddon on 2009-05-11 20:10:02. A few days later on May 15, 2009, kengorski uploads "Ants on Drugs" which makes the rounds. Many years later I uploaded the full video to my youtube, but later took it down for fear of copyright strikes (my channel was on its last leg!) -- it doesn't seem anyone copied it back then.”

Story of the cartoon show:

To effectively present necessary information about drugs of abuse to young school children, Kim Edward Light, Ph.D., a faculty member of the UAMS College of Pharmacy, developed and produced a Disney-style animated cartoon about this growing problem in our society for presentation in schools and by organizations. The Adventures of R.F. Ant® is an innovative drug abuse prevention program for children in kindergarten through fourth grade. The program is centered on the good advice from the ant-like "star" character, R.F. Ant®, which children quickly learn stands for refusant – that is, a person who chooses to refuse drugs and knows why.

The U.S. Department of Education, Drug Free Schools and Communities Program, Arkansas Division on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention, and UAMS co-funded the production of the cartoon.

The premiere broadcast of the cartoon was presented on two Saturdays – October 19 and 26, 1991, by KATV/7 in Little Rock (ABC affiliate) and on Saturday, March 7, 1992, by KLRT/16 in Little Rock (now a FOX affiliate). Since then, the cartoon has been shown in many schools and to other youth-oriented organizations by teams of College of Pharmacy students and faculty as discussion guides and presenters, so the important lessons “taught” by R.F. Ant continue to impress young minds to this day.

important lessons “taught” by R.F. Ant continue to impress young minds to this day.

The cartoon has won several awards for excellence:

Bronze Telly Award, national competition (1992) Bronze Quill Award of Excellence from the International Association of Business Communicators/Arkansas (1992)

Certificate of Excellence, Health Sciences Communications Association (1992) Certificate of Merit Award from INTERCOM/Chicago - The Industrial Film and Video Festival (1992). Building upon the acceptance of the cartoon as a valid and valued educational program, Dr. Light has presented an annual coloring contest based on the popular R.F. Ant character with the following results.

Drugs Make Soup Out of Your Brain PSA [fully lost] Drugs Make Soup Out of Your Brain PSA [fully lost]

This was an anti-drug PSA of the 80s that aired in the NY tri-state area. It was a bunch of students in a very bare bones studio with pots and pans pretending to be chefs making soup. The song went something like:

Drugs and alcohol are both the same

They make soup…out of your brain

I don’t want to be chicken soup

I don’t want to be tomato!

I don’t want to be pea soup

I just want to be me!

I’m trying to convince my children that this was not just a fever dream from my childhood.

I have searched for it so many times but anti drug PSA s were SO PREVALENT in those days that so many others come up. I have t even been able to find a reference to this ad anywhere.

Audio

In 1963, an acetate of John and Paul doing What Goes One was made. It's thought this was recorded in May, '63 like the Bad To Me demo, released officially in 2013. It was originally gonna be properly recorded on March 5th, 1963 for their next single, but From Me To You/Thank You Girl (and One After 909) were all that could be recorded. Later in 1965, Paul and Ringo rewrote some lyrics before recording the song for Rubber Soul. Ever since then, this demo version wasn't known until some snippets leaked online a few years ago. Andrew of the Parlogram yt channel later admitted this acetate was bought by them when it went up for sale (by George Harrison's estate. weird.) Parlogram even released some audio snippets from this demo in a few of his videos (most notably a recent instagram video about What Goes On). Finally after all this time, @EarthShoesForTheNeedy on yt uploaded the full 2 minute demo -> https://youtu.be/cOI4Tgfwk4c?si=VEZN3EXQJ4SMz4gN

This is especially exciting after 2 other Beatles demos were released a few days ago: Misery (done in the Cavern Club, January '63) and Love Of The Loved (demo for Cilla Black, presumably in June/July '63)

Note: yes the original scan has a detail in one character that was misinterpreted as an erection and Ariel actually has six toes instead of five .

while the original 1989 theatrical negative of the feature film has not been technically lost because Disney has the original source confidentiality secured, it was never used again post-1991 home media releases and was never probably shown ever since. Until this past Sunday.

Plus, According to Michael Putluck,”It's worth noting that this is 1.85:1 aspect ratio as theatrical movies generally are in that radio or the wider, skinnier 2.39:1 ratio. These are known as flat or scope respectfully, with scope using an anamorphic lens to fit a wider picture within a film cell that is the same width (22mm, with the remaining 13mm consisting of sprocket holes to propel the film through the projector and optical soundtracks which are read by lasers).”

(Main topic)

For the first time since the 1990 VHS and laserdisc, Disney’s iconic original variant of their production sleeping beauty logo ident is been rediscovered in its original, native 1:85:11 widescreen aspect ratio from a French dub 35mm 1990 film scan. The Little Mermaid was originally released on November 1989 in the US before additional releases nationwide afterwards. After making $84 million, Disney decided to finally release newly produced animated films on home video forgoing the tradition of rereleasing classic films to make revenue and it also become a major success on VHS and laserdisc. It was at one point one of the highest selling home media releases at that point , surpassing Pinocchio, before being surpassed by Aladdin and to this day The Lion King. The Little Mermaid is commonly referred as the return of form to Disney by starting a Renaissance and marked one of the best animations since Snow White.

The Little mermaid was re-released in theaters and home media with newly mixed audio presentations, remastered visuals including updated color correction, digitize noise reduction and all others. The original variant of Disney’s logo has been replaced by later iterations in 1997, 1999, 2006, 2011, and 2019. The original variant was exclusive in the 1990 4:3 pan and scan VHS and laserdisc, as it by the way the only legal way to watch the film in its original print from start to finish and laserdisc but the widescreen format for the original theatrical scan has never been seen the light of day in any version of the film from start to end until now.

For the movie 35mm scan as a whole, it was a French fellow But for whatever reason the unnamed scanner added ai upscaling, which is troubling.

Despite the odd ai upscaling seen in some areas, it’s not terrible. French dub mov and mp4, two versions of the English one. https://gofile.io/d/RZiv1R

Lego had this part of their website where people could upload videos they made of stop motion of Legos.

One such video which I’m on the hunt for, has two rival astronauts, one red and one blue.

The premise is they find a new planet and they race to the new planet to be the first to discover, they keep parroting “my planet!” At each other.

Then, it cuts to them taking off.

The video ends with these two alien creatures made of technic bricks, with two skeletons on the ground. The aliens are looking at earth off in the distance and saying in this creepy voice “our planet.”

Scared the shit out of me as a kid, and I’d love to find it again.

Hello! I am looking for people who are interested in participating in a study. This is a project I am working on for school on a presentation about lost media. There are only four questions to answer, and I’m looking for people with or comfortable with the specific skills of being able to give elaborate answers and dub them over. The dubbing is preferred, but if you don’t feel comfortable with your own voice I can find someone else to read them aloud.

The questions are as following: What made you get into lost media?

What do you think draws you towards it?

How/where do you get motivation to search?

What do you think the internet has done for lost media?

There is a final deadline of January 15th, but I’d prefer it to be submitted sooner. Please contact me over here or over Discord:

Ghoul Lashed! Aired between 1995-1996 on Sky One UK Saturday mornings. It was a wrap around show/kids block featuring an Addam's Family style family in a victorian mansion. There was a butler, husband, wife and two children and a talking taxidermy Moose head. Who would perform skits and interludes between cartoons. There was also an original show within it called 'The Perfect Family'.

I believe this to be lost media at this point, there is only a small amount of information online including the end credits of an episode here: https://youtu.be/1ImC7zDxlJQ?si=jvnjGRyO069tXf5c

Mention of it on a Sylvester Mccoy fansite here: https://sylvestermccoy.neocities.org/tv/crud

And a few other brief mentions on actors websites. I have reached out to people to try find copies with no luck.

An e-mail to Sky proved it does indeed exist still (partially) but they said many of the tapes were erased and they cannot supply for personal use as they don't hold the copyright.

Does anyone else remember this show??!! Posting this into the void in the hopes someone in the future reads it and may have an episode recorded on VHS.

[unreleased media] Early Version of The Master of Disguise (Pre-9/11) [unreleased media] Early Version of The Master of Disguise (Pre-9/11)
Films

After researching The Master of Disguise, I came across a disturbing image featuring Pistachio Disguisey disguised as a fire hydrant. This seems to be an early poster for the film, along with a work-in-progress logo. I haven’t found any acknowledgment of this early poster online. The implications for the film’s lore are significant, as Pistachio never transforms into an inanimate object in the final cut of the film.

Additionally, the dog in the poster, which is peeing on Pistachio disguised as a fire hydrant, is a character from the movie named "The Cuteness." This character was originally intended to be the main character's grandfather disguised as a dog, but this was later edited out of the movie. The deleted ending is still available on the DVD. Information about this early version is scarce, and discussions about this movie are often discouraged online due to the film's poor reputation.

Here’s a link to the early website featuring the fire hydrant Pistachio: https://web.archive.org/web/20020129235713/http://www.apple.com/trailers/columbia/master_of_disguise/

For easy access, here’s a screenshot of the page: https://imgur.com/a/ITd7YSS

Some elements are missing from the page, and it's unclear whether the trailer is different from the final release or if they can be restored.

Before anyone mentions the rumor regarding September 11th, it’s important to clarify that production started days after the event, not on that day itself. The director offered everyone a moment of silence to acknowledge the tragedy. Yes, Dana Carvey was in turtle facial prosthetics, but he did not have the shell on, as it could be easily removed.

From 2006 to 2009, the National Geographic Channel aired a documentary series called The Final Report, which covered historical events like Columbine, the LA riots, and the Waco siege. Narrated by Tom Kane of The Clone Wars fame, each episode would begin with a synopsis of the event in question, followed by a look at the investigation that took place afterward, before concluding with a second depiction of the event with added context from the investigation. Like many such series of the era, it used computer animation, archival photos/video, limited dramatic reenactment, and interviews with survivors, but its "trademark" framing device was posing questions during the event synopsis which would be answered during the course of the investigation. In my opinion, it was an effective way of summarizing complex (and relatively recent) historical events in a 44-minute format, in an informative and unbiased fashion, and with respectable production values that still hold up today.

Unfortunately, the series was never released on physical media, and is not available on any streaming service I'm aware of. Some episodes were available for purchase in online media stores like iTunes and Microsoft Movies and TV at one time, but not all, and those that were appear to have been removed (not to mention the DRM issue tying them to unreliable platforms). A few episodes have been shared on YouTube and similar sites, but again not all, and not at reliable quality. Specifically, I'm trying to find the following episodes:

  • s1e7: Desert Storm

  • s2e1: Black Hawk Down

  • s2e2: Standoff at Ruby Ridge

  • s3e1: Investigation of TWA 800

  • s3e2: Battle for Fallujah

  • s3e4: Exxon Valdez Spill

  • s3e6: Green River Killer

  • s3e7: Heaven's Gate

Here is more information about the series on IMDb, RottenTomatoes, and Plex. The episode order isn't always consistent; I've gone off of what's listed on IMDb. I've checked all the video-sharing services I'm aware of, and because I don't think the series was ever offered for free online, I don't think I'd be able to find it on Internet Archive.

