its kind of weird that if someone has a weird fetish you're just allowed to sexually harass them as a joke because it sounds funny and unsexy to you personally

i mentioned being in a pool with babyfurs in a side channel vid and im getting comments on unrelated videos like "hmm, don't you want to fuck babies in poopy diapers hmm?" like if this were about vanilla sex it'd be sexual harassment right? slut shaming but its funny so who cares
i dont even have a diaper thing. ive admitted to worse, dont act like id have a reason to lie about this
Devastating to hear that from my GOAT 😔
it's because people have a "bad" pigeonhole that they conflate everything in. like lumping one fetish with another or thinking someone is in to something because they don't hate it ("what other reason could they have to defend it?")
so if someone sees a subjectively-gross fetish and can't bring themself to imagine how a """good person""" could have it, they won't relate to any qualities of any person with it, and treat them in the same regard as people who harm others (same mental bin)
A lot of people are just bad people that don't want to look bad. So they just want to find "acceptable victims" for bullying that won't make them look bad
Yeah, I know that actually we are all people with the capability of doing bad and good. I've made a crude simplification for the point but a better way to phrase it would be that: some people just want to find an excuse to hurt others and not be reprehended.
And tbh, if there's such thing as "bad people" it would be people that knows they are hurting someone, knows that this is looken down on, so they calculate who can be their victim so they are not shunned themselves while still doing it.
I hate how common this is and that you're going thru that now.
it says a lot of how there are those who value punishing what they view as deviancy over having any sort of integrity.
Its a long-standing cultural tradition in our pocket of the globe of perserving the in-group by shunning & shaming the "other."
Its a leftover from ancient times. populations police themselves when you instill culture of shaming deviation from hegemonic expectations amongst themselves.
Especially if they’re otherwise against sexual harassment
Like, wtf are you doing?!? I thought you were above this!
it's like when someone asks pronouns because i never fill that in as information and i explain that it's any/all, but i like explaining that i actually MEAN that in the way that literally anything's on the table, and some people use it as an excuse to make fun of the idea,
but in reality it just makes me want to talk to them less, it's not the fact that i give you the freedom of choice's fault that you decided to use it to be an ass.
