Former Hong Kong leader Leung Chun-ying has tested positive for Covid-19 upon returning to the city from Singapore and Cambodia, he said on Thursday.
He revealed during a video speech for the Hong Kong Guangdong Youth Association that he is asymptomatic and is isolating at home, according to Ming Pao.

Leung said that the risks associated with travelling were often high but had to be taken so he could help create opportunities for Hong Kong abroad.
Commerce chief isolating
Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Algernon Yau is also undergoing home quarantine after a family member contracted Covid-19, the government said on Thursday.
Despite China moving to relax anti-epidemic measures, Hong Kong still enforces a group gathering limit of 12 people in public, makes mask-wearing compulsory, and requires tracing apps for entering certain premises such as restaurants.
As of Thursday, the city had seen 2.18 million cases and 10,864 Covid-19 deaths since the onset of the pandemic, according to the government’s online dashboard.
Last month, current Chief Executive John Lee contracted the disease upon returning from Thailand.