If anyone can help me track these down, I would be very appreciative: shows like The Final Report, Seconds from Disaster, and Mayday/Air Crash Investigation were my bread and butter growing up, so there's a huge amount of nostalgia for me when I go back and watch the episodes I have been able to find (on top of still being informative and entertaining). Thanks.

[partially lost] Looking for the album “With You” by Andrew Stein (aka MandoPony) [partially lost] Looking for the album “With You” by Andrew Stein (aka MandoPony)
Music

I’m trying to track down Andrew's "With you" Album as well as maybe some other songs and demos along the way

What I know so far

  • The album is titled With You

  • The artist is Andrew Stein/Mandopony (indie / singer-songwriter)

  • I distinctly remember the album existing online at some point as I was able to download it on a now lost ipod shuffle and a bricked laptop

  • some Proof it exists somewhere ->their online store, blank Spotify page, their old Facebook (w, Youtube links)

  • There are also some songs now missing from their original (now missing as well) Soundcloud including a couple of demos, and a cover of "if I didn't believe in you"

What’s missing:

  • the full "With You" album

  • their Soundcloud releases

  • Anything else that has been deleted due to the controversy and them being embarrassed (probably) about their old things

What I’ve tried:

  • i've tried going through YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, and Spotify

  • General Google searches with lyric fragments and album name

  • Looking through old forum post

what I've found:

  • A cover of one of the songs (When the Flowers die)

  • I also remember a couple of lyrics from some of the demos and songs from the "with you" album, songs in specific being "when the flowers die", "you are everywhere", "Broken - (Demo)", "Everfree - (Demo)", "With you", and "Stick around"

I honestly love this album and some of the songs that have gone missing from his Soundcloud and wish to save them once again so I can hopefully share them with others.

[fully lost] Brazilian Mr.Potato Head car commercial [fully lost] Brazilian Mr.Potato Head car commercial
Advertising Material

Hey there, so Im looking for and old (maybe 2003ish) Brazilian car commercial which featured a giant green Mr Potato Head with wheels who sang (in Brazilian) “I am an old car, I am an old car, an ooo-old car.” And the supposed scientists (engineers?) ran to a whiteboard with some mouth designs on it and they circled one of the designs and took off the mouth on Mr Potato head. They then put on the new one, and he started singing: “I am a new car, I am a new car, a neeeew car.” The engineers then cheered and the commercial ended with a text that said something about being careful with old cars that are sold as new. Then it cut back to Mr Potato Head, and his new mouth fell off. I saw this video a few years ago on YouTube but I’ve been unable to find it again and every attempt just shows a different car commercial. As far as I now, no one else has tried to find it or reupload it.

[fully lost] Broadway-like McDonald's commercial from early 1970s, possibly with Kroc cameo [fully lost] Broadway-like McDonald's commercial from early 1970s, possibly with Kroc cameo
Advertising Material

Does anyone remember a Broadway-like, live-action McDonald's commercial from the early 1970s? The style was very similar to the "Grab a bucket and mop..." commercial that is easy to find online.

It began with two employees working in the food production area while singing about how "we got" all these different items.  It went something like this, though more food items were included.

"We got shakes,
We got french fries,
We got hamburgers,
(We got! We got!)"

The setting then shifted to the front of the store, with all the men doing a chorus-like performance of

"You deserve a break today"
(a female, operatic voice sang an "ooohhh-aaahhh" at this point.  Also during that line, there were other theatrical antics, specifically with five men on their backs, moving their legs apart to form a 5-pointed star, back and forth)

"So get up and get away, to McDonalds"

Singing stopped, then a spoken voice asked

"What was that name again?"

(Sung, big finish style) "Mc DO-O-O-ON-ALDS!"

But then, less than one beat after that last note, a man in a business suit, holding a familiar McDonalds carry-out bag, walked into camera range from the right.  No audio; all he did was smile at the camera.  I gotta wonder: could that have been founder Ray Kroc himself, making a cameo appearance?  I seem to recall that the man somehow seemed taller than the staged setting, as though he were a "giant" of sorts.  Not sure if that was a deliberate artistic effect, or he was just closer to the camera and only seemed taller.

[FOUND] Nina's Pop Up Puzzle (1999?); Prototype for Dora the Explorer [FOUND] Nina's Pop Up Puzzle (1999?); Prototype for Dora the Explorer
Television

Hey everyone! For context, in the development of Dora the Explorer, the earlier iterations included a girl named Nina and follows kinda the same premise as Dora, but more internet like. Made in the 90's, a short of Nina was made, likely by funline animation during the shows development. This video shows a glimpse of it, and is vital to the development of television and especially nickelodeon.

One of my friends, Amir Lewis, posted this video! He's extremely dedicated to lost media, especially with Dora. I'm proud of him! Not sure who to credit, but think Funline Animation/Nickelodeon.

[FOUND] Ultraseven Episode 12- From Another Planet With Love [FOUND] Ultraseven Episode 12- From Another Planet With Love
Television

Long considered the holy grail of lost media from the world of Japanese tokusatsu. Episode 12 of the Tsuburaya Production series Ultraseven, From Another Planet With Love, was banned shortly after its initial airing in 1967 as the design of the alien antagonist in the episode was considered offensive to those who survived the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. For decades, the only copy of the episode available was a low-quality rip of the English dub pulled from when mistakenly it aired on Hawaiian television in the 90s.

A high quality version of the episode was recently leaked onto Niconico by an anonymous user. (Given its extremely high professionial-HD-remaster-level quality, it's possible that it came from Tsuburaya Productions themselves, though there's no way to know at this point.) The Niconico upload has been taken down but it has been archived here:

This audio was recorded by the Father of The Little Sisters (Mary and Patty) onto his Reel to Reel while he watched his daughters perform on Johnny Carson. Most of the early Johnny Carson episodes were not recorded or were kept, and are considered lost Media. This audio recording (redubbed to Compact Cassette in the 80s) is most likely the only record of the episode.

Along with the interview and performance with the Little Sisters, there is an interview with Rosemary Clooney, Ben Lyon, and the audio of the episode's fashion show.

Dubs

Ok, so, presumably there's a collector on YouTube that has the first five episodes with the mexican dub (but it may be just be another person from Spain who wrongly calls it La Magia de Titila and is actually talking about La Pequeña Memole, the Spain dub...)... But other than that nothing?

The dub isn't completed, as the anime has a total of 50 episodes and only 26 were dubbed, and later the shorten version got a Latin Spanish dub released as La Pequeña Wendy with another cast, I've also never found that one but I'm looking for the chapters

I've been in Ok ru, in Digital motion, I'm now aware of the Blu-Ray release of the 40th Anniversary Edition recently released but. I. can't. find. the. dub. anywhere.

My mom talked me about this cute little anime that she loved when little called "Titila" and when I looked it up on YouTube all I saw was the dubbed intro (outro really) and a poor quality scene uploaded... Over a decade ago

Every few months over the spawn of that 10+ years of me knowing of the series I've been encountering the complete series on the Spain Dub, Ita dub, some muslim dub which I can't say what language it is (presumably Persian) and fragments on Japanese with no subs

I've also encountered Wee Wendy/Little Wendy on Internet Archive Eng dub, and I believe on YouTube Japanese dub with Eng subs but none of it are what I'm looking for

5 or more years ago I found a supposedly retro anime latin spanish forum... Private, you had to send a request and I honestly never received acceptance and I'm not even sure the page exist anymore... And also another one which sended the DVD's of other retro anime series which I never could confirm La Magia de Titila being there, and again, I'm not sure still exists

Please, help, anyone. This has been my personal mad turn since I'm like 11 years old—

The film was done by Juan Lopez Moctezuma who is famous for doing the Film “Alucarda” which is still praised to this day

This film has been a part of mexican lost media since the 90s and has only been shown once in 2006 in a horror film festival and never again. There has been a lot of theories as to why the movie never got a theater release or released on VHS or DVD and Some of them include some falling out between the director and the cast or production or distribution company, money being short, differences between the writer and director or they thought the film was bad and shelved it, Which led to it to become lost media in the mexican community

Juan Lopez Moctezuma died in 1995 one year after the lost film was done and most of the cast has died or left the acting industry which has been hard to communicate with them about the whereabouts of the film

Very little is known about the plot, the film follows Don Ramon (Moctezuma) a drunk performer who does circus acts with his neighborhood troupe in a poor neighborhood in Mexico City and his wife Petra (Isaura Espinoza) who sells Tamales 🫔 have to take care of a neighbor’s child after the neighbor was busted for drug trafficking. The neighbor’s daughter is called Liendre (translates to Flea or Nit)

During the movie, a mysterious man named Chicelada played by Jorge Victoria comes into the family’s home with evil tendencies and an interest in Petra. As the plot develops, Flea suffers a fatal attack from Petra and dies and to avoid being discovered by the police, Petra decides to use Flea’s flesh as tamale meat 🥩

The film has been uploaded to YouTube on December 7, 2025 but it’s a bad copy since the quality is very bad, blurry and the movement feels choppy almost like if this isn’t the finished product because there are also some scenes that feel like they are missing some context.

[partially lost] Nesquick Point and Click Adventure Promo Game [partially lost] Nesquick Point and Click Adventure Promo Game
Internet Media

Today I just remembered a very old game I played as a kid, it was like 2004 - 2007 +- might be different but somewhere around this time. It was like a nesquick promo adventure game, classic point and click type of game where you collect items and use them later in the game for some purpose. I remember just a few shards of the game because I was like 4 years old at that time.

I remember you could always see the nesquick character in the scene, standing in the corner of the view, I remember there was one scenery where you are at field with strawberries I think? Also I think the main goal of the game was to get through some gate locked with a padlock on a chain.

What I found on the internet it's simliar to Nesquick World and might be it, but I am not sure, because I remember the game pretty differently, some redesigned version or something. For example as you see this picture - https://imgur.com/nesquik-world-2-8biTQlO

The locked gate looks exactly like what I remember, but I know it wasn't from this angle, it was in the middle of the screen instead. Like from a different POV.

Might that be some different game, maybe it had more versions. Does anyone know if you can still play the game somewhere or maybe know the exact thing what I am talking about haha? Thanks

[partially lost] Viral 2007-2008 Xbox Live Apology Video [partially lost] Viral 2007-2008 Xbox Live Apology Video
Youtube

Hi guys, I’m trying to track down a YouTube video that went viral back when I was a kid. From what I remember, it was titled “Xbox Live Apology.” It featured a guy who didn’t know how to properly use his Xbox Live camera (not the Kinect) and accidentally appeared naked while gaming online. This was very early in the Xbox 360 era, he wasn’t a streamer at all.

In the video, he awkwardly explains that after a long day of work, he liked to relax by being naked in his own home, and he didn’t realize the camera was on. As a result, kids in the lobby saw him, and it completely freaked everyone out. The video itself wasn’t explicit, just an uncomfortable, deadpan explanation of what happened while sitting on his couch, but it ended up giving him early internet fame and sparked a wave of parody apology videos afterward. Unfortunately, even the parody videos seem to be gone. I’m considering this partially lost media at this point. ChatGPT 5.2 was able to confirm that it did exist, so here’s a brief snippet describing it:

Yeah—you’re remembering a real early-YouTube viral moment from the Xbox 360 era.

