A massive uprooted tree in a public housing estate, damaged harbourfront restaurants, and beached marine life were among the trail of destruction that Super Typhoon Ragasa left in its wake on Wednesday in Hong Kong.
Ragasa – named after a Filipino word for rapid or fast motion – brought hurricane-force winds and caused significant rises in sea levels and flooding, especially along the eastern coastline. Our photojournalist was on the ground – follow HKFP for the latest updates.
