Yura (結楽) is one of the romanceable characters in Ayakashi: Romance Reborn. He belongs to the Dawn Faction.
Profile[]
The mysterious Yura lives apart from society with his younger twin brother, Gaku, in an abandoned shrine. Having lived for over 1,000 years, his wisdom is an invaluable asset to the team. However, a mysterious curse haunts him. Perhaps that is why he won’t allow anyone to hear him play his flute.
Appearance[]
Yura is shown to have silvery-blue hair and purple-magenta eyes. When he is in his adult form, it is described as pretty and rather delicate-looking. His hair is longer in the front.
In his Ayakashi form, he is seen wearing a white robe with long white sleeves. The sleeves have magenta patterns. The inside of his robe seems to be magenta, visible only at the sleeves. There is a magenta rope tied loosely around his chest and neck. A light green shirt with magenta tips is visible underneath the robe. He wears long, puffy sky blue pants that reach down to his ankles. Yura's shoes are dark blue with gold heels and a gold design on the top of the toes.
Personality[]
He typically has a laid back personality, and is characteristically sweet with animals. He can be upset or angry when something happens to Gaku.
Biography[]

Yura and Gaku were born 1000 years ago, they used to play many songs on their respective instruments, however one day a curse befell the twins. Yura can now only play one song, titled "Song of Death." This song kills anyone who listens to it. The twins then met an Onmyoji, Futaba, who promised them that they would break the curse. Before they could, however, the Onmyoji died in a battle to save the Capital.
Abilities[]
Ayakashi abilities and power:
- Ayakashi transformation: He can change his appearance into a human and Ayakashi, or his appearance to an adult or child.
- Magic Music: The Tsukumo-Gami's music is not for humans, according to Yura. Their music is magical. Yura is living under a curse, where he can only play only one song. The song is lethal for anyone who hears it. His instrument is a dragon flute.
- Song of Death (Cursed Note, present time): The only song that he can play. This song kills anyone who listens to it.
- Song of Awakening (Previously): This was one of the songs he played before the curse. This song can save a soul lost in the Netherworld.
Relationship[]
Gaku is his younger brother. Yura treats Gaku with respect and love. When Yura was first cursed, he was aware that Gaku was trying to find a way to break it. Yura asked Futaba to stop him, although she never took him up on this plea. He wants to protect Gaku, if something happens to him, he will find a way to save him, no matter what.
Yura met Koga when the oni ogre was young. He knows one of his hidden secrets and is helping Koga with that secret.
Yura invited Kuya to share tea and feed birds. They are shown to have a good relationship with each other.
He is kind and helpful towards Futaba, consistently offering advice or helping her with the Divine Arts and in other situations. He wants to stop her in the search to break the curse, because he doesn't want her and Gaku suffering while finding the cure.
Etymology[]
- The name Yura means "tie, bind" (結) (yu) and "easy, ease, comfort, music" (楽) (ra).
Trivia[]
- Yura's hobby is drinking tea and feeding the birds that Kuya is sometimes shown to be with.
- Yura's favorite food is the sweet-bean jelly.
- He can stomach lots of sweets, and is usually shown to be shoveling his mouth with them.
- Like Hisui, Yura has a very old-fashioned way of speaking.