It was commonly known as the “Xbox Live Naked Guy Apology” (sometimes “360 Naked Guy Apology”).

What happened

  • Around 2006–2007, a guy recorded an apology video after realizing his Xbox Live Vision camera had been on.

  • He had been playing Xbox 360 naked, not knowing the camera was broadcasting or recording.

  • Word spread that other players may have seen him on Xbox Live.

  • He uploaded a very awkward, dead-serious apology video explaining he didn’t know the camera was on and saying sorry to anyone who saw it.

Why it went viral

  • This was early YouTube—people weren’t camera-aware yet.

  • Xbox Live video chat was still new.

  • The apology itself was unintentionally funny because of how sincere and uncomfortable he looked.

  • It became one of those “internet before people knew how the internet worked” moments.

Why it’s hard to find now

  • Many reuploads were taken down over the years.

  • Titles changed constantly.

  • Some versions were removed due to nudity policies.

Try searching phrases like

  • Xbox Live naked guy apology

  • Xbox 360 camera apology video

  • Xbox Live Vision camera apology

  • early YouTube Xbox naked apology

You’re not misremembering—it was absolutely a thing, and very on-brand for mid-2000s internet chaos 😅

Dubs

Lately i have been looking for this translation of Moral Orel with no success. All i have found is that it has premiered during the "Animation Night" event by the russian TV channel called 2x2 on the 9th of october, 2009.
There is a promo video which showed the Moral Orel intro for a second and a lot of promo materials mentioning that show appearing on the event.
There was also a post by Goblin (Dmitry Puchkov) about him translating the show. To my knowledge, only the first season/episode has been translated.
For context, the Animation Night event consists of two parts: a club party and a movie theater showing the premiers. For now, there are zero recordings of that translation that i can find on the internet and i can only find the recordings from the club. I have already looked through the internet archive and rutracker and found nothing.
If anyone has any information about that dub, please share, this will be much appreciated

Hi guys!🖤🖤 I’m looking for video footage or still images of Cirque Du Soleil’s appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. I run a separate archive social media account, and a dear friend shared a screenshot with me of a clip showing the cirque musicians at the time — I assume after a performance with the circus, because it is Jay Leno standing in front of everyone with a microphone (likely this episode), but the source video I cannot find anywhere. IMDB does list this episode as season 4, episode 249. I do know Cirque Du Soleil was actively promoting Quidam that year (1996), which should align with the appearance. I have already done multiple keyword searches on internet archive, vimeo, youtube, even way back machine and have hit a wall. I’m hoping anyone could help find a full episode recording, partial clip of the circus performance, or any other image stills. If anyone has any information or recordings on this episode I would absolutely love that! thank youuu🖤

[Partially Lost] Brazilian Portuguese dubbing of Wheel Squad [Partially Lost] Brazilian Portuguese dubbing of Wheel Squad
Dubs

It was an animated series made in France and Italy, Aired between 2000/2002. Here in Brazil, it was first shown on Fox Kids. Between 2001/2003 It was only shown again there between 2010 and 2015 On channels such as: TV Brasil (Public TV Channel) and TV Aparecida (Catholic TV Channel). It was dubbed in São Paulo at Marshmallow studios (the same studio that dubbed the first seasons of Totally Spies!).

After 2015, the cartoon disappeared from both channels. But it was available on the website: SaberTv until 2020, when the website disappeared. There are still remnants of the site, where you can see what was there: Synapse https://share.google/7xNIkSgHzECa4dBsu (Actually, that website belonged to a distributor that had already distributed several cartoons to channels that aired on those smaller channels)

Until sometime between October and December 2025, a channel called Trecosvmlc2. He started posting the dubbed episodes (and he didn't explain how he managed to do it). However, out of nowhere his channel was deleted, and according to a comment he made on a Brazilian subreddit, he said he was a victim of spam And that YouTube didn't He helped bring the channel back.

Besides Wheel Squad, he was also uploading episodes of Plankton Invasion (There are several episodes being uploaded to the Internet Archive and the Lost Media Brazil subreddit and so far there are about 15 episodes available)

Currently, only 2 episodes are available on a channel that previously offered subtitled versions: https://youtu.be/aq2PONxKaM4?si=9yghl6KkMDdvg-ws

https://youtu.be/tBKnK75pRgA?si=QSE9_jAEYpyN9Gq_

Before the channel was deleted, it had 20 episodes, while the original cartoon has 39 episodes.

I've already tried talking to the channel owner to see if he still has the episodes. I'm thinking of making them available on the Internet Archive. However, so far he hasn't responded. But I'm waiting for news.

Anyway, there are only one report in spanish that event made by an colombian news anchor called Andrés Pastrana for Colombia Canal Uno and my father told me he watched the news report on the EDSA Revolution in 1986, the thing is, there are no recording neither from Televisa (the main channel in Mexico) nor Imevision (the predecessor of TV Azteca, formerly owned by the mexican government) about that event.

Television

Produced by Nisan Productions in 1960, Monster Marine Kong is a 26‑episode Japanese television series that holds an important place in early tokusatsu history. Despite its significance as Japan’s earliest giant‑monster TV show, the vast majority of the series has unfortunately not survived into the modern era. Only three episodes 1, 2, and 13 are currently known to exist publicly, largely because they were released on VHS in the 1980s. The remaining episodes have never resurfaced in any official archive, private collection, or broadcast recording, making them some of the most elusive pieces of lost kaiju media.

Because of this, the chances of finding additional episodes are considered extremely low, but not impossible. Lost media occasionally resurfaces through unexpected sources such as old film reels, private collectors, or forgotten storage archives. If anyone ever discovers even a single missing episode or even a short clip, fragment, or off‑air recording it would be incredibly valuable to fans and others. Anyone who comes across such material is encouraged to upload it to the Internet Archive or YouTube so it can be preserved and shared with the wider community.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrjXXqg4eXM

The Transformers 4KProject have dedicated themselves to tracking down, and digitising the original 35mm film of the episodes, enabling them to preserve it all in 4K quality. Better than what's available right now I presume. These never seen before deleted scenes are courtesy of Paul Davids, G1 Writer and Production Coordinator, who permitted TF4KP to digitize his own personal film reel collection. Which is honestly pretty cool.

Season 2 Episode 45 of The Transformers Synopsis: After finding a new weapon, Megatron becomes infected with a strange disease... one he intends to use against the Autobots.

These are incredibly minor scenes that were presumbly cut for precious seconds of commercial space, but still. We have them now. A few frames appear to be missing, but the poster made it unclear if it was due to film degredation, or if they were simply not added to the film print due to the intention to cut them. The original Sunbow Productions show was rife with animation errors and gaffs, this episode being no exception, so a few missing frames wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

Edit: Looking at TF4KP's Twitter, these were small strips of film, not full prints. My bad.

Found

So Applebees and Chili's has these Ziosks that you use to pay for your meals, but they also let you play games on them for a whopping $2.99 (because of course they would charge for it if they could). Lots of these games are pretty unnotable and honestly just worse versions of already existing games, like "Tic Tac Mo" (tic tac toe but with Ys alongside Xs and Os), "zTrivia+", a complete ripoff of Subway Surfers, etc.

I first saw "Poke Go" on a post on r/crappyoffbrands, or maybe this other post on the same sub showing it being advertised on a Ziosk, presumably in either Chili's or Applebees. I went to Applebees around Christmas of 2024 and was able to play Poke Go on the Ziosk, and it was basically just a clone of Flow Free, but instead of connecting coloured circles, you connect together Pokémon that have been turned into what almost looks like rounded rectangle app icons. Some of the rounded rectangles appear to have been based on real Pokémen, but there is one that I could only describe as "Ugandan Knuckles ripoff" when I first played it.

Today (Dec 27, 2025) I went to Applebees again and realized that Poke Go has been removed from the Ziosks, possibly due to fear induced by the Palworld lawsuits or maybe a silent DMCA. Maybe it could have still been there, but it wasn't advertised to me before I would have coughed up $2.99, so I didn't want to do it this time. I knew that my sister had recorded footage last time I was at Applebees of me playing Poke Go and a few other Ziosk games, but she has since lost the footage.

But all hope is not lost! I was doing a little bit more Google searching and found this community post on the Pokémon Fandom Wiki, which shows that:

  1. the game actually existed in Chili's and Applebees Ziosks

  2. shows pictures of the title screen AND GAMEPLAY

  3. mentions the developer being "Inlogic Studios" (which I vaguely remember seeing that too when I was able to play). There is a company called Inlogic Software that appears to be from Slovakia and makes a lot of shovelware mobile titles, so I think that is the Inlogic I am looking for

Poke Go, along with other games on these Ziosks, appear to be developed and released exclusively for these nuggets and never made it online, even if in APK format. The only way that could happen is if someone steals & dumps the APK from a Ziosk, or someone saves a Ziosk from getting thrown out many years from now & dumps the APK, or if the files on Inlogic's server leak. Someone else thought of dumping these games but they were never able to. I could just play games on my 3DS or even just my phone and get a far superior experience, but I just like the novelty of playing games that would never last, on a device only meant to accept credit cards and keep the toddlers quiet. If you have any more screenshots, gameplay videos, or maybe even THE ENTIRE APK (would probably be next to impossible), that would be much appreciated!

EDIT: I have found a TikTok SHOWING THE AUTODEMO / ATTRACT MODE GAMEPLAY. Here is another TikTok showing gameplay. And here is another TikTok gameplay screenshot

[partially lost] Adobe Flash 9: Public Alpha ActionScript 3.0 Preview [partially lost] Adobe Flash 9: Public Alpha ActionScript 3.0 Preview
Software

Adobe Flash 9 Public Alpha (ActionScript 3.0 Preview) was a pre-release version of Adobe Flash Professional designed to give users an early look at the upcoming ActionScript 3.0 features. Released publicly on Adobe Labs in mid-2006, it had a user interface very similar to Flash 8 but included new tools and capabilities for developers to experiment with the next-generation scripting language.

Though officially announced and distributed, the software never made it to a final release under this version — and today, the actual program files are lost. Only a handful of screenshots, announcement pages, and forum posts remain, showing the main menu, a snippet of the timeline, and the loading screen. Its public alpha status means it was meant for general testing and feedback, but after the release of Flash CS3 in April 2007, Adobe removed the files and closed the associated forum.

[FOUND] El Chavo del Ocho - Goteras en la casa de Don Ramon (1973) [FOUND] El Chavo del Ocho - Goteras en la casa de Don Ramon (1973)
Found

Hello Everyone! If you’re a fan of Chespirito and his show “El Chavo del Ocho”, I’ve got some good news for you! The episode “Goteras en casa de Don Ramón” from 1973, one of the most famous lost episodes of El Chavo, has been found!

The episode was found by a Puerto Rican user named “Scoobyonda” at a forum about Chespirito. He found it in a VHS tape which had a recording of this episode being broadcast in Telemundo. The recording is from around 1991.

