Hong Kong’s 13th annual pride parade is set to take place on November 14. HKFP is a media sponsor.

Inspired by the image of a rainbow hot air balloon, organisers say it will be a day of fun and joy in support of the LGBT+ community.

“The hot air balloon not only allows humans to take flight, it also demonstrates that impossible dreams could become reality as long as we are willing to persevere. Thus, we should let our dreams take flight.”

The parade will be an opportunity for those who value freedom, equality and inclusivity to show their support for the city’s sexual minorities.

Date: November 14,2020 (Saturday)
Theme: Here and Proud
Dress Code: A Touch of Rainbow
The march is pending a “Letter of No Objection” from the police.
