A Love Letter to Shottr, the GOAT of screenshot apps
So Mac has a built-in way to take screenshots. If you know, you know you have been doing Command+Shift+4 or 3 a lot. Screenshots remain key when working in any business, so that key combination is wired in your brain.
But as designer, I need more.
And I’ve found it. It’s Shottr. And it is wonderful. Allow me to explain.
01 | The Basic features, but done right
In my book, there are two main things a screenshot app at it’s core should be able to do: take a area screenshot by dragging your cursor, or take a full screenshot. Just like the hotkey combination on Mac.
Shotter immediately shows you what picture you took, and you can copy, save or delete without leaving your keyboard. Gold.