This episode was remade in 1978, but the original 1973 episode was lost until yesterday. Before it being found, the only thing we knew about this episode was a synopsis of it in Mexican TV Guides and it gained certain popularity between lost episodes. You can watch it on YouTube: https://youtu.be/OUbOEsOquu0?si=ti_g3sm6LNci8xpK

[unreleased media] Original version of Earth Island from 'My Singing Monsters' [unreleased media] Original version of Earth Island from 'My Singing Monsters'
Music

One of the biggest mobile games of all time, My Singing Monsters (2012), has a few cases of lost media but I don't think I've seen anyone talk about this yet. My Singing Monsters is of course known for its singing monsters and therefore its songs, well one of them, Earth Island was originally composed by the creator of the game, Dave Kerr, when he was 16 years old making the first ever version of the song over 30 years old as of now, Dave was 16 in 1991. Dave stated that the core of the song and melody were originally composed for a musical called 'Freaks' but the song was never completed, Dave also stated that he may have a recording of the unfinished song being performed. So essentially what I'm posting about is the original version of the song from 1991, and the recording Dave Kerr may have in his possession of the song being performed.

This being out there would be insane would for the msm community, so I'm hoping to bring more eyes to it. That being said like literally any other case like this do not harass Dave or anyone involved. I'm sure people have asked him about it before and im sure he doesn't mind but if anyone does decide to ask, please be respectful.

[partially lost] 60 minutes segment about CECOT Prison in Honduras [partially lost] 60 minutes segment about CECOT Prison in Honduras
Found

I am looking for the 60 Minutes segment on Venezuelans being sent to the CECOT prison in Honduras. This media was apparently not aired on 60 Minutes, being pulled at the last minute due to CBS not wishing to anger the Trump administration.

It was available on YouTube up until today, December 26, 2025. This is an important piece of media and details the inhumane conditions that inmates at the Honduran prison must endure and the fact that Venezuelans who were ostensibly gang members where sent there, even though they had no connection with Honduras.

The segment also showed that many of the Venezuelans were not Tren Agua members are claimed by the Trump administration.

Recordings

“I have a late Christmas Present for all of you! In the next couple of days, I'll be uploading never before seen footage from PRIDE: CRITICAL COUNTDOWN 2004.

No, this isn't a joke. In October, I received an incredible gift: hours of never before seen footage recorded by a cameraman who worked for Pride. The footage had sat dormant in his basement until he messaged me and asked would I like to have it! Once he transferred the footage from tape to digital, I set about editing it into a complete film.

This is all ringside footage, as close to the action as possible, featuring up close shots of the Randleman gigasuplex, and the Rampage slam.

There is no commentary track, this is raw, unfiltered footage: you can hear every bit of dialogue from the fighters, and their corners as the fights happen. There's also never before seen rarities like backstage footage of the Pride ring girls warming up for the show, Coleman and Randleman warming up by having a grappling session, Mauro and Bas hanging out, and Rampage Jackson slapping fans (by request), post show! This is an incredible find for Pride fans, and for the sake of preservation, I'm uploading the entire thing, with minimal edits.

This wont be like my usual videos, there's no commentary from me, because this kind of footage needs to be preserved as it was, a time capsule to one of the best events Pride ever staged.

COMING VERY SOON”

This is a great find for mma fans who are interested in the behind the scenes

[Partially Lost] Phineas and Ferb flash game from 2012 [Partially Lost] Phineas and Ferb flash game from 2012
Found

I’ve been trying to track down an old Flash game I used to play when I was a kid, but I have no leads and have been searching for years without success. From what I can remember, it was a Phineas and Ferb game, and at least one part of the game let you customize animals like Dogs and Hamsters. You could dress them up and even turn them into Robots or Mechanical Versions of themselves, which is one of the things I remember most clearly. I’m not sure what the title was, but I played it around 2011 to 2013, and it may have been hosted on the official disney website back then. I haven’t been able to find any definitive information about it anywhere, and I’d really love help identifying this game.

Various Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Lost Media and the lore of the elusive cut character, the Jabberwocky [partially lost] Various Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Lost Media and the lore of the elusive cut character, the Jabberwocky [partially lost]
Animation

Forgive me if it sounds like a big ol ramble lol; I should be asleep but this topic is so intriguing, I just have to see if anyone else knows about it and what not so I’m basically just spewing whatever I know about this topic + some theories to see if a conversation can get going

Like Alice, I legitimately went down a rabbit hole regarding this topic; what I found is that this topic is some of the most understudied in terms of Disney lost media, which is incredibly surprising considering it’s connected to one of the most well known works of the company. I must shout out raretendo6879 on YouTube for making the most thorough compilation of Alice in Wonderland lost media I’ve seen. Here’s the video in question: https://youtu.be/fhyepuS4hhA?si=U1NkR_6Q57jqIXan

So for reference, I originally posted on a different subreddit; I was inquiring about an animation cel that caught my eye while browsing Ebay: https://ebay.us/m/aCi5Ru

This thing looked so darn weird, I had to know more about it; I looooove Alice in Wonderland but I’ve never seen anything like this before. I looked at the listing, which stated: “This animation cell is from Disney's 1980 film : Alice in Wonderland "For dinner or for dinner"

Furthermore, it elaborated on the Jabberwocky character seen with Alice in the cel: “The Jabberwock dragon was a villain character which was deleted from the original 1951 Disney film "Alice in Wonderland". Film producers decided in late production that the character Jabberwock was too scary for the films intended audience and the scene too violent. Only one original cel from that deleted 1951 scene has ever been brought to market, selling in 2012 for over $15k by Heritage auctions.”

I was stoked because, quite frankly, as a fan of both the books and the movie, I always wanted to see a Disney Golden Age Era version of the dragon- I felt it was sorely missed in the movie; finding out that at the end, they actually DID end up doing something with him made me excited to see the films he was featured in

However, there was a problem; I scoured the internet and couldn’t find this “For Dinner or For Dinner” film that was mentioned in the listing. I made my post, was directed to raretendo’s video about the topic, and realized that this cel actually came from a piece of lost Disney media. I was stunned because honestly, I’m not new to Disney lost media whatsoever and thought I was familiar with a good chunk of it considering how well the company documents its projects; furthermore, considering it was from one of the company’s most iconic films, I thought that this would have been a more well known topic. However, what I found is that this topic has been seemingly forgotten to time; nevertheless, as I saw in the comments of the aforementioned video, there absolutely are people who remember seeing this film; this confirms that not only were these cels made, but the project it was for came to fruition and was actually shown to people, namely children in schools as most of the lost media discussed here ended up being part of a Disney sponsored educational campaign for schools.

Using the video as a guide, I looked into other cels connected to the film or the Jabberwocky in general; like I stated earlier in the post, there was actually a cel sold on Heritage Auctions featuring the Jabberwocky and Alice waaaaaaaay back in 2012. Comparing this cel with the one on Ebay made me POTENTIALLY realize something: these cels, though legitimately from Disney, look like they’re from two different projects. This is somewhat confirmed based on my research but at this point in the post, I want to make something abundantly clear: I will try my best to give as accurate information as I can- however, I am going to delve into speculation at this point forward. TAKE WHAT I SAY WITH A GRAIN OF SALT; this is such an obscure topic that there is naturally more than ample room for error.

That said, I want to bring your attention to these cels:

https://comics.ha.com/itm/animation-art/production-cel/alice-in-communication-land-alice-production-cel-and-key-master-background-walt-disney-1976-/a/7235-99711.s

https://wonderland.fandom.com/wiki/Jabberwocky_(1951) (For this one, pay attention to the Jabberwocky pic on the wiki)

According to raretendo’s video, amongst the lost media of the franchise, there are two lost films I’d like to point out: “For dinner or for dinner” and “Alice in communication land”. Once again these are both films suspected to have been shown to schools, as evidenced by a magazine clipping in the video giving teachers directions for class activities to do after showing the film and as evidenced by people’s recollection of the films themselves. “Alice in communication land”, released on 1976(?), seemed to have had animated, “PowerPoint-esque”, and hybrid segments and was focused on the topic of teaching children how to exercise clarity in their speech; “For dinner or For dinner”, released on 1980, was recollected to be very “PowerPoint-esque” in that it was a collection of pictures with overlying narration; the topic was similar to the 1976 film in that it was primarily about clarity of speech. There are different accounts about what the actual plot was of these films so I’m not going to get into that as they kind of melt into one another for reasons I will touch on later here. However, one thing to note is that there is tentative confirmation that the Jabberwocky appeared separately in both films; on the folder seen in the eBay listing in the third link I sent in the list above, you can see the words “Twas Brillig”. In the original Ebay listing that sparked this search for me, the one with the goofier version of the dragon, the folder featured the title “For Dinner or For Dinner”. The source of the later is self explanatory but what about the former? For that, I bring your attention to yet another cel:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/375924700558

Supposedly, this is a cel from “Alice in Communication land”; interestingly, if you draw your attention to the top left corner, you can see “‘Twas Brillig” written upside down (apparently this Cheshire Cat scene was supposed to be upside down). Additionally, if you compare the 4th cel in the aforementioned list, which is a Communication land cel, and the actual picture of the Jabberwocky as seen in the Wiki I posted, you can see that the same exact background art is used for both cels (which begs the question, where is THAT Jabberwocky cel? I personally haven’t found it sold yet- it appears in the wiki and that’s it). So there’s a possibility that the “scarier”Jabberwocky was used in “Communication land” and that the goofier one was used in “For dinner or for dinner”; this would explain the difference in color values as the “Communication land” one looked more cinematic for lack of a better word, which in part leads me to believe that the one sold in 2012 was also from “Communication land” as both the backgrounds and the colors match.

I then began delving more into the history of “Communication land” as that seemed to have more substance in terms of featuring the elusive Jabberwocky than “For Dinner or For Dinner”. As I compared the non-Jabberwocky cels of this project, I noticed something.

For reference, I’ve watched Alice in Wonderland an absurd amount of times, so I caught on quickly to the fact that they traced a good chunk of the frames from the original movie; they did this as well in “For Dinner or For Dinner” but for whatever reason, I felt that “Communication-land” had a glaring amount of reused frames. Again, most were copied but I suspect that some were repurposed “rejected” frames from the original movie; in a sequence supposedly featured in the lost film, there is a nearly identical recreation (in terms of cels) of the walrus and the carpenter:

https://www.artnet.com/artists/walt-disney-studios/alice-in-communication-land-playing-walrus-and-REwOGbGvVyEPRWZmOVd6Qg2

However, in the original film, despite the frames looking nearly identical, the walrus doesn’t open his mouth and the carpenter doesn’t smile but, rather, grimaces; by that metric, we can make the conclusion that these frames were traced but I feel like there’s something worth to note before automatically doing that. If you slow down the sequence in the original movie and pay attention to the carpenter’s fingers as he’s taking off his shoe, you can note that, interestingly, his fingers phase in and out; at the exact frame in the original film that is being compared with the “Communication land” version, he has his fingers. However! In the “Communication land” version, he doesn’t have his fingers, which makes me beg the question as to whether or not that is, in fact, a repurposed frame from the original movie that was taken out in favor of the aforementioned “grimacing” frame.

