hi I just wanna be extra clear. Sonja Lang () has published a book about toki pona through her publishing company, Tawhid press, and instead of listing herself as an author, listed me and several other people as authors.
Please do not buy this book.
I will make some things clear.

1. I do not endorse this book in any way. There is a page in the book laid out to seem like I endorse Sonja's works and recommend buying them. I have done this in the past, and I no longer do.
2. I recommend against buying any of Sonja's works. She doesn't need the money at all and better resources are available online for free.
3. I was not involved in the making of this book at all. Listing me as a direct author is incorrect.
These (above) are all my current opinions as they stand now.
if you really want to know what's inside the book, it's
1. a bunch of nonsense alliteration sentences in several languages
2. a page of what seems to be muslim poetry
3. kalama sin podcast episode 8 by lakuse
4. nimi ale pona, edited slightly
5. there's a page of quotes from me
of this, not much of it is original work. the original work is also pretty bad. so just from an art perspective. not worth the ten dollars. don't buy it.
I counted. FIVE pages are original content. only FIVE. this from the famed creator inventor matron of toki pona. also she calls herself a "seer" in it. what is even going on.
also I didn't mention this before but the entire book was written and published in what seems like a single day. production seems to have begun directly after I removed "pu" from my semantic spaces dictionary... hmmm. how curious.
This feels out of character for her right?
Do you think her accounts could have been hacked?
this would have been out of character for her about a year ago. since august, this is unfortunately very in character for her. she is not hacked.
That is unfortunate.
I wonder what happened that caused this change in behavior.