Several other things to note before making my final point:

*Correct me if I’m wrong, but I have never seen another Disney property be subject of reused frames as much as Alice in Wonderland; I know especially in the 70s they’d reuse animation but it wasn’t, like, straight up tracing (or perhaps reusing) the frame- even in their other educational shorts, I haven’t really seen that. Again, I could be horrifically wrong lol

*The song for the Jabberwocky actually was made for the film! https://youtu.be/y_gyHtI4hwA?si=wvnzejS_ImP1Vhts It was cut from the film around 1947, around 3 years prior to the original movie but yeah, they even had a voice actor planned for the character: Stan Freberg! They had every intention to include the character; a storyboard of the Jabberwocky scene (as seen on the wiki), and multiple concept art was made and everything, albeit with wildly different designs

  • There was a lot of back and forth regarding the design; a lot of goofy/experimental concept art of the creature was made and a piece of Jabberwocky concept art is known to have been reused, namely in the official Disney Jabberwocky poem (also seen in the wiki). Again, super different design. Additionally, there was a lot of back and forth regarding whether or not to make the Jabberwocky menacing, silly, or both. One thing that was consistently mentioned during the research was the fact that the Jabberwocky was supposed to be threatening and chasing Alice all throughout Tugley wood after she left the Mad Hatter/March Hare tea party in the original film.

  • This is incredibly subjective but I can’t help but notice the wildly differing quality of cels connected to “Communication land”; Alice, the walrus, and the carpenter are sometimes so off model, which is expected from a lower budget educational film, even if it is from Disney. In contrast, from what I can find in terms of the Jabberwocky cels in “Communication land”, they are consistently “cinematic” imo- down to the color choice; I can’t help but to feel as if I’m looking at a frame of the original movie when I look at them.

So with alllllll of this information, two overall questions remain on my end:

  • Where are those lost films?

  • Most intriguingly imo, are the “Communication land” Jabberwocky cels repurposed cels from the original 1951 movie? Is this the actual deleted/cut scene repurposed for another project?

Let me know what yall think and most importantly, if you guys know something that wasn’t mentioned or wish to clarify something that was said, please comment! I’m not an expert in things like this! I consume a lot of content about lost media but I am in no way an expert!!!! However, I just wanted to bring this topic to yall because honestly I feel like it’s grossly overlooked despite being incredibly interesting

Youtube

[Partially Lost] Looking for any help on finding a lost PSP-exclusive comic [Partially Lost] Looking for any help on finding a lost PSP-exclusive comic
Comics

Sector 97 was a PSP comic launched in 2005 featuring the then-current F1 World Champion, Fernando Alonso, in an intergalactic space adventure. In the story, he and a group of beings from all over the galaxy are tasked with stopping a mysterious enemy from taking over the universe.

The comic had 12 issues, with only one receiving a limited physical release, while the rest were available exclusively on a now long-lost website and on the PSP.

A group of people and I have been trying to find some kind of archive of the full comic for about half a year. So far, all we have been able to find is the first issue, a few random pages from other issues, and some press kits containing artwork and related material.

We’ve recently hit a bit of a roadblock, as we believe we’ve already found everything that’s currently available online. At this point, we’re hoping someone here might have additional leads, old backups, personal archives, or even ideas on other places we could search. We’re not expecting a complete archive to suddenly appear, but any pointers or similar preservation success stories would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for reading this, and happy New Year!

[talk] Are search engine ads useful for asking for lost media? [talk] Are search engine ads useful for asking for lost media?
Internet Media

There is a piece of lost media many people in Germany are looking for. Unfortunately, no one in the German lost media community found it so far. Probably whoever out there happens to have it doesn't know it is sought after.

This piece of lost media is a YouTube video that had a medium six-digit view count, from a channel that had almost half a million subscribers at the time it was released, and now has over a million subscribers, so there is a realistic chance someone out there has preserved it.

An idea in the back of my mind was to ask for it through the Internet megaphone: a search engine advertisement.

Someone searching for specific terms would get an advertisement that asks them if they have a copy of said video.

The advertisement could look similar to this:

Do you have a copy of "[video title]" by "[creator]"?

or

We are looking for the video "[video title]" by "[creator]". Please send us a copy if you have it.

Followed by contact details.

Given that this piece of lost media is a YouTube video, I highly doubt Google would allow it to be advertised on their platform because they are opposed to people having permanent local backups of YouTube videos outside their ecosystem, nor do I trust Google with my real-life identity (which they require advertisers to disclose).

Therefore, I would have to resort to alternatives like Bing and DuckDuckGo. DuckDuckGo loads advertisements from Bing from what I understand.

Do you have experience asking for lost media through search engine ads? Do you recommend it? How do you imagine such an ad would look like?

[Unreleased media]] raunchier original script of Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer (2000 TV special) [Unreleased media]] raunchier original script of Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer (2000 TV special)
Television

When Elmo Shropshire who wrote the original song "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" set his sights on adapting the song as an animated Christmas Special, his original pitch was more in line with South Park or Family Guy and featured a much crueler and more abrasive style of humor. The producers apparently decided to hire writers to tone down Shropshire's premise to make something that was broader and more accessible to family audiences which probably explains why there's so odd relics left over like during the song sequence for "Grandma's Spending Christmas With The Superstars" that ends with Grandma's underwear flying in from off camera. Shropshire felt the special would've been funnier had they kept the more risque humor of the original pitch, but was okay with the end result.

Television

For those of you that don't know Malcolm in the Middle is an early 2000's sitcom starring celebrities such as Bryan Cranston and Frankie Muniz where the main family has never had their last name officially revealed in the show.

I recently came across a video which I will link that explains the "last name mystery" of the "Malcolm in the Middle" family. At the 3:00 mark he mentions that there were advertisements from the broadcasting station "SkyOne" which mentioned both "The Simpsons" and "The Wilkersons" family in ads as they were considered "family hour" during the broadcasting schedule and advertising.

However, he was unable to confirm this actually existed, but explained that there is plenty of claims of people saying it did exist. If this actually existed then it would confirm the last names of Malcolm's family through advertising.

Wondering if anyone has came across these ads. It would be great to confirm if these really existed.

The Amateur surgeon series is a series of games that parodies the Trauma Center Games published by Adult Swim. In the IOS version of the third game there was a collaboration with the app pocket god that you unlock shortly after beating some levels. A year ago someone gave me the files of the IOS version that include the pocket god update. I lost interest in it over time but I came back to it to ask if someone could play it. It is pretty Gory but cartoonish at the same time so if you get grossed out by organs and bones and stuff like that I’d recommend not playing. The files are right here

One of my all time favorite albums back in college was from a small band called Nural. The album was Entitlement B-sides and was released in 2010 under Hopeless Records. The band broke up sometime after that but made a comeback in 2023. After their comeback they re-released their album Entitlement and dropped most of the songs off of B-sides. Calmer Waters is still on YouTube. I have struggled to find any of the other missing songs though and would greatly appreciate any help or pointers on finding the rest of the album. I have tried contacting the band but have been unsuccessful. I am unable to attack any images to this post so I will add the list of songs to this post.

  1. This is the Way

  2. Godspeed

  3. Adriana

  4. Kids These Days

  5. Calmer Waters - (Still on YouTube)

  6. Here Goes Nothing

  7. Can't Make You Change

  8. FU Pay Me

  9. Kylifornia

  10. Calm in Your Eyes

  11. Stop Me When You've Had Enough - (included in re-release)

  12. Say What You Will - (Lead singer has a version posted)

Thanks in advance for any help. I've been looking for these since their comeback in 2023 but haven't had any luck.

While browsing YouTube, I recently found a fragment of an unaudio scene from the unfinished Dreamworks production B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations, featuring a character who hasn't appeared in previously unreleased clips. There are also scenes visible, some rendered, others not. I'm putting the link below.

I hope that in the near future we will see new unfinished fragments put together chronologically so that we can imagine what BOO was supposed to look like in reality, which would allow us to answer the question whether a project of an animated film for children in the form of Ghost Busters would be worth attention.

General Context:

Kenshokai is a cult in Japan, they're a fringe split-off from Nichiren Shoshu. tl;dr : they believe nichiren was the REAL buddha -not the Indian prince- and exclusively revere the lotus sutra + chant Daimoku mantra. Kenshokai is considered extremely nationalist; the cult's goal is to have the Emperor of Japan make a "national ordination plattform" and basically convert all japanese to nichiren buddhism, and worship the lotus sutra. this new japan ,in turn, will convert the world.

they're also extremely paranoid about russia\north korea\china destroying japan.

This play is from a children's holiday camp (or similar)- it features off-brand characters\no licence paid, such as beloved children's character Doraemon. The footage is not 100% complete, and it seems the cult itself wanted to destroy the footages? as they did something illegal (copyright laws)-

ormer nursery school teachers from the girls' division and members of the theater troupe performed a show dressed in Anpanman costumes.

In those kind of shows, the villain " Daisaku Ikeda " always appeared at the end.

The story featured a man playing the role of Daisaku Ikeda appearing wearing a university cap and many medals , and Anpanman defeating him.

It's a kind of brainwashing to instill in children the idea that " Daisaku Ikeda = evil person."

So stupid...

The other thing I remember is

She even did a parody of Sailor Moon 's song " Otome no Policy " with lyrics that said, "Do your best to persuade your mother !" and performed it in front of her mother...

Now that I think about it, it seems like they were trying to brainwash children!

I also participated in a training camp for the girls' division, where we were made to practice " Hymn of Love ."

It was something like, "It's Asai-sensei's favorite song, so all the girls' division members are going to sing it together."

"When Asai Sensei heard our hymn of love , he was moved to tears (ToT)"

Asai was the leader of Kenshokai. Ikeda was the leader of SGI (soka gakkai), a rivel Nichiren Shoshu split off\ group.

Mike Douglas Show 6.21 & 6.22 [fully lost] Mike Douglas Show 6.21 & 6.22 [fully lost]
Television

Hello everyone! I’m looking for two specific episodes of The Mike Douglas Show for a friend, specifically 6.21 and 6.22, October 3rd/4th 1966. Rosemary Clooney was co-host.

Apparently her mother has a very clear recollection of these episodes. My friend claims that Rosemary references getting ice cream with Pepsi in Italy, which in her view would backdate the invention of Pilk by several decades. Personally I think that would be very funny.

As far as I can tell, these are lost, impossible to find. But if anyone could dredge them up it would be this sub. Thanks! 🫶🏻

YOUNG STONEY - Time Alone Lyrics and Tracklist | Genius

Hey,

I've been trying to find this album for the last few months. It seems to me that this album is fully lost unless archived. The reason I'm interested in this album is because of the line:

"Joker is my brother and LB is like my best friend"

on the track 5, Jodeci. My dear friend, who goes by the name L.B., used to also go by Joker and I found it humorous. But, when I tried to listen to the song itself, the YouTube video link said that the video is unavailable. The last activity of a related person was from September 12, 2020 when a SoundCloud account Stoneyyy Wright posted the songs SLEEP and STICK FIGURES, both produced by someone who goes by WOODPECKER.

That is what I thought until I stumbled upon the Genius contributor page of a StoneyyyWright. Their last activity was on September 22, 2020, 10 days after the two aforementioned tracks. They had added annotations to 11 of their songs.

[FULLY LOST] JOY DIVISION LIVE AT PLAN K, 1979 [FULLY LOST] JOY DIVISION LIVE AT PLAN K, 1979
Music

FULLY LOST: Joy Division, Plan K October 1979 video

On October 16 1979, post-punk pioneers Joy Division performed at Plan K, a former sugar refinery-turned concert venue in Brussels, Belgium. This performance is notable, as not only was it the band’s first gig abroad, it was also *recorded in full*. This complete recording has never been released, allegedly due to poor audio quality.

Short clips have surfaced of this performance online, which include a little under a minute of Wilderness, and 14 seconds of Colony. The VHS release Here Are The Young Men also includes a short, slowed-down clip of this concert. However, the full performance remains lost.

An audio recording of this show is rumoured to have been uploaded online somewhere, but it has since been taken down.

In 2010, an exhibition on the band in Macclesfield, England did a showing of the full Plan K film to a small audience. While cameras were prohibited at this exhibition, an audience recording may exist. However, due to construction in the area at the time, power was cut from the building, and only 30 minutes of the performance were shown.

The full recording of this performance likely still exists, however for multiple reasons has not had an official release, and I believe the owners are asking for a hefty price for it. There are many Joy Division concert audio bootlegs out there, however video footage of the band is extremely rare, let alone an entire concert recording.

I can't find anything about it, except for articles referencing it, and an interview with a short clip in it. It isn't an adult video, I promise. Me and some friends found it on wikipedia and thought it seemed funny. It's about adult actress Demia Delia, aka Gina Rodriguez' work-life balance. I looked at a bunch of piracy sites and stuff and couldn't find it. Apparently Crackle.com went bankrupt in 2024. Allegedly, Sony owns the rights to it now. Nothing on ebay or facebook marketplace either. IMDB says 13 episodes exist.

[Fully lost] "Shame On You" segment about GTA: Vice City, November 6th 2003 [Fully lost] "Shame On You" segment about GTA: Vice City, November 6th 2003
Television

On November 6th 2003, WCBS-TV aired a "Shame on You" segment (hosted by Arnold Diaz) about alleged racism in the videogame GTA: Vice City. Basically, there's a subplot in the story mode involving a Haitian/Cuban gang war, with dialogue and text lines saying something like "KILL ALL THE HAITIANS" or "I hate those damn Haitians". This started a huge backlash from the Haitian-American community, and in reaction Rockstar Games ended up apologizing and deleted all these texts in subsequent versions of the game.

I haven't managed to find the segment online.

My progress so far:

I checked the Wayback Machine of the CBS New York. The page used to post the transcript for each segment, with a link to download the actual video. It seems that the transcript page wasn't archived, but the video may be there [one has to go deeper into the WM links for that page]. This page seems to have copied and pasted the transcript from the website, so at least we have that.

I also looked for a WCBS-TV full archive from November 6th 2003, but didn't found anything. I'll try to look in archives from the following month when the controversy was still ongoing, since news channel tend to repeat their content if they're still relevant (maybe some other network asked them to use the content, who knows)

[Partially Lost] Nancy Kerrigan: Dreams on Ice (1995 TV Special) [Partially Lost] Nancy Kerrigan: Dreams on Ice (1995 TV Special)
Found

Hello r/lostmedia,

I’m requesting assistance locating Nancy Kerrigan: Dreams on Ice, a mid-1990s televised ice-skating special starring Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan.

Nancy Kerrigan: Dreams on Ice was a professionally produced ice show featuring Nancy Kerrigan, created and staged after the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics. It was filmed in front of a live audience and later broadcast on U.S. television.

Contemporary TV listings from 1995 list Nancy Kerrigan: Dreams on Ice as a broadcast special (commonly attributed to NBC or syndication). Multiple newspaper archives reference the program by name in television schedules and entertainment listings.

The special is referenced in skating fan communities and archived forum discussions as a televised event. Despite this documentation, no full recording appears to be publicly accessible—not on YouTube, archive.org, commercial streaming platforms, or known home-media releases. Only still photographs, brief promotional mentions, and schedule listings survive. I previously had this recorded on a VHS as a child, but we have been unable to locate it in the last several years.

This special represents an important artifact of 1990s sports media, celebrity rehabilitation narratives, and women’s figure skating history following one of the most publicized moments in Olympic history. Its apparent disappearance makes it a strong candidate for legitimately lost broadcast media.

I’m hoping someone may have their own VHS recording or similar.

Animation

Hello all! I am new to this sub but this has been bothering me for a very long time. Back when I was a child in Wisconsin in the mid to late 2000s, we watched a psa/ child safety video about stranger danger and predators and such. It was called For Pete’s sake, tell! The only reason u know this is because someone else on Reddit asked r/tipofmytongue and all that came out of it was an archive of old psa videos that are almost certainly lost as well. I really want to find this video again as it really affected me as a kid, and my memories of it get fuzzier and fuzzier as time goes on. I figured I’d cast a line to see if anyone else remembers or possibly has some information about it. What do I know is it’s from 1982 and adapted from a book by Elaine Krause. It was about 15 minutes in length, according to a found library listing.

Here is a link to said archival page:

And here is a link to an actual library listing that has the info but no found copies:

If anyone knows anything I would be supremely grateful.

im currently searching for “Metal Days” (メタル・デイズ), an obscure 8mm student film made in the mid-1980s by Shozin Fukui (964 Pinocchio, Rubber’s Lover).

Metal Days has no known footage and its only been screened once. there are roughly 100 vhs copies out there.

From what i can find multiple people have contacted shozin and Honekoubou (the company behind the movie) and they have been saying for a very long time that there looking into it, but never made a official statement about it.

This year there has been a screening, but nothing came out of it and it also wasnt the full movie but a cutdown version.

I’m now digging into Japanese-language sources (blogs, archives, old festival records), but I wanted to post here in case to get people to join the search.

Any leads, translations, or archive tips are appreciated. Even confirmation details would help a lot. I hope that we can get a search going for this.

It was briefly available for a closed beta test in South Korea back in October 2018, but then the full game was cancelled in 2019.

However, many of the 3D character models, along with planned future content (such as Mega Man 9, Darkstalkers, Star Gladiator, Arcade Bionic Commando, Captain Commando, Battle Circuit, Resident Evil 4, Devil May Cry, Ace Attorney, Breath of Fire, and others), are still embedded inside the game's .OBB / cache data.

While the game is cancelled, the 3D models can be repurposed for the community of each Capcom franchise,

and perhaps more, considering that some of the characters that were featured are now in full modern 3D for the very first time in this game.

I tried contacting many people for 2 years, but sadly I haven't been able to get much results.

If anyone is interested in my quest to find and preserve the game's data file when the server was still active,

that'll be wonderful. 🙏

[fully lost] Destiny’s Child opening for Boys II Men on July 6th, 1998 [fully lost] Destiny’s Child opening for Boys II Men on July 6th, 1998
Internet Media

There are multiple people across platforms (2 on Reddit, a few on Facebook and one TikTok comment that sent me down this entire rabbit hole) who remember Destiny’s Child opening for Boyz II Men at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Middletown, NY on July 6, 1998.

Boyz II Men playing at that date and venue is confirmed, but I can’t find any official record listing Destiny’s Child as an opener and there don’t seem to be any photos or videos from this show at all.

Since it was a fairgrounds concert and not a major televised event, it’s possible nothing was professionally recorded. Curious if any photographic evidence of this exists online

Hello all! This is The Wrestlestorian!

This is a match extremely early into the career of Vincent Lopez, and would have been filmed not to long after his victory against Man Mountain Dean where he won the world's heavyweight belt. As a wrestling historian it is extremely rare if not unheard of to uncover a match two years into the career of a famous 1930's pro wrestler.

This is a commercially released 8mm film reel that I have recently acquired. Daniel "Vincent" Lopez (210) is a relatively unknown pro wrestler born in Meridian, Idaho to Latin parents in 1908. Vincent Lopez begin wrestling in late 1933. Vincent would wrestle all around the world including: Asia, Canada, North and South America. Vincent Lopez in 1935 won the world's heavy weight belt in the international wrestling tournament occurring at Lou Daro's territory in L.A from Man Mountain Dean. Vincent Lopez would even be the first man to be managed by the legendary Ed "strangler" Lewis! Vincent would wrestle for an incredible 20+ years after his debut and passed away in 1980 at the ripe age of 71!

Vincent's incredible heat (heat means the angry felt towards a "bad guy wrestler" or heel) was known to led to riots: for example during a 2 out 3 falls match against the legendary Sándor Szabó. During their match Sándor Szabó would wrestled Vincent into the corner, which would cause the Referee to break up the illegal hold and would lead to Vincent being able win the first fall causing extreme jeers from the crowd. During the second fall the two fighters would end up wrestling back into the corner, and during the brawl, Szabo would end up accidently backhanding the referee as the ref tried to break up the two fighters. This resulted Sándor Szabó being disqualify giving the match to Vincent Lopez, and that's when the crowd turned on the referee, and Vincent Lopez. The crowd surrounded the box office demanding their money back and that promoters Ad Santel and Ernest Fedderson to show their faces. The police would have to give the four men: Ad Santel, Ernest Fedderson, Vincent Lopez, and the referee all police escorts out of the building while Sándor Szabó was being given the Hero's ovation that night by the crowd.

Jumping joe is the more known man with him being credited with the invention of the drop kick.

I have the match saved and upload on my Youtube channel, along with the rest of my personal film/tape library. I plan on uploading it to the internet achieve for anyone to download the footage. Feel free to use the tape/film footage as you please! wrestling history doesn't belong to anyone expect to the people. All I ask is to be credited!

[Fully Lost] Hotel Transylvania Facebook Social Game (2012) [Fully Lost] Hotel Transylvania Facebook Social Game (2012)
Video Games

So back in 2012 i religiously used to play the Hotel Transylvania Social Game. The game was made by Sony Pictures Interactive. You played as a hotel manager, you had to build rooms so more people would come stay in the hotel, baths, dining halls and all that good stuff. The game is NO LONGER ACCESSIBLE.

-The original Facebook page (facebook.com/hoteltgame) no longer hosts the game.
-The servers that powered the game have permanently shut down.
-No official offline, mobile, or PC version of the game has ever been released.

Currently, the game appears to be fully lost. Only screenshots, promotional material, and partial page snapshots exist.

I have personally checked:
-Wayback Machine(it says that snapshots of the game still exist, but it just points me to the old facebook login page)
-Flashpoint Archive(No preserved build of the Hotel Transylvania Facebook game is currently listed.) and a lot of forums.

So i can say, with certainty, there is no playable version of this game.

Im posting this here because, well, it's lost media and also to ask if anyone preserved a client build, archived the server files, worked on or remembers the game in detail, knows of private restoration projects.
If anyone has screenshots, videos, files, or any information, that would be extremely appreciated.

Video Games

PGA Tour 2K21 was a 2020 PGA Tour golf game by 2K and HB Studios. The game servers shut down in October 2025, making the MyCareer mode unplayable as it required internet to play, as well as thousands of custom courses from the game's course creator. The game was popular and has many YouTube videos of people playing the game's career mode, but it is now considered lost. The game has a very limited offline mode, and thus most of the game is unplayable after the servers shut down. I'd really like someone to bring it back, as other games have had the revival treatment.

[Partially Lost] Verizon WeatherLine DC, „GooooOOOD morning!“ announcer (Neal) [Partially Lost] Verizon WeatherLine DC, „GooooOOOD morning!“ announcer (Neal)
Audio

Heyo, guys!

I’m looking for recordings of the old Verizon Weatherline for the Washington DC metro area (number was (202) (301) or (703) 936-1212).

Specifically:

•	Human announcer (not TTS)

•	Includes the computerized female voice prompt “brought to you by Verizon”

•	Distinctive upbeat opener: “GoooooooOOOD morning!”

•	Likely early-mid 2000s, pre-shutdown (service terminated 1. July 2008)

•	Often remembered as voiced by “Neal” (Neal Pizzano) - usually he was on between 4:15 and 7:00am

I’ve already found one authentic Weatherline clip (~2008) from the DC metro area, but it’s lacking the classic „GoooOOD morning!“. Checked Internet Archive, YouTube, etc. - no dice.

https://telephoneworld.org/telephone-sounds/modern-north-american-telephone-sounds/time-temperature-weather-forecast-recordings/

-> the one under (202) 936-1212

Even a partial or unlabeled clip would be great! I’m really just looking for the „extra“ bits, the „gooood morning!“, „gooood evening!“, the St. Patrick’s day forecast in Irish brogue… those sorts of bits and bobs.

Honestly if anyone has any of these from any time after about 2002-ish, I’d love to hear them - one of those „unlocked nostalgia memories that you’ve not thought of in two decades“ would be much satisfied.

TIA!! :)

Television

I still haven't managed to find any actually watchable full episodes of this show anywhere it's completely absent from History TV's official site and app, and the only traces online are a handful of short "best moments" clips scattered across YouTube that barely give you a taste of the series.

I dug through multiple torrent sites like 1337x.to, ThePirateBay.org, and several others, but every single torrent I came across has an extremely low (or zero) seeder count, making downloads impossible without waiting days or weeks. I also checked all the online streaming/show sites listed on https://yarrlist.com/movies-and-tv-shows (things like watchseries.pe, sflix.ps, etc.), but nothing there has this particular series either.

There are definitely footprints and mentions of it existing out there in old forums and search results, yet no complete episodes seem to be available to stream or download properly. On top of that, I've scoured Reddit thoroughly and couldn't spot a single post or thread discussing this TV show, asking for links, or sharing episodes which just makes the whole thing feel even more frustrating.

[Fully Lost] [Screamer video-tutorial of the underworld of the Motel Jefferson of GTA San Andreas] [Fully Lost] [Screamer video-tutorial of the underworld of the Motel Jefferson of GTA San Andreas]
Youtube

The video starts with the author talking about the steps to enter the underground of GTA San Andreas, when he finally can enter the underground, he walked some milimeters and a ghost woman appeared and stared at CJ by some seconds too and then, it starts running towards him and catches him and the ultimate part was the screamer of the Exorcist. End.

Hints: 1 ) The video was made between 2009-2010 supposedly.

2 ) The video had 500 visits or even more.

3 ) The ghost woman seemed like the character from the first movie of the Exorcist.

4 ) The ghost woman and CJ were close to the two blue houses.

5 ) CJ started walking until some milimeters close to that red door and the ghost woman was in the inferior right corner, literally infront of CJ but far of him.

6 ) The images below is just a examples of how the video was looking but in different angle which was straight camera or too known as first persona infront of the ghost woman.

7 ) The ghost woman crawls like the Exorcist and it had the same size and the full form of the body.

8 ) The ghost woman had a white dress.

9 ) The video was likely in Spanish or English.

Also a link from a similar video: https://youtu.be/OeYCQzy3uNc?si=wBcHTtGNjYILt0bc

This is a similar video as a evidence some creators were putting screamers at the end of their videos in those years

But the original one was completelly different like I showed in the screenshots.

The pilot that's been missing for over 8 years.

I know this sounds silly because it's a show for 10-year-olds, but this unreleased Ben 10 pilot is something Ben 10 fans have been trying to find for years. All we know so far is that there are 3 screenshots of the pilot, some animation from a snippet, model sheets, and early versions of the aliens. From what we can see, this pilot looks like a classic Ben 10 episode called "Washington BC." The Ink Tank made a video showcasing this animation, which was discovered using the Wayback Machine while searching through old Flash games. You can watch their video for more information. There was a little box displaying some previously unseen animation from this pilot episode, and when you hover your mouse over it, it reveals a snippet of an early transformation of Four Arms, which is also featured in the Ben 10 intro. Duncan Rouleau was interviewed to promote the release of the Ben 10 reboot movie, "Ben 10 vs. the Universe," and was asked about the screenshots. He stated they were fan art, which quelled our curiosity for a year. Then, a tweet from another Ben 10 creator claimed that Gwen's shirt had to be changed from a mushroom to a cat due to drug use, which perfectly matched the screenshots we have. It's also known that the Ben 10 pilot episode aired on Cartoon Network, first as a special premiere on December 27, 2005 in the US, leading to the official series in January 2006, and then pre-released on the Cartoon Network LA website in July 2006 before its official launch in August. That's all we have. If you find anything—and I mean anything—please reply or contact someone.

Here's the video containing the animation snippet:

This is by far the most well known fact in gaming history that the iconic Mario voice would have sound Italian American and very rough sounding if it was not for Charles martinet portraying Mario in a more happy sounding Italian accent, this was because Charles had been the last to auditioned for mario and was almost late doing so. The question is if the tape itself is lost and if it’s stored somewhere, Charles himself has not mentioned this (at least to my understanding) so it’s possible that the tape will never be heard due to low demand.

It stars Paul Brown and Liz Smith. The series revolves around a family of pirates whose ship runs aground in North London, prompting them to take up residence in a council house on Wordsworth Terrace, a nearby street.

The imdb is https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0380944/?ref_=tt_ov_srs

I have already looked, such as the internet archive, googled extensively, checked multiple threads on the topic/mentioning it. Can't find full eposodes let alone seasons / series anywhere.

There are 3 seasons and 24 eposodes in total. If anyone has any id be very greatful if you could share

Thank you

[Fully Lost] Footage of Indonesian "Chief of Staff Chairman" executing peaceful student protester with knife. [Fully Lost] Footage of Indonesian "Chief of Staff Chairman" executing peaceful student protester with knife.
Internet Media

In a recent podcast (start at 1:53:00), CIA whistleblower, John Kiriakou, mentions a seemingly widely available and known video of the Indonesian "Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff" executing peaceful student protesters himself by stabbing them in the heart.

There are many immediately provable inconsistencies with his story, however the self detrimental and casual nature of his discussion of it leads to believe it isn't simply a wholly fabricated event.

I've spent significant time discussing with Indonesian friends and colleagues but so far none of them have any annectodal evidence/memories of the stabbing.

I am not a native Indonesian speaker, although my partner is, so I am having a much harder time digging for this media than I ordinarily would.

Some assumptions I've made along the way:

  1. He has mistakenly named Joko Widodo when in reality Prabowo Subianto fits the description more accurately.

  2. He mistakenly remembered "Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff". This position does not exist in Indonesian politics. However, Prabowo was the 'Chief of the Indonesian Armed Forces and Staff School' which is close enough to be a reasonable slip of the tongue/memory.

  3. This event is very likely in relation to either the 1997-98 activists kidnappings or the Trisakti shootings. Both have similar themes and timeframes to what John discussed. They also have multiple gaps in their stories that could quite plausibly contain the events John recounts, for example some of the students were tortured at mystery military sites and some were "disappeared" entirely.

I have encountered at least one Indonesian online who believes this footage/story has been erased from the internet by Prabowo using his wealth and newfound Presidential powers, which is what has lead me to consider this a possible "Lost Media".

While I am not 100% certain if it's existence, I believe the topic meets the subreddit's rules given there is an external reference (John Kiriakou) to it.

Thanks heaps!

Help tracking down a [partially lost] College Football game Help tracking down a [partially lost] College Football game

Hello everybody! I'm posting on this sub because I'm trying to find a somewhat obscure CFB game. I'm a big Appalachian State fan (have been going back many years) and I'm looking for a specific game we played at home against Wofford on Halloween 2008. Here are a few things I did find, but I can't find the full game anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ESPN Game Summary

App State's Post Game Hype Video (may contain audio from the broadcast?)

In depth summary/documentary about the game from Wofford (Contains quite a few clips and audio but still not the full thing)

[talk] trying to find a MLP horror video from the early 2010s [talk] trying to find a MLP horror video from the early 2010s
Youtube

I’ve been searching for almost a decade for a really specific horror My Little Pony animation or game video. It was the early 2010s. I was looking around on YouTube for My Little Pony stuff. I came across this video that I can still see so clearly in my head. I THINK it was called like “twilights nightmare” or something. The POV was in first person, as if we were looking through Twilight Sparkle’s eyes. Since then, I have NEVER been able to find it. The animation was not like typical MLP. It almost looked like GMOD or TLOU. I would say between 2010-2015. it was very very dark. the pov is walking straight. it’s is dark to the point it’s kinda hard to see. the pov looks to the right to see a bathroom stall. in the stall is a mutilated pony (who I remember being applejack). Has anyone ever seen or heard of this video?

Crazytown by Seth Kearsley [partially lost] Crazytown by Seth Kearsley [partially lost]
Films

Crazytown is a TV movie released on May 1st, 2013 by Seth Kearsley. Seth Kearsley is most known for directing the infamous Eight Crazy Nights movie, with Adam Sandler.

I have searched online, and can only find 3-4 screencaps of Crazytown from imdb. According to the imdb, which is basically the only place I can find any information on this movie, the production companies for it wete Concept Space / Prostranstvo ldey, Dojo Productions, and Electric Hot Dog. I've checked the website Seth owns, where he has a section of a ton of movies and animations he has worked on, and it wasn't there even. I would really appreciate it if anyone had any information on this movie, I honestly just want to watch it with my friend because it looks really bad.

Are You Afraid of the Dark (1990 Pilot) [Partially Lost] Are You Afraid of the Dark (1990 Pilot) [Partially Lost]
Television

I am looking for the PILOT episode of Are you Afraid of the Dark and not the one that aired in 1992 but the one that aired on Nickelodeon in 1990 and 1991 just once as part of Halloween Festivities as "The Haunting of Nickelodeon"in US and on YTV in Canada. Im guessing this was a kind of "proof of concept" that was later expanded into an entire series.

Here is where the pilot is mentioned in Ross Hull (one of the main actors) Instagram where he posted an interview from the Are You Afraid of the Dark Campfire Companion Book : https://www.instagram.com/p/BcaJojOHonQ/?hl=en

Here is a Short Clip: https://www.instagram.com/reels/CbtS2mBlNsW/

The Episode is "The Tale of the Twisted Claw" which is episode 4 in the 1992 run but it seems that segments of the Midnight Society were switched out for the 1992 release. So they used this story twice, once for the Pilot and then 2 years later once the show started in earnest.

Please let me know if you have any connections or if this is truly partially lost. The poster of the above clip mentioned they purchased a tape with this pilot on it so maybe they uploaded somewhere? if not maybe there are multiple copies floating around.

Thanks for the help!

[Fully lost] Macbeth: A Conjuring (2020) [Fully lost] Macbeth: A Conjuring (2020)
Recordings

In November 2020, the Globe Theatre streamed a socially distanced, semi-staged reading of Shakespeare's Macbeth at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, called Macbeth: A Conjuring. It starred the cast of their 2018/2019 production of the play: Paul Ready, Michelle Terry, Kit Young, etc. It was available to watch between November 5th and November 11th and since has disappeared.

The webpage of the production still exists: https://www.shakespearesglobe.com/whats-on/macbeth-a-conjuring-2020/, but the stream is nowhere to be found; it's not on their streaming service Globe Player or the Internet Archive. I've asked around on Tumblr, Reddit, and Discord, but no one has it anymore. Apart from some gifsets on Tumblr, there is no content of it available online.

There is another recording of Macbeth at the Globe in 2020 (starring Ekow Quartey, Elly Condron, etc.), that is not it. That's a pre-pandemic production filmed in February, and not the one I'm looking for.

If anyone happens to still have the recording, I'd be eternally grateful <3

[partially lost] The Weatherman's Umbrella 2016 [partially lost] The Weatherman's Umbrella 2016
Films

I'm posting here because I tried everything under the sun to find this movie. Still empty handed.

The film stars Lily Morrow as Sarah. Right now Lilly is signed at JYP entertainment in Korea and is performing as a singer with 5 other members in the group NMIXX.

This movie being one of her first career milestones I really hoped that it would be available somewhere but the major streaming sites don't seem to host it anymore.
There's also a whole catalogue of free streaming sites over on FMHY dot net, but they don't have it either.
Internet archive also turns up no results.

There are however a few sources I was able to come up with that prove this movie existed
There is this site.
On there you can find a Youtube link that directs you over to this channel. It seems to be specifically created for the movie's promotion.
This Youtube once again redirects to a dead link and a facebook page.

I'm trying to get a hold of this piece of media so that the fanbase of NMIXX can have easy access to the movie. I also thought about some more outlandish ways to achieve that.

Lily herself probably has a physical copy of it, though it is very hard to reach out to her. There is a messenger app called "Bubble for JYPnation" that allows fans to communicate directly with each o the artists. The chat isn't a one to one conversation though. It is a group chat where - due to the succes of NMIXX - messages easily get drowned out like twitch live chat. There is also a character limit per message. Good luck trying to explain to her what I just did up until this point. What's even worse is that the copy of the movie probably sits at her hometown in Marysville, while she resides in Korea.
And even if Lily finds out about her fans interest in the movie, there is a chance that she won't or can't make it publicly accessible.

There is however someone else in Marysville right now. It's her dad.
Although he is very proud of having Lily as his daughter, I do not want to bother him about this until all other options have been exhausted.

What also comes to mind is to periodically check Gumtree.com.au (australian facebook marketplace) or similar sites for the DVD until it comes up.

At this point I think those are all of my options. There also might be online content that is available on Australian territory that isn't available in my location (Switzerland)

If anyone is interested in helping me find this movie feel free to reach out or spare some time searching on your own terms.

Lostmedia community, thanks a lot in advance

Edit: somehow got CDs and DVDs mixed up + added a Facebook page

[fully lost] SewerReviewer's "Worst Media" series [fully lost] SewerReviewer's "Worst Media" series
Internet Media

If you don’t know, SewerReviewer is a YouTuber who makes videos discussing lost media, but ironically he himself has a lost series. I remember watching one video of the series around the time his first Me and My Friends video came out, which is what helped revive the search for that pilot.

Anyways, this lost series of his was called “Worst Media”, it has three episodes, one on “An Ant’s Life” (Bug’s Life rip-off), second on “M&M’s Beach Party” (Wii shovelware game) and the third I don’t remember, but from a capture I found on Internet Archive, the playlist lists three videos, so there definitely was a third one, and I would of not remembered the Ant’s Life review or this series if not for me finding the playlist, since originally this was only going to be about the M&M’s video. There also seems to be a video about Polybius that’s also no longer on his channel but I don’t care about that since that’s a whole other thing. These videos all came out before his video about the lost 3 2 1 Penguins pilot and they were the first publicly listed videos on his channel at the time.

All I remember is the M&M’s episode, the video was about him complaining about things in the game and it had lots of swearing which is very out of character and lots of crude jokes, basically just a ripoff of The Angry Video Game Nerd, and also it might of included real life footage, but I’m not sure.

I think the reason it was deleted is because of how crude it is and it didn’t fit his new style of content that’s more structured, it was probably just really bad and cringey which is why he deleted it. He probably doesn’t like the videos, but personally I found them sort of funny. I think he talked about them in an old livestream once saying he doesn’t really like them anymore, but can’t verify.

Did any of you remember watching these videos? Because I did but I barely remember anything, you can help give more information about it.

Here's the capture proving they and the Polybius video existed: https://web.archive.org/web/20210320125846/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCetf1SUxkgXAqgeUfXpWLAw

[partially lost] Torpedo Bay (1963 / 1964) [partially lost] Torpedo Bay (1963 / 1964)
Films

In 1963 James Mason (among others) starred in a movie about two submarine commanders engaged in battle during WW2, it was called Torpedo Bay (originally Beta Som as it was released in Italy in 1963 and later shown in the US in 1964). This would be James Mason’s second submarine movie after the critically acclaimed 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.

I’d really like to watch the English release but after multiple hours searching on every possible platform there appears to be no footage of this film available anywhere. There are stills, discussions, and details about it, but no actual video. What I did find was a DVD site selling it for $18, but it was a German dub (which I may still buy if nothing else turns up).

If anyone has any info about physical media releases for the film or any places I can watch it I’d be very appreciative.

Literature

I've developed a morbid interest in the tiny drug-fuelled self-trepanation subculture in the 1970s. Bart Huges' autobiography (Dutch librarian who decided to drill a hole into his skull in order to 'stay high permanently') was translated into English by Joe Mellen (another driller) but I haven't been able to find a copy of this online, and the original Dutch version only seems to occasionally go up on sale physically for hundreds or thousands of Euros. If a digitised version exists absolutely anywhere I would love to read it.

Have searched the Internet Archive and Anna's Archive with no luck yet, although i managed to find a copy of Mellen's own autobiography 'Bore Hole'

Music

I was trying to scrape off as much data as i could from CDs that are suffering from "Disk Rot" as a way to make my dad happy by finding his old covers with the Acid PRO projects and found these tracks with other music (they were in a folder with other bands music but this sound like some sort of videogames' OST). He didn't make them.

What are they?

Earthworm Jim 3D Beta and Cut Content [partially lost] Earthworm Jim 3D Beta and Cut Content [partially lost]
Video Games

Hello. I’m Ashe Penndale, hobbyist obscure media archivist and massive Earthworm Jim fan. Have been the former since my age hit the double digits.

Me and a few others online have been gathering info regarding the lost beta builds and content surrounding Earthworm Jim 3D and have gathered a rather sizable archive, information put into a somewhat cohesive timeline of its production and known cut content from 1997 to its official release date, magazine articles, screenshots and videos. It does have code of the FINAL RELEASED version, not the beta. I haven’t found that yet, that’s why I’m posting this all here to spread the word and get answers as to if the beta builds still exist or not. I’m happy with either answer, I just want one at this point.

Linked here is all the material me and others found online and in the final game itself. Feel free to sift through it so someone with more skills than me can find what I can’t. Anyone who makes videos on this stuff is free to use it without crediting or mentioning me, I don’t care regardless as long as it’s just talked about at all. I also have a smaller archive of the cancelled EWJ PSP game and what has been released to the public, if yall are curious about that too, I’ll post that at a later date.

also there’s something that looks a bit like Jim’s eyes hidden in the code like it’s ascii art which scared the heck out of me during a late night search.

Edit 1: I will upload the entire show to google drive tomorrow. I think that will be a better option instead of sharing episodes individually. - that way you'll be able to pick the ones you like.

I'll be updating the post with the link. And also, sorry for the wait, I know you guys have been commenting and I've read each and every one of your comments.

Don't worry, just -hold one for one day haha. I'd appreciate it if you understand, thanks in advance!

[Fully lost] Disturbing Youtube video of teenagers attacking elderly people and vandalizing a house [Fully lost] Disturbing Youtube video of teenagers attacking elderly people and vandalizing a house
Internet Media

Years ago, around 2004-2007, I remember someone posting a YouTube video link on Orkut (a popular social networking site in Brazil). The link was posted in a YouTube-related community.

The video showed a group of young people fighting with an elderly couple (I don't remember exactly if it was just one elderly person or a couple). The elderly man tried to fight back but he couldn't. The video was quite strange because I remember clearly that the old man's face wasn't shown. I clearly remember one of the boys grabbing a cat and throwing it on the ground (I remember a thud sound but I don't remember the cat meowing from the accident). The video was very strange. I don't know if it was real or a staged. Then they leave the elderly person's house and walk around the very large yard (it looked like a nursing home or a farm, but I'm not sure). I remember comments suggesting the video might be from Europe (Germany perhaps).

Does anyone remember this disturbing video? To this day I don't know if it was real or fake.

[partially lost] The Almost Royal Family 1984 [partially lost] The Almost Royal Family 1984
Television

The Almost Royal Family was a movie made with Scholastic Productions as part of the ABC After School Specials and premiered in season 13 as episode 3 and was one of the earliest films with Sarah Jessica Parker

It is about a family that inherents an island in the St Lawrence Seaway and discovers it is not claimed by either the United States or Canada

Afterwards, it was played on its own on Disney and Showtime

However, it has not been included on any VHS or DVD release that I'm aware of

I really enjoyed this movie as a child and it is the last movie missing from my movie wishlist

[Here it is mentioned in a promo] (https://youtu.be/6Vd5CMDvNMI?si=k0CsuSLU1ndLzx7o)

Here is the IMDB entry

If anyone has any thoughts on how to find a copy, I would be very grateful, thank you

It's really frustrating because it is not like it is particularly old and it just surprised me how much recent media is no longer available

Has the "asuba bawana" case been solved? Because I have a snippet [talk] Has the "asuba bawana" case been solved? Because I have a snippet [talk]
Youtube

Hi. A few months ago I found a post here on Reddit (or maybe more than one) about a case of a lost YouTube video called "Asuba bawana", which showed the head of an Indian woman slowly decomposing, although it wasn't real, just some images put together progressively changing from one to another.

I watched that video back in 2020 with some friends, and I have a snippet of it. I just want to know if it was found or not, so I can share it in case it hasn't.

But I can't find anything about that lost media case now. What happened? Were all the posts deleted?

Much of the episodes are missing but alternative subs could be found if looking an other video streaming serves for creators in other languages. One time found Ten ways to be abducted by an alien on Bilibili but lost it thanks to struggle on reading Chinese. Currently looking for completed versions of these documentaries to save and spread to ensure future generations could enjoy these documentaries with a 1950s feel in design and acting.
